    Service was outstanding. Very pleasant! The value for the food wasn’t that great and has to be the reason for the lower rating. Also the water I was served seemed to be straight out of the sink. For a few hundred dollar dinner I’d expect you to run it through a water filter. They cost $20 at Costco. Not a big deal

    I requested for a particular sushi that they didn’t have on their menu because I did love it when many months ago they made it. Although, it was not on their menu they made their chef prepare it for me . Such thoughtfulness! Exceptional people and service!!

    Good service, only reason I didnt give it 5 stars was because our appy was cold (shrimp Tempura). Otherwise the experience was excellent. Waiter was awesome too. Lovely environment.

    Waited for a solid hour to get meal after being served apps. Wait staff seemed overwhelmed but the place had many open tables. Waiter never checked in neither did the manager. Nobody offered to comp us for the terrible service or wait. Waiter blamed kitchen. We still tipped 18% because we couldn’t say who was to blame. For the price the food was just ok. Very disappointing. I would avoid. I don’t write reviews very often.

    Not much options for anyone with Celiac Disease. Overpriced for the quality of food. We had the rib steak which was paper thin and tough with a lot of grizzle. Very disappointed for the money spent. Over $300 for two people.

    Bon service, mais nourriture correcte sans plus. Soupe à l’oignon délicieuse, mais faux filet, très moyen, ne vaut pas le prix. En à côté,nous avons pris poutine a la sauce au poivre, purée de pomme de terre et salade cesar. La salade était bonne,mais les deux autres accompagnements ne valaient pas le coût. Aller au restaurant coûte tellement cher que cela doit en valoir la peine.

    Our second visit here and it wasn’t as good. The server was friendly but seemed inexperienced. A side plate got knocked onto the floor and the server put it back in the table. The wine service was very poor. The steak was surprisingly undercooked (we ordered MR) and generally felt like they were cutting corners on the prep and sides. The sushi was tasty but not sure if I would go back again as the value isn’t there overall.

    I told our server I dropped a star as the 42 day dry aged options were available. I had my heart set on the Kansas cut sirloin and it was not there due to a change over in the menu :(. The rib cap was excellent.

    Unfortunately i had very poor service when celebrating our 5 year anniversary here. It seemed like our server was deliberately ignoring us to tend to his larger tables. We sat at our table for 2.5 hours, mostly waiting around for our server. 15 mins to be greeted, another 15 to take our order. I had the prime rib, it was quite good. My partner had the filet mignon and sushi, he asked for medium rare and received a well-done steak despite the menu saying “they don’t encourage well done steak”. Our server couldn’t be found and we were starving by the time we received our food so we just ate. The server forgot to add our roasted garlic mashed potatoes, we asked for them again but received plain mashed potato. When we finished eating, our table was cleared by another server and we sat around waiting for 10 minutes for our server. He never came back, despite us seeing him at other tables. We wanted dessert but it was never offered. We had to ask a different server for our bill twice. A very unfortunate experience for our 5 year anniversary.

    Service and food were excellent. Ambiance was good. Noise level was too high. In another room there was a large party that was so loud we could not hear each other talk at the far end away from the party. Nonetheless, I'd highly recommend the restaurant and would go again next time I'm in Montreal.
