The reservation was confirmed but the place wasn’t even open...
The building was for sale. We drove an hour to get there and had to buy take out from somewhere else

Booked reservation through OpenTable, received confirmation of reservation. Drove an hour to get there in the rain and traffic to find out it was closed when we got there! Will never use open table again!

This restaurant allowed us to book a table but was closed. When we got there, there was a for lease sign, so it was not recent.

Great place. All my staff and friends love this place!

Overall our experience was amazing! The drinks and food were delicious, and our server was one of the best! Our first time dining at Union Social and definitely not our last!

I found the service rather slow. We waited a long time for our food and when it came it was a little cold. We had a timeline to be back at the office and we had to pay during our meal to save time. Having said that we will come back for sure. Food is great and I guess it was a busy day. The service was nice enough I just think you were short staffed

Restaurant was great. No need to tell me I only had 4:53 minutes to confirm my booking, the place had 100 empty seats. Then after a good experience I got a snotty email from open table. So I went back the following night but didn't waste my time on this booking service...

Our server was great! However this is the second time in 2 weeks that it took over 1 hour for the main course to arrive. VERY disappointing

The salads were excellent! I had the Candywith the fancy chicken strips, and the combo of fresh fig, fruit bits, candied walnuts, and small bits of peppers was delicious....I wanted every bite . It was lightly dressed and with small crumbles of feta, both pluses in my book. My partners had a sandwich on cranberry toast (she loved it and doesn't usually eat full sandwiches), the spinach salad, and the banana chicken (unexpected and yummy). We were disappointed to see that this was a sports bar, but it exceeded expectations!

It’s the second time I’ve been there with coworkers and it was great. It would be nice to have more vegetarian options and I do not like the fries. They are too crispy and small. I prefer regular sized fries. And sweet potato fries would be even better.

The food and vibe were very good. My co workers were raving about the almond crusted chicken tenders for days. I appreciated my gluten free bun request was at no extra charge. However, at 12pm, we waited over 50 mins for our food. With no update, no expectations set.
I also saw multiple meals ready at the kitchen, not being served.

Great food and service. Pretty quiet for a Thursday night but probably because it’s a new location. Food prices are a little on the high side though, but tasty.

I know it’s early days but there was a serious staffing problem. Staff acknowledged it was an ongoing problem.

Went with Co-Workers for a Christmas lunch. Severely understaffed and poorly run - all of the reservations seemed to have been booked for 12pm. It took us an hour and 10 minutes to get the drinks we ordered and an hour and a half for food. The food was good, but not particularly warm when it arrived, and no one checked to see how it was. Will not be back.

Very poor experience. We ordered burgers in our group of 6 and were told they would be prepared medium well. When we got the burgers, they were more than well done and felt like we had a mouthful of chalk. Both the burgers and the fries were also grossly over salted. The server did not come by even once to ask how our food was. We all came from a game of bowling and were starving so despite the food tasting unacceptable, we ate it because were hungry. By the time the server had come by, we had been done eating for almost a half hour. When asked how the food was we were honest - the food was bad and nobody came by to ask how it was so we were left with no choice but to eat it because we were hungry. They brought over the supervisor and this is where it got even worse. We were never looking for free food. All we wanted was to feel heard and for the management to own up to the mistake and try to make it right. Instead we were interrogated for why we didn’t say anything sooner. We reminded them multiple times that at no point did anybody ever come over. Not once. Yet we were made to feel at fault for not saying something sooner. The guy offered us deserts and we politely declined because it didn’t really change the fact that they provided poor service and food. He then brought over a $20 credit for our next visit which we also declined because we said we weren’t interested in coming back again after the poor food and even poorer service. He got defensive and started asking what we wanted then from him. All we wanted from the beginning was some decent food and service. That’s literally it. They ended up taking the food off our bill which was more than we wanted but the whole experience was unpleasant and left us all really frustrated. Sad because this place has potential but we will definitely not be back ever.

Nice new place to venture for lunch while at work. Great menu options and friendly wait staff.

Good food. The owner came over and checked on us. Service was good, there were a few times we were waiting for the server, but nothing major. Everything was good and we will return again.

Place is relatively new but everyone is really nice and go out of their way to make sure you have what you need and are happy.

This is a bright, fresh, friendly alternative to the greasy spoons and overcrowded hotel restaurants on airport road. We took our departing loved ones for a goodbye brunch here before dropping them off for their long flight home, and it was perfect. The food was great, the service super friendly, and everything was spotless. As a side bonus, it was 10 minutes of empty back roads to get to terminal 1 departures, relaxed and well fed. This is the new “airport restaurant” for us.

Great new addition to our neighbourhood. We enjoyed every minute of our time
