Vaucluse is still the best prix fixe lunch deal in NY! Beautiful room, attentive service, wonderful menu with lots of choices, delicious food - 3 courses for $28! This is my go-to place. Always great.
This is the best kept secret in the area. Three course gourmet lunch for $28! Best salad I’ve ever had, perfectly prepared fish and dessert-I ate every bite. I’ll be back for sure!

This is absolutely one of my favorite restaurants in NYC. and we have gone to most of them! The food is delicious, delicate and made with love. The service, outstanding, the ambiance is my favorite color of chill.

Exceptional as always. Our third or fourth visit and Vaucluse never fails to exceed our expectations.
The Food was outstanding, unfortunately the experience was marred by terrible service. It took 20 minutes from the time we sat down for someone to take our drink order. Another 20 minutes passed until someone showed up to take our order. When the truly outstanding lobster veloute arrived, it was tepid, almost cold. It must have been sitting in the kitchen for 20 minutes. I could tell there were problems in the kitchen by looking at the couple at the adjacent table. They had their appetizer before us, but their second dish (we were all on the four course Valentine’s Day menu) arrived 10 minutes after hours. They must have been waiting a half hour between courses. The main dish, another superbly executed dish, arrived not tepid, but cold. My wife’s fish was warmer, but the vegetables were cold.
Our table felt as if we were sitting in the middle of an Indy 500 pit stop. Waiters seem to be running everywhere, the ambiance was rushed. Overall it was a terrible experience. Total came to $275 PER PERSON. For that price I could have picked some of the best restaurants in the country. This place has excellent cooks, unfortunately it is terribly run. They obviously have a good publicist on the payroll given it’s supposed popularity. I will not return
In spite of or maybe because of Valentines Day the meal and service were flawless. Perfect. Again.

I have been to Vaucluse several times and it is typically superior, but they were slightly off this Valentine's. They seemed understaffed. The waitress was excellent and working hard but they did not seem to have enough wait staff for the crowd. I've been when it was just as busy but the number of staff they had on Valentine's could not keep pace with the crowd and there were waits to get bread, etc. and the food came out somewhat cold. The venison was also quite gamey and not very well seasoned or flavored. I've had better there many times. The biggest disappointment was the "special" menu for Valentine's which had many of their regular dishes missing and was double the normal price. Sorry , but charging $187 for a 4 course when it is usually $97 is gouging plain and simple. This was not communicated outside on their menu or when we made reservations well overall month in advance. I'll dine there again but NEVER on ripoff Valentine's Day.
Lunch at Vaucluse is a wonderful experience. The menu is perfect, food delicious, portions appropriate. The service is top-notch and the room comfortable and beautiful. Can't imagine a better experience. Thank you!
Lunch pre fixe outstanding
Food was excellent, restaurant is beautiful. Server got order wrong (bringing 1 rather than 3 desserts), charged us for all 3 desserts, then denied that we were charged for them until we showed him the math. That shouldn't happen in this good a restaurant.
This was my first experience here. I have dined at Marea before and enjoyed your t very much. The dining room is quite formal and very elegant. The menu has several options including 2 prix fix options: a 3 course for $98 and a six course tasting menu for $168 , I opted for 3 a la carte courses. The Alaskan King crabmeat Salas with mesculum and creme fresh was very refreshing, and the king crabmeat was outstanding. Got my main course, I selected the roasted veal loin, which was served with veal sweetbreads and salsify, with a veal Demi and mustard sauce. Mouthwateringly delicious. For dessert I had the lemon tart with vanilla ice cream also delicious. Vaucluse has a very nice selection of wines by the glass. Service was spot on and excellent. I highly recommend Vaucluse.
The price fixe menu for lunch is excellent; wide variety of appetizers , entrees . The service is outstanding and the ambience is wonderful. The noise level was a bit uncomfortable, but not outlandish as we find in a number of restaurants in NYC. Our overall experience was most enjoyable and we look forward to our next visit.

My party of four had lunch at the restaurant which is beautiful inside. The menu was prix fixe and very reasonable for what you get. The food was delicious
The staff were excellent, and the tables were spaced apart nicely, so everyone had privacy. After dinner, we were not rushed out.
I highly recommend it for lunch.

We had lunch and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the meal. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and gracious and the noise level was such that you could carry on a conversation. The butternut squash tortellini was heavenly. The fixed price lunch is a tremendous value.

I found the service from the moment you entered as friendly and professional. Once seated our waiter was gracious and attentive and knowledgable as to our various questions regarding the entree selections.
Overall it was a pleasurable and happy experience and as it is my fourth time visiting I am convinced once again it is a special dining experience to continue to return to again and again.
The place is beautiful, good wine and good service, expensive, the food was bad! Some dishes un-eatable.
