Service was fantastic. Steak came out very rare (ordered medium rare). Scallops were over salted but cooked perfectly. Carrot side dish very undercooked. Overall not as good as our first experience here.

Maybe we just didn't order the right food for our palette, but it was a little bland. The crab cake app was very good. I like a medium-rare steak, but this was served very rare. Also ordered the duck and it was good, but I was expecting more flavor. All food was served lukewarm. Ambiance and setting was very good. Service was great, although it was not busy at all. I would try it once more, but if not impressed the second time, I won't go back; first time around definitely wasn't worth the price.

This was our second visit to Up Cellar. The first experience was phenomenal, but this second time we waited for hours for our food which was over cooked, the restaurant was freezing cold, and the table was not cleared after the appetizers. However, our server offered us 25% off of our entrées due to service issues as well as a free dessert. I hope they are able to turn this around because our first visit was so great and we would like to have this type of restaurant stay in business in Bargersville.

Everything was excellent! Finding the actual entrance and making it up the stairs were the only challenges. Suggestions Park in P+L lot, enter there as it is the common host stand for both restaurants and wear sensible shoes with grip. The food is delicious, the staff is helpful and congenial, and the ambiance is a welcome sight for the area! Thank you

The service was wonderful and the food amazing. We were there to celebrate a birthday and there was a personal note on our table for the birthday person. Second time we have eaten there, and the place is so nice.

Food was bland. Everyone in our party agreed it was not a good meal and we all got different things. 2 steaks undercooked and flavorless, risotto was flavorless and cold, $9 mushrooms and there were 5 of them, overall very disappointed. My lobster chowder was the only positive think about the night. Waited forever for check, food, and drinks. Once we got a dessert menu, we were told the one think we wanted was sold out…of course. Left with two checks for $130 and $150 and everyone was still hungry. We had to stop for pizza on the way home. Sad.

The food was excellent and the wine was wonderful. You need to know that the restaurant is up a steep, long flight of stairs and there is no elevator. My husband had a hard time getting there.

First time at Up Cellar and it was a good experience with just a couple of areas that we noticed that could bump them up to a five star rating. First, the scrumptious (massive) crab cake and filets would have been amazing with a touch more seasoning. A bit of finishing salt on the crab cake and a small pat of the salted butter that they serve with the pillowy dinner rolls would have been perfection. I ordered a chopped salad and it wasn’t chopped. By nature, you should not need to cut greens in a chopped salad. It was not a memorable salad (not loaded with ingredients like a chopped salad should be … it was all lettuce) and didn’t live up to the rest of the fabulous meal and overall experience. The mashed potato garnish with the steak was good and I would have loved more than the two slices of roasted carrots that accompanied them. Our server, Lexi, was wonderful. The chocolate lava cake was delicious with a crispy exterior and gooey center. Wine list was outstanding. Will give them another try soon!

Server was great. Wedge salad was crisp, good blue cheese and goose the market bacon. Grouper outstanding, sea bass special very good, and steaks were good- tried the bordelaise sauce which was good but rich. Nice wine selection and good cocktails. Order meals before you start salads or appetizers as kitchen is a little slow. The chairs do not move well on the floors and sit a little low from table- caution if anyone in the party has mobility issues

Service good but slow. We were constantly out of water . I had a cosmopolitan drink and asked for another - it never cane . It took well over 20 minutes to get our appetizer and the complimentary bread came AFTER we got the appetizer. We were severed our main course 45 minutes later without an explanation for what took so long . We order two filets, medium and they were very rare . Most restaurants medium is a very warm pink center , ours were both cool and bloody, had to send them back to get cooked more, another 10 minutes . I wanted to have desert, but by this time we had been there 2 hours, waiting on under cooked food so I just asked for a check and left

Great service, and feel of the restaurant. I ordered the 10 oz Filet which was cooked great. In my opinion the shrimp in the cocktail were too large making them tough. Drinks were fantastic. Would definitely go again with a different order

The atmosphere was nice. Cocktail and wine selection was good. The waitress we was pleasant. Our party of five ordered two ribeyes and two fillets, and one chicken dish. When the steaks were delivered, they requested that we cut into them to check to see if it had been prepared properly. Both steaks ordered as medium or over cooked. First time ever we have sent a steak back but we did send the ribeye back. I’m surprised was even delivered to our table. It was half the thickness of the other ribeye, and you could tell it had been overcooked. It was dry looking and not appetizing. They did promptly re-cook it however for the price of the steaks, that’s unacceptable for it to happen in the first place. The other problem with returning a meal is the person then sit there while everyone else is eating. For the price they charge as a nicer dining establishment that should not happen. The other disappointing thing was that our four steaks were served quite a bit before the chicken dish. In nicer restaurants the kitchen should be able to plate all the meals for the table at the same time. Lesser restaurants are able to accomplish this. The side dishes were also cold and honestly not great. I would recommend staying away from the loaded twice baked potatoes. We were unimpressed. Our bill before tip came to almost $400 for a meal of this price of entrées should come out at the same time and cooked properly. Unfortunately, the restaurant did not meet our expectations. I certainly would’ve expected for the steak that was improperly cooked and returned to the kitchen to have been removed from our bill. This was not offered to us. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this to anyone. I might be willing to give it a try in a few months, and hopefully the kitchen will have improved.

Everything about Up Cellar was amazing. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you wanted to celebrate a special occasion. The service by Sammie was fun, and she was very conversational and helpful with some of the questions we had on what to order.

The lobster bisque was so salty it couldn't be eaten or enjoyed. The grouper was tasteless and the risotto was just like water. The price was very high for such bad food. Our server Jay was wonderful. And it's too dark in there.

Cocktails were outstanding! Lobster soup was not really a bisque, but more like a stew. Petit filet was awesome, flavors on grouper were great but risotto was way over cooked and was a mush that ruined the dish. Great ambiance and brilliant place to have a date. Staff were friendly and understanding that we didn’t like the grouper dish.

For the most part the food was fine. They were out of three different menu items. Tbe substitute for the dessert was a bananas foster in which the fruit was black :(

Very disappointed in the food quality and taste. This is the 5th or 6th time we have been there and it has always been exceptional to where we have three other dates in mind to bring friends/family but rethinking it now. I don't know if it was because it was Devour, but to me that shouldn't make a difference. The question would I recommend Up Cellar I will answer yes, but with some reservation. Thank you.
