The waiter asked us mid dinner if everything was nice and I said yes. It was nice, just not good. I usually don’t order Chicken Parm because I am usually disappointed but I thought a restaurant that takes itself so seriously would do it right. They didn’t. The dish was no better than any roadhouse, the chicken was dry and had way too much breading. The pasta served with it was not al dente but under cooked. The service was excruciatingly slow. All in all just not worth it.

Overall a very positive experience….A good choice of dishes… the pizzas are overpriced as many restaurants seem to be lately! Double the cost of European restaurants…same with the wine; particularly since they offer 5 oz glasses.

We didn’t get off to a good start because there was a confusion as to what servers section we were in. Once we advised the hostess we had a server right away. We received an apology and they gave us complimentary glass of wine. We had salad for appetizer and it was a very large portion and excellent tasting. We also had pizzas which were excellent. Nice restaurant and good value

Our server P.J. was very attentive, funny, and kind. The calamari appetizer was perfectly cooked, but we found it a bit small for the price. Also, the wine seems to be priced higher than other surrounding restaurants. In terms of the mains, our table of 8 was an even split between pizza and pasta orders and everyone loved their meal. Authentic Italian all really well done! Will be returning and recommending to friends.

Lovely restaurant. However, it took an hour and a half to get food. We were a dinner of 4. One of us was waiting for food for more than 10 minutes after the three of us were served. No compensation or explanation provided. It was very loud so we all had to yell to hear each other. It was a little on the chilly side too. That said, the food was very good.

The bathrooms are dirty, bread should be served right away, escpecially with mussels, the espresso gelato, should not be swimming in espresso so it becomes soupy. Mussels and Carpaccio were excellent. Pasta tagliatelle was too spicy. Pizza dough a bit bland (no salt), sauce was excellent. We will always compare to Terroni.

A great downtown vibrant Oakville restaurant with excellent menu selections. The restaurant is very popular and always busy. Price points are competitive for food items but very pricey for the majority of the wine selections. Last evening we dined at Verace, our server was a young lady, a recent hire and trained by Tomi. She was excellent! We shared a tasty Caesar salad and for our entrees had a Tagliatelle dish and Chicken Parmigiana....both were delicious.

Amazing food! Excellent taste and presentation . Super friendly and attentive polite staff. The place was packed - which is a testament to the fabulous authentic food. They know how to do good food right!!! The only negative was that the noise level was extreme. Very difficult to have a conversation and our ears were ringing, our voices sore at the end of the night. I would go back because the absolutely amazing food and super friendly servers. But I would avoid the evening rush.

We went for Mother's Day because we heard great comments about the restaurant. Unfortunately, our experience was not good. My husband's dish was too salty and my daughter's pasta was overcooked. Th restaurant is too expensive and it is not worth it.

For a new restaurant just starting up, Verace has certainly hit a home run! Fantastic pizza with an authentic pizza oven imported from Napoli and genuine Italian cuisine. I strongly recommend the paperdelle with funghi and tartufo - it is wonderful. Good wine list with very attentive service. Well done, Verace.

What a wonderful dining experience. The food the service. Our server was Alice I think. Very attentive and professional, friendly and kind. The glassware was impeccably clean. They inspect each glass at the bar. Wow. I would go back in second. Worth the money. 100%
