This was me and my parents first time at this restaurant and we will 100% be going back. My parents loved the risotto and squid ink pasta that they got. Lots of wine selection for them as well. I got the margherita pizza which was good, although I’m not a big fan of sourdough so I’ll definitely try a salad or pasta next time! Service was also good, not as quick as we’d like but the restaurant was full so we understood. Would highly recommend.

We had a lovely meal. Food was tasty. Service was a bit slow. We had a nice table. It was my 40th birthday. The open table reservation did note that but they didn’t really say anything. I suppose that doesn’t matter but the little touches do make a good restaurant great. Overall I would definitely return as the food was very good! Thank you!

The staff were so nice. I was meeting old friends that I hadn’t seen in years and they let us just sit and chat and enjoy our meal and wine and chat. Such a nice time. Ambience is great. Food is amazing!

Way too noisy. Had to yell to be heard at a tangle of 4. Appetizers were good but pasta was not hot when our came. We have been there previously and it was much much better.

We booked a table for 8 on a Saturday for 3 birthday celebrations. The hostess and our server, Ulas, were amazing. They were able to allow all the requests we ask for, including coordinating the arrival of each person's cake. Everyone in the restaurant joined in to sing Happy Birthday. They made it a fun and special night. Let's not forget the food. From appetizers, to wine, to mains, every dish was well presented and delicious. The highlights of the meal were the mussels, a substantial portion that consisted of large size mussels in a wonderful tomato base broth. My father, who is from Northern Italy, said the mushroom risotto reminder him of home. Many family members had the woodfired pizza. The crust was light and thin and the toppings were generous. Overall it was a wonderful evening, from start to finish. I think this is now our family's favorite restaurant.

Verace Italian Restaurant is our favourite downtown Oakville eatery. It has great vibe and always busy. Last evening, Friday, we dined there … our Server, Ulas, was outstanding… personable, attentive and efficient. Our shared appetizer which was large (Arugula, Beets, goat cheese salad), entrees (Spaghetti with Lobster Tail & Scallops, snow peas in a white wine sauce with garlic and Tagliatelle with Tiger Shrimps, cherry tomatoes, Arugula in white wine lemon sauce) were all excellent…tasty & delicious! An enjoyable evening … great dinner with outstanding service!

Really Good quality food. The waiter was not great this time. He was not very friendly like the last time we went there. And it was so loud that we had a hard time talking. But the food is one of the best in the area.

It was find I felt a bit rush we were still chewing and our plates were very fast removed from our table.. I also mentioned in my reservation that I did a week before that we were celebrating a birthday for no reason nothing was done or acknowledge.. not sure if I will be back here..

I booked an anniversary dinner. They decided to place us beside a party of 18 people. Not that I wanted or expected a quiet atmosphere but to be placed beside a large group was rather annoying. First time there and we left once they said they cannot move us. We will never return to try the food.
