   We had 2 orders of Prime Rib. One order at medium and another at medium rare. I had to take half of the medium because my medium rare was cooked well done. The medium had barely any color to it as it was a thicker piece. My medium rare was very thin cut done well, it should have been fully pink, especially for a prime rib. We both had the 10 oz size. Will make sure I specify I want a proper medium rare next time.

   The server was sub par. Didn’t remember what drinks we had. Brought each drink separately. I had to reach for my plate across the table. Didn’t come back and ask if we needed anything else.

   It was busy, but thr staff all worked together. We were amazed of how everything flowed seamlessly. From the reservation desk to the servers making sure you were taken care of.. well done!!

   I thought it would be a little quieter in the train but it was packed. at the end of our meal it was nicer and I could hear my friend. we had to wait for dessert and bill due to full train!

    The waiter, Erwin, was excellent. Very friendly, helpful and kind. Give that man a raise!!!! My husbands meal was not hot like mine so they exchanged it for him. Then it was very good. We sat in the train so we could see outside and have the ambience of the train car, however, the windows were so dirty you could barely see through them. Those windows need to be cleaned every day. We certainly will return and we hope to have Erwin as our waiter.

    Our reservation was made for 1 pm on Easter Sunday for 5 adults in the rail car. We found that with the exception of the freshly made omelet, the food on the buffet was not at all adequate for the price we were charged. The English muffins on the eggs Benedict were so dry that it was difficult to cut with knife. The waffles were so dry and crusty thy resembled toast. The remaining lettuce was frost bitten. The hash browns were dried out. If the casino is going to offer buffet from 11 to 2, I would suggest that fresh food be replaced on the hour. The food that we were served was definitely there since 11 am or earlier. We would have had a much better meal if we could have ordered from the menu and perhaps the casino should consider offering only that option. Next time I will consider other venues for brunch over the Casino. We frequent the regular breakfast weekly but being Easter, we thought we would entertain guests in the rail car which did not disappoint. Neither did Jonas, our server. The omelet chef also deserves a good mention as he was polite and could carry a polite conversation which cooking fresh omelets. Sorry, but I will not be recommending the Union Station Restaurant for their Sunday brunch.

    Always a great place for breakfast. Busy - especially as it gets closer to 11AM with the buffet. Fabulous service and reservation system. Food was good and served quickly. Good value!

    Show lounge show booked dinner before show as we always do... Caesar salad was smothered in dressing and Romain had core chunks in the salad. Salad was very small for the value and had about four croutons in it.. potstickers were very small, dried out with a sauce that was very sour not good.. expensive fir value..Wine was served in a glass that was not stemmed I asked for a stemmed glass waitress advised no longer have stemmed glasses. I will no longer be having wine as I require a stemmed glass to drink wine. The next meal was a dried out croissant with not much ham in it,the soup called Italian wedding, had no meatballs in it have been very disappointed in CASINO food. We find breakfast only at the casino is very good,other than that we do like coming to the casino and we always book dinner at the casino when there’s a show and we have never found the dinner food to be good we have brought friends to the casino and they feel the same as I do. Sorry for this bad review but for regulars at the casino I feel management should know … we need to have better food. On a better note the waitress was sweet and very efficient!!

    We had a family/friend supper in the box car. It was nice and quiet in the box car and we were able to have a wonderful visit. Our waitress Candace was very cheery and efficient.

    A very important birthday lunch for my friend.it was my treat. She ordered mussels and could only eat less than half as all the mussels didn’t open. No time to reorder as she had another appointment after our lunch. I felt embarrassed for inviting her to a place that I know has good food but left her disappointed.

    My boyfriend and I came here to celebrate both our birthday while visiting from Saskatoon. We didn’t wait very long for service to begin what was nice. Our server announced her presence with slapping her tray on the table beside us and saying, “What do you want.” We replied we haven’t decided yet but ordered our drinks. We did get our order in and received our appetizers promptly. The appetizers were quite delicious. Once we were done we stacked the plates to be ready for when the server either came by or brought our meals. Our meals were brought out by the manager but he did not take the used plates so my boyfriend and I eat with dirty dishes in our way. The server, who was busy attending other tables, came by to quickly take the dishes. I ordered the jerk chicken which did not have a lot of flavour and was not spicy at all. My boyfriend ordered the Cajun chicken sandwich and he liked the sandwich. We got the flapper pie and tiramisù cheesecake for dinner and it was very delicious and probably be the only reason I would go back to this restaurant.

    Went for a birthday meal for the prime rib special on Sunday. The price was amazing and the prime rib, garlic mashed and vegetables were very tasty. Would highly recommend. Service was a bit slow but she was friendly.

    I wanted to donate the coupon I was given, but, unable to do so because I need an account, a password, I have to enter a gambling machine, play and then retrieve the remaining cash !!!!!!!!! Decreases the value of my money spent for breakfast and the FREE coupon. I like coming to the casino for entertainment and the food. What a rip off it has become.

    We booked weeks ahead for the 4:30pm sitting (the 6pm was sold out) on NYE. We had to wait in line with patrons that weren't booked in and were hoping to get a table. We finally were seated at 4:45pm and we were not talked to, nor served even a simple glass of water until 5:20pm when new staff started their 5pm shift. I am not sure why there would be an early sitting at 4:30pm if there isn't adequate staffing. The food came out fast, which we appreciated after waiting so long, however, the special that day was Prime Rib and quite frankly it wasn't great and overcooked. The salmon dish was quite nice, not a lot of food for the cost however. We both enjoyed the roasted butternut squash. Any ways, it was our first time experiencing your diner and unfortunately likely the last.

    Waitress was very pleasant and friendly. The dining car was very clean and well kept! Our meals were delivered right off the grill…nothing was cold. Everything was cooked to perfection and well seasoned. It was the first time in a long time that my steak was cooked exactly as I liked it. All in all compliments to the chef!
