    This place is so beautifully decorated and the new chairs are so comfy. Service is so great. All the food we ordered was so delicious and beautifully presented. We went there to meet in laws to be and it could have been awkward but I think this place made it easier with great atmosphere and service and food. Thanks. We will definitely go there again for a special occasion. It was a little bit pricy but totally worth it.

    My friends & I had such a great dinner at Via Allegro last night. The food was incredible & service was impeccable. A special shout out to our server, Arthur who was excellent! The ambience in the new back patio was perfect. The new menu is full of bright and vibrant items. Some of my favourites were the fresh endive salad and tuna tartar as well as the short rib agnolotti and lamb. Thanks for a great night and we will certainly be back!

    Have been dining at Via Allegro for years but my first time dining on their new covered patio which was absolutely stunning, beautiful and very zen!!! The Dodd is always amazing but to dine outside in such a magical environment was truly an amazing experience - has to be one of the top toronto patios - can’t wait to go back

    Great food, this was our first time trying the new menu and we decided on pizza and an assortment of apps and shareables instead of mains and every dish was great. Service was great till we said no to dessert then it took over 30 minutes to get the bill.

    A wonderful meal and fantastic service. It was lovely seeing Mohamad and how he has improved an already great restaurant. Our servers were top notch and the food was better than ever. The calamari was so tasty and I had the lamb chops which were cooked perfectly. Now that I know there is new owner that is one of the cities great philanthropist I will support this restaurant on a regular basis.

    Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant. If you have the pleasure to meet Mohamed and Alex they will introduce you to hospitality and service that is unmatched from any other restaurant you’ve been to. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Absolutely the best meals we had in awhile, Highly recommend!

    Lovely dinner with family to celebrate Mothers day. EXCELLENT service - all the tables had multiple waiters, the food came out promptly. A little loud with the violin. Food was great.

    We have not been here for several years and were really looking forward to a nice dinner out with good friends. The pre-dinner cocktails were served promptly, but the service was poor after that. The white wine was not cold, so the waiter put it on ice, and was gone for quite a while until we flagged him down to serve both the red and white wines we had ordered. The appetizers were good (Caesar salad, grilled octopus and beef tartare). The entrees my husband and I ordered were specific as to how we like it prepared - tuna rare and beef tenderloin medium rare - both arrived over-cooked. Our friends dinners were both fine, so they ate alone while our dinners were sent back. We got our meals 30 minutes later - after our friends were already done their meal. The wine glasses were not refilled unless we asked during the meal. The bill for our dinner for four was $691 + tip - this was after the tuna and beef tenderloin meals were taken off the bill. While we have no issue with paying for a good meal and accompanying service, this was a beyond disappointing experience. We would not be in a hurry to repeat this dining experience nor recommend it to anyone.

    Hello all . Just taking this time to thank you all for a wonderful culinary experience we had tonight, as usual Chef Claudio never fails us!!! Your restaurant was a visual feast for us all, we will have to check out the patio next time we meet again. Then came the menue!! Just wow. I Absolutely loved the Scallop Crudo as a starter along with the Sea Bass. The four of us ended up sharing each other's dish as it all looked and was delish. It was an honor to meet Mr. Mohamad and his well oiled well informed crew. The wine selection was amazing but I was greatly impressed with Mr. Jessie's knowledge of the finest scotch and TEQUILA, I would highly recommend to visit their beautiful bar after dinner.     One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Food was exquisite (the short rib pasta was to die for), but the best thing about the place was the service. Professional servers taking fine dining to perfection that you just don’t see anymore. Kudos to Jesse, the manager who takes great pride in his staff and creating a wonderful experience for their guests. Can’t wait to go back!

    It was absolutely wonderful. Definitely going back there again. The truffle mushroom risotto is a must and the calamari. We also had the Beef Tagliatelle and pizza, also very good.

    Well probably read my first review of this place and how my date stood me up this time was much better my date loved the place and they have added a few items to the menu here for the summer we chose the new seafood plate it was absolutely fantastic delicious lobster,crab,shrimp,scallops and clams in a piping hot bowl of delicious butter it was the talk of our night with friends after and can’t wait to go and try this again and Jesse I really enjoyed the restaurant the company and all the staff there truly a date to remember

    Wow! Everything was delicious! It was their first night launching a brand new menu! Everything was just perfect. From hot focaccia to a whipped lemon ricotta for the focaccia! Just YUM!! The meal was perfect! Really enjoyed the espresso martini as well. You will love Via Allegro!

    Overall the food was very very good. Plus they have a good selection of nonalcoholic wines and drinks. Menu is good. A little limited at this time. A few more main dishes would be great.
