Always the best UES Italian Restaurant.
Wonderful Italian restaurant in Carnegie Hill. Great food, service and wine selection in upscale setting.
Excellent food, amazing service and good value
All around wonderful experience. Exactly what your want from a beautiful restaurant with delicious food and great service.
Great place. Ambiance is perfect: not noisy, nice candlelit tables, just right for a date. Service is friendly and not overwhelming. And food offerings are ideal and all tasty. We had grilled octopus and polenta and zucchini appetizers. Mushroom pasta. Wine selections also well thought out. Highly recommend this restaurant. Glen
Excellent carpaccio of octopus. Everything was delicious. Service thoughtful. Enjoyed sitting under the “wisteria” arbor. Not just a table on the sidewalk.
Great dinner, starting with a first rate martini! My guest greatly enjoyed his meal as well. Lovely evening.
Crazy expensive appetizers and drinks. Never paid that much anywhere. I know that prices are rising but this was outrageous. Tried to order moderate priced dinners ( chicken balsamic) and my husband and I were quite disappointed. This was not like our previous meals there…. Very disappointing especially since we brought friends for the 1st time
Great food and service... a great oasis on Madison Ave.
This place was the most busy to most mediocre ratio restaurant I’ve ever been to.
I couldn’t believe it.
You’d think the place had stellar food the way people were clamoring to get in. All snooty UWS’ers. Thought they had better taste.
From app to entree to dessert. All were mediocre at best.
Desserts were actually atrocious. Tasted like they were sitting in a fridge for a month…pre-sliced.
Service was excellent, however.
Absolutely love this local restaurant always delicious and fun crowd and excellent service
It was lunch with friends
Food excellent though pricey. Same for wine by the glass.
Though there is seemingly enough staff, the service felt a bit slow and quite impersonal.
First time patrons and iffy about returning.
Food and service were great, though the prices were unusually high for some pasta. It was nice to try but not sure I would return since there are other very good Italian restaurants in the neighborhood that are great and aren’t as expensive. But it was a nice evening.
Very nice Upper East local with lots of locals, relaxed and delicious. Would definitely return.
Excellent service… menu is inventive & classic. Pea soup, fig salad all the pasta s are sensational!
Excellent food and service. Pleasant outdoor dining.
The only problem was the outdoor part was not very well ventilated or open. It might have been safer eating inside. But swordfish with lentils was delicious! They also should ask before they remove the breadplate.
Beautiful place with wonderful servers and delicious food. What else could I say? Love it!!
Exceptional service and delicious, well-presented dishes.
Great food. Fantastic service. Wonderful ambience. Not cheap.
The service was very good as was the setting. However the cost was high for small portions.
Excellently prepared northern Italian cuisine. Very good wine list and a full bar.
Service and food delightful, as was outdoor seating.
The food is excellent. The service is attentive, but it was slow; however, they were also very apologetic and gave us a nice dessert to make up for the delay. We will definitely go back and recommended it for anybody in the neighborhood.
Amateur level Italian food at haute cuisine prices. Thrown together tiny artichoke salad, overcooked & over sauced squid ink pasta, and overcooked branzino made for a particularly unpleasant experience when combined with high prices and a 3% recovery surcharge.
Lovely neighborhood spot. The menu was expansive with lots of great options. We were four and we all enjoyed every course. Service was attentive but not intrusive. The ambiance for an outdoor space was very comfortable. It was my BD so I had a sweet HBD rendition by the staff. We would absolutely return and recommend 😊
The food is outstanding! So fresh. Prepared perfectly!
Unfortunately there was a large table of very happy young ladies right next to us in the outdoors structure and thanks to the very helpful maîtresse d hotel, we were able to move jjust before our first course. So the evening was saved and our conversation pleasant.
Overall was very good.
Lunch was excellent. Very pleasant waiter Victor
We had a party of 12. We were given a nice table outside. Superb!
Chris was very helpful. Expensive but the ambiance is very nice specially outside.
The food is terrible, overcooked, under seasoned, large portions being given to compensate for the awful quality. And the prices are stratospheric. In terms of value for money, a big zero.
The dining experience was great and the food was very tasteful.
Great food, Fantastic Service!! Love their Market next door.
Excellent! Food and service.
The food and waitstaff are amazing. We love Matilda she is the best!
The perfect spot to dine alfresco. Professional staff in the kitchen and attending to the tables. Great menu. Freshly prepared Italian specialties. Always delicious.
It was a nice evening. Good was very good but a bit expensive.
