Constructed in 1911-12, Union Station brought the Canadian Pacific Railway and the Canadian Northern Railway (later the Canadian National Railway) together under one roof. A major hub of both western Canada's railway system and the booming city that was growing around it, the building was designated to exude both classical elegance and bold optimism for the future.

    We are in the dining car and it has a delightful atmosphere. Regina Little Theatre is producing Murder on the Orient Express October 4-7. I chose the dining car to experience a car train atmosphere before seeing the play. Food selection was great. Appreciated being able to order 1 piece of liver, rather than 2 pieces.

    Just average for casino food. Menu selection good. Salmon was either undercooked or overcooked was not flaky like salmon should be. Another person in our group had to send dalad back twice she received not what she ordered waiter was good. Very friendly and personable overall it was an average experience

    I had the patcini(I think it’s called) it was delicious! Our server Victoria was great, she was very friendly and checking on us frequently to make sure everything was ok, which it was better than that! We have been there for Saturday breakfast in the past and have been very disappointed in the food (cold eggs, YUK) but Victoria and the supper made us decide we will be back !! 😀

    Restaurant was very busy and appeared extremely under staffed. Had a reservation for which we arrived 10 minutes early & we finally got in about 10 minutes late. There should be signage directing people on where to go if they have reservations versus all in a general lineup.

    They changed the noodles in the pancit from thin to thick without indicating that in the menu. We ordered it expecting the former and it was not as good and did not respect the Philipino version of the dish.

    Train car was very plain. I will not reserve in this area again. We ordered drinks and they did not come right away, she said there was an issue. We had our meal delivered before our beverage. In fact it came very fast ( 10 minutes ). Not a relaxing take your time dining experience. We sat down at 545 and we walked out at 615. It seemed they wanted us out as soon as possible to push more people through the doors.

    The rib steak and veal cutlets were perfect, along with everything else..coconut shrimp, root vegetables and mashed potatoes! 😋 The price was right and our server was great!

    Had a lovely evening first was the dinner. Great food, lovely waitress,professional,prompt service.! Won some money on the way to the show lounge. Then the entertainment was awesome.All in all a wonderful time.

    Average meal only. Expected better. I would say a 6 out of 10 for taste and portion size. My food was bland and not hot. Portion was light for evening meal - more suited to a midday lunch portion. Food did not match decor since the decor exceeds the quality of the food.

    Meal was excellent and our server was very good. However, they were very short-staffed so it meant a few delays particularly in settling our bill. But, as always, the Railcar is a nice atmosphere to dine in, the food is good and the staff are all very friendly and helpful.

    Went for an anniversary dinner and requested the train car seating. The initial contact with the server was good and drinks ordered. When the drinks arrived,we were not ready to order main course and requested more time to review menu. That is when things seemed to go off the rails. The server just seemed to vanish and we waited 35 minutes or more before going out to main dining area to see if we could get her attention. She explained they were very short staffed and it seemed this was a regular occurrence. It appears that the management of the complex (casino etc) is more interested in having lots of staff in the gambling area and minimal in the main restaurant. They may want to reconsider this.

    The food and service was excellent! We expected it to be expensive being that it's in the Casino but the choices were priced fairly, even the drinks! We will most definitely be back!

    Overall our breakfast was good. Once we got our meal the waitress only came around once for coffee refills and then we had to ask someone else for the waitress to come by the table so that we could pay our bill.

    There was NO OMELET STATION. There very few breakfast dishes. We had a reservation and had to wait for our table. Short Staffed. Why does the Brunch start so late? I am uncertain if I would recommend Union Station for Brunch.

    We went for dinner prior to attending a concert in the Casino Show Lounge. The menu is affordable and Candace provided great service despite the railway car being filled to capacity. The Casino could create more ambience in the rail car because it’s very stark, but nevertheless we had a nice dinner prior to our show. It’s very convenient to go for dinner and then head to an on-site show. The focus of the menu is affordable dining, not fine dining, which suits the venue.

    my beef dip was fried (bun). I had it earlier in the week and it was not fried. still good but greasy. the flapper pie was soggy. looked like it hadbeen sitting for a while

    We had reservations and were seated pretty quickly. Took our drink orders and then our dinner orders. Drinks came pretty quick and the dinner was amazing quick. It was an awesome experience. Hasn’t been here since Covid so I was very impressed.
