                                                                                              The service was not the best at all, especially for he restaurant being sort of empty. Wait time for food was excessive and unfortunately not as tasty as hoped for. Will not return.

                                                                                              My daughter was home from college and wanted to go to Uptown Yolk. She was so excited for the food. The host was amazing and sweet! Love the location. Our waitress waited about 10-15 mins to greet us. My daughter ordered water and I ordered coffee. I waited for another 30 mins for my coffee after I asked another server. Food was ok, not terrible but ok. The service was not great from our waitress. She never followed up or checked on us. The food took too long! I think the price is fair but the service will probably make me second guess coming back.

                                                                                              We heard great reviews about this place so my two friends and I decided to go. Disclaimer: Please disregard my ratings on their food. We were not able to get food due to the quality of service and their wait time. We had a 12:15 reservation and were seated immediately. However, we sat 15 minutes before being greeted by our server. When she finally came, we placed our order. While placing the order, we were alerted that that ran out of a few items. The three of us ended up ordering eggs, bacon, and a simple side. We sat an additional 30 minutes before the waiter came back to check on us. We asked about the wait and her response was “I don’t know they’re behind” and we said okay. Around 1:30 we asked someone else and his response was “the kitchen is behind.” We let him know we’d be waiting around and his reply was “everyone is waiting. Are you in a rush?” At that moment I was irritated at the lack of customer service. We constantly had to ask for an update and nobody seemed to have any real answers. We had seen two other tables just leave so after waiting until 1:45, we just got up and left. Went somewhere else and was eating our food by 2:15.

                                                                                              Not satisfied with table seating. Felt more like community arrangement and was too tight and close to other diners on both sides. Otherwise the food and service were exceptional.

                                                                                              I celebrated my birthday here ! I loved the food , the esthetics, the people, and the music. My family were first timers and agreed that this will be the new place for them to enjoy an amazing Bruce with great vibes !

                                                                                              We had a very nice alfresco brunch at Uptown Yolk. There was a problem with flies. We were swarmed. The management provided an electronic device to help deal with the flies, but it was mostly a failure. The fly situation made the experience a little worse than it would otherwise have been. Do yourself a favor and sit indoors.
