   We went on Saturday night thanks I reserved the table we ask for cozy corner we sat and right after my wife noticed we were too close to serving station she changed her seat instead seating on my left side she moved to right side so she doesn’t have to look in that direction it was so nice of the manager he realized something going on without any request he came to us and changed or table he gave us the best seat in the house thanks jessy it was a great experience we loved the food and ambiance and best in class service Jamie I want my bottle of wine # 1855.3 please save some for my next visit we are so impressed we will be bringing our friends for dinner

   Ceasar salad was excellent.. Our two pasta dishes were spot on .. Service was OK. I have been a patron for MANY years and I have to say, my experience this time out was one of the best.. kudos to Chef Marco and his team.

    Well it was supposed to be a date but she didn’t show up leaving me to dine alone in this establishment I could tell the waiter had sympathy for me but in all a bad situation turned into a good meal

    We have dined at Via Allegro 3 times over the past month as well as many times in the past. The food is always spectacular, the atmosphere is beautiful and the service is USUALLY impeccable. Unfortunately on Sunday, the service left a lot to be desired. When we were seated, we were informed that we wouldn’t have one server but we would be served by any server who was available at the time. That would have been fine but unfortunately that’s where the dining experience fell apart. We ordered drinks which came promptly, then we ordered our food. We ordered appetizers and our mains but we also ordered 2 pizzas to take home at the end of the meal and informed our server that we would not be ordering dessert. Our appetizers came promptly and we were offered fresh cracked pepper as per usual. Once we finished our appetizers, our mains came soon after but once they arrived, we waited for fresh cracked pepper and parmesan cheese. After about 5 minutes we asked a passing server for pepper and Parmesan. He brought the pepper mill and left again. We asked a second time for Parmesan and we’re told he was trying to find it! It took him another few minutes to find the Parmesan, meanwhile our meals were getting cold. We eventually got the Parmesan and we’re able to finish our mains. Once we finished, we asked for the bill and the pizzas but the pizzas hadn’t even been started. We had to wait an additional 20 minutes for the pizzas and then we had to ask another server for the bill. This is incredibly uncharacteristic of Via Allegro but it was very disappointing. Aside from the incredible food, we go to Via Allegro for the excellent and attentive service. The service really fell apart on Sunday. When we were there earlier this month, we were served by Boris and he was incredible! He was the most attentive server we have ever had, he spent time chatting with us and making a personal connection which made us feel like we were “family”. This is what we expected.

    Lovely ambiance and huge selection of wines. Quality food and good portions for the price. The quail appetizer was amazing in presentation and taste as well as the whole branzino and rabbit Pappardelle. The service is good but needs more attention for details.

    Food was pretty good. Risotto very good. Bolognese wasn’t the best, very sour cheese cake/passion fruit. Had a birthday special occasion, requested a candle for dessert. Didn’t receive. Was pretty disappointed, for the price we paid and what I tipped, that we couldn’t get any of my requests made. The one hostess did ask who’s birthday it was, and said happy birthday to my girlfriend which was very nice. But a candle of some sort would have been nice. I’ve seen in previous pictures of candles, so it isn’t like it’s unheard of

    This restaurant deserves a Michelin star. The service is outstanding. The staff, including the manager and owner, always go out of their way to personally greet their customers. The food is outstanding and the servers are well very trained and go out of their way to make your experience enjoyable. I especially appreciate the small stools offered at tables to keep your handbags.

    What a wonderful surprise. Travelling on business and looking for something up-scale for a client meeting, I thought I would try Via Allegro based on reviews. Absolutely everything was beyond expectations; mine, my colleague's and my client's. I highly recommend Via Allegro for those special occasions where you want to treat your client, your spouse, your friends and even yourself. The only thing I didn't try was the wine bible; a monstrous tome beyond my level of expertise. We let our waiter suggest a nice wine offer instead and it was spot on.

    Great selection of wines by half bottles. Great food. The service was a little slow. 30 min passed before I had a glass of wine. Little noisy, but overall tolerable.

    This is an impeccable Italian eatery. It has the finest italian ingredients and guidelines, followed by a creative chef. I have eaten in every city in Italy and via is now my goto. Nicely done.

    Celebrating a special birthday deserves a special restaurant like this. Service and food make the mark of an excellent restaurant and Via Allegro was number 1 in both aspects. Our servers today were thoughtful helpful friendly patient and knowledgeable. The food was beautiful to look at and a delight to eat. But it was also all the little things that they did like the sorbetto between primi and secondo dishes, the celebratory lemonecello and slivers of “thank pistachio fudge”. Was it expensive? Considering todays economic situation. Maybe ? But everything is expensive these days. It’s a fine dining experience that you won’t forget. Highly recommend for a special occasion or to share with someone special. Thank you to the staff at Via Allegro for a wonderful day.

    This was our first time here and we were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was very nice and the staff was so nice and helpful. The service was excellent. We had our 16month old son with us and they made us feel so comfortable and helped us with our todders needs. The food was excellent best pasta I’ve had in a long time. Would definitely recommend and we will be back for sure.
