Loved this restaurant/ pub. first time there and would love to go back. Big portions, great food, great service and the music was also great. All around great time with the family for my Mom's 70th Birthday. Thank you for making it a wonderful experience.

We very much enjoyed our first visit to Urban Angus. The background music was at the perfect volume & was a bluesy-jazz & not annoying like most places. Our servers were really lovely, chatty & attentive. Our dinners were delicious. We feel like we've finally found our new place to dine out instead of having to go all the way into Ottawa - which is hit & miss anyway since Hy's closed down. We will definitely be back & will share our experience with all our friends!

Our anniversary dinner was great. The restaurant also celebrated with us by offering a free bubbly on the house, which was very enterprising. The ambiance was good and comfortable. We were greeted and served in good time. Our server, who incidentally is the assistant manager was very professional and kind Only negative comment I would add is that for the price of the steaks we had, they were very tasteless. No seasoning or flavour

Great ambience, the restaurant is very welcoming; we enjoyed the live entertainment. Servers and service was great. One point of curiosity, the glass table where we were seated had place mat/setting but never used and our plates "spun" on the glass. The spinach dip appetizer was great and well portioned. Both entries were generous servings. However, the Chicken Carbonara sauce was thick and a bit bland, but chicken was well done; the 10oz filet was undercooked to rare in my opinion (order medium rare) and there was some fat in the meat which is not typical for a filet. They was a very good wine list, just wished there was more options for by the glass. It was our first time at Urban Angus, we will go again and see if this was just a one off. We will recommend to friends and share our experience.

Quality steak cooked to perfection! The restaurant is nice and cozy but if you’re looking for a high end motif this may not be for you. I will say though if you do decide to give it a try the food will bring you back. They also have live entertainment on scheduled night.

I enjoy and look forward to going a good steak house. I’ve been to many in my 60 plus years. This would not be one that I’ll return to. The filet okay but nothing special. It was labelled a 10 oz but my guess would be 6 oz at the most. Their “signature” peppercorn sauce (served in a plastic fast food container) was terrible. The twice baked potato was gummy and not palatable. Ambience was the best feature this place had going for it. There was a large fan adjacent to our table. We asked for it to be turn down or off and that didn’t happen for half an hour at the least. There was also billed live music that was to start at 7:00. At 8:00 we inquired. They had cancelled. Little things I know but it all contributes to the experience.

Overall was quite happy with our dinner here, the portions were huge, better than the Keg for sure. Our waiter was a bit frazzled it seemed they might have been understaffed but the other waitress was seemingly doing fine, would have ordered another drink but he never came around If we are in the area again, we will come again

I really enjoyed the 10oz filet mignon it was cooked to perfection. They even cooked the broccoli that I can honestly say was delicious. My husband had the Big Angus 9oz hamburger and he had so much food on his plate that he couldn’t eat it all. He said it was the best burger he has ever eaten even better than some well known burger restaurants. The lava carrot cake with cream cheese icing was exceptional. We both said we want to go back to eat there again and will likely try the Maple chicken.

Our party of three had a lovely evening. We had drinks and shared 4 appetizers. Service was excellent and attentive. Live music created a fun vibe. All of our appetizers were delicious. Especially loved the cauliflower, the bruschetta and the spinach dip. Yummmm! Will have to come back to try some steak.

This was our first visit. We came because of the performer that night. The restaurant was extremely noisy even before the music began. Our appetizers were delicious, however our main course of chicken and burger were very disappointing. My Spanish coffee was delicious. I would not return for dinner, but perhaps drinks and entertainment.

We were 5 for a 50th Wedding Anniversary and one of the steak dinners was not as ordered at all. The steak was medium rare when a well done was requested, the potatoes were double baked with cheese and bacon when baby potatoes was requested. Although the waiter brought the correct potatoes, he should have insisted on the entire meal being replaced or made an adjustment on the bill. My father in law is 70 and was embarrassed to ask, and ate what he could.

What an amazing gem to find in Arnprior. We were greeted by very friendly waitstaff, and were amazed at the ambiance of the restaurant itself. We were given a booth with high tables, in a niche surrounded by dozens of pillows. The menu, and wine list were very good. We both enjoyed our steaks, and the presentation was superb. The twice baked potatoes were delicious....the whole meal was great. Next time we are out that way, we will definitely be back!

We sat out on the patio and we’re so well taken care of by Olivia our server and Nick the manager! The food was so good, we shared a bottle of a local sparkling wine and the service was amazing. We will definitely be back to celebrate our next special occasion there!

Over price liquor menu. Background music was not to our liking and was played at a level that was not conducive to holding a conversation. Service was ok but not at a level one would expect in a higher end restaurant. This was our first visit and probably our last.
