   They need to do better with their hostessing. I almost canceled the reservation because she was so unhelpful and blasé. However, our waitress was wonderful. PK was her name, and she made us feel so much more welcome than the hostess did. The outdoor space is lovely, and the food was wonderful! I think their hostess may be turning people away with her attitude.

   Uuuuum pretty bad. Crabmeat Au gratin was cold so we sent it back and then it came back hot with a dead fly in it so we left.

   Fabulous ! Loved the venue! The drink menu is extensive with a wide variety of choices ! The food menu was simple yet just the right amount of options. We loved the food, the service and the church ! Plenty of parking and the neighborhood was a huge plus with beautiful historic homes. Don’t pass up a chance to dine here

We have been doing our best to cope with the cost of inflation and stagnation of sales with the summer doldrums affecting much of the city.     I loved the scenery ! Very different! A nice intimate place for a perfect date! Hannah was our waitress and she was so sweet and kind !! Definitely will be back !!

    A few co-workers went during happy hour and the drink and food selections are great! It's great all the time though. One of the prettiest places in the city.

    Omg this food was soooo good the chef must be an artist. The menu has changed but the new food is just as good as before. Our drinks were A1 and our server Parrish was the server I want at every restaurant I go to. He was very attentive, gave good recommendations, he did not interrupt when he came to table but was very friendly and interactive when we weren’t busy talking. We will be back!

    Vessel is a gorgeous venue...an old church converted to a restaurant with beautiful stained glass windows and a nice bar. Mostly indoor seating, but they do have some outdoor patio seating as well. The staff were tremendous: just the right amount of attention and pleasantries! The brunch was incredible and the drinks were delicious! Definitely recommend for brunch!

    We had a party of 16 to celebrate by brother's 60th birthday. The staff was very attentive and accommodating. We requested 3 checks, which the waiter agreed. Loved the atmosphere. Food was great. Definitely worth a revisit.

    I love how they turned this chapel into a restaurant so the inside was very refreshing. The food was also super good and the staff was very quick. A really good place for brunch tbh.

    Everything about it was amazing! We were a little weary about the limited menu but to be quite honest it’s because everything is homemade and just delicious !!! Our waiter Tyler was very friendly attentive and kind! Overall an amazing experience .

    Food was absolutely delicious!! We had the seared scallop risotto, the crab boiled shrimp salad, the market fish, and fries. Parrish, our server, was the absolute best. I don't even remember our drink names but we told him our preferences and he picked the absolute best drinks. Great service, great food, great ambiance! In love, will be back and recommend whenever visiting NOLA

    It was a busy day for Vessel when we were there. My third visit. The 2 prior visits, everything was perfect. My guess is there's been a recent change in kitchen staff? It was a long wait fir our food and I noticed two of our guests barely ate anything on their plates. The burger buns were burnt, way too many shells in the shrimp and grits. Bacon seemed under cooked. I was disappointed because I had recommended this place to our our if state guests. I more than likely will return because I know this was not the norm. Can't say the same for our guests.

    Highly recommend this place. The drinks, food, ambiance, and service were superb. I believe our waiter’s name was Bone and he did a fantastic job of making recommendations and making us feel comfortable. We will be adding this to our regular date rotation for when we go to NOLA.

    The restaurant was musty and dank. We were seated SO CLOSE to other dinners that that it was awkward to hold our own conversation. The water in our glasses literally smelled like dirty dishwater. The craft cocktails were nice. The menu online was absolutely not the menu in the restaurant. We ordered the cheese plate where the cheese was leaking oil and was obvious it had been sitting out for a while in addition to it being three tiny slivers of cheese. When the table next to us ordered the scallops they smelled so bad that we asked for the check and left without eating dinner

It's clear there were many issues when you dined with us. It's disappointing to learn about issues when we can do nothing to remedy your visit after you are gone. We get our scallops fresh almost daily, however they are prepared with truffle which has a distinct aroma. I hope you enjoy other dining experience in the future. -Management

    We had the cheese board and add a price of $16 it should’ve been more than a quarter of an ounce total of cheese. We tried to order crabmeat au gratin they did not have that available. We ordered the hush puppies they were undercooked but very dry at the same time

    We ate at 8 PM so the place was dead. It’s smelled musty when we walked in so I was immediately turned off. Food was pretty good but we were there a for 1:15 and spent 280 on 3 meals a couple appetizers and drinks. Had our kids with us (our fault for choosing this without really looking at the menu) and they really were not super excited about the menu. Again this is on us but overall just a bad choice for us that night. I’m sure when it’s hopping it’s fun and the cool interior really comes through. Couldn’t get past the dank smell though.

We just recently got the roof replaced, but we are also a old all wooden building. We are continuing to repair issues from the storm, however getting contractors schedule is a known issue here.     A group of four of us went together Before the theater… Happy hour from 4 to 6 was a hit to get better priced drinks. Food was good and ambience was cool
