Birthday celebration was okay been here before but this time seemed okay
Great service and amazing food. One of our fav places!
The food was superb. I wasn’t able to get the reservation when I wanted around 7 but I took 9:30pm. We arrived early and went across the Parq for drinks at D6. The atmosphere was wonderful relaxing and the cocktails were on point. We went over to Victor at 9:15 and got a nice window seat overlooking the water and Vancouver Harbor The lobster and crab bisque fresh rich yet light and crab cake was moist and meaty and beautifully presented started an epic experience I ordered the whole Branzino which was fried, I usually prefer it steamed but it was crisp and well flavored and My Man had lamb and was quite pleased ~ As it was my birthday we of course had to indulge and our waiter added candles and made it special. Overall I loved everything. Wish it was in Minneapolis but whenever I visit Vancouver I will definitely go back
We had high hopes for the Victor, the server was nice but couldnt really recommend us good food in general, we asked alot about different foods and he couldnt really share what were popular dishes, etc not too sure if he has even tried the food here. It took us a long time to decide our entrees as we didnt have any soulshare or anything from the server. We were quite disapointed with the sushi recommendation he gave us. For entrees I got the Seafood mix, and my friend the surf and turf. So overpriced for an entree that almost had no taste to it, the ambience is beautiful, host were really nice and wine was good.
We came to celebrate a family birthday. Having been a couple times before,
Great place for special events such as anniversaries or birthdays. The view is amazing. We got the tomahawk steak and 2 other steaks shared between 5 people. We like our steaks rare but for the tomahawk I was recommended to get medium-rare. It was over cooked to medium-well. I didn’t send it back because it took almost an hour for the food and it’ll be another hour to cook a new tomahawk while we were hungry.
came here for our wedding anniversary. decided to eat dt cause we were going to a show. setting is beautiful especially at night. food was good but not outstanding. appy portions are super small and less than the size of tapas, definitely not worth the price. the entree portions are fair sized and priced accordingly for a steakhouse. service was on point and we never had to wait long for anything. id recommend it if you were dt but not a place id likely go to again.
The shrimp tempura was amazing, the porterhouse was tender, and the mashed potatoes was one of the best I’ve had. Matthew was great and attentive.
Friendly services, good recommendations for food and drinks. Always make sure you get additional attention for what you pay for. Highly recommended
We had really enjoyed our previous experience at The Victor, but this time the atmosphere really let it down.
A few large tables, especially one 30+ group, were very loud. We were seated quite near the large group and they were very loud between their tables, and also had a powerpoint presentation that was directly in front of the washrooms which was inconvenient too.
I have been to The Victor 3 times now and this time was by far my favorite. From the moment we walked in, we was graciously greeted and asked which side of the restaurant we prefer - lounge or restaurant. We dined at a later time so we had more flexibility. We sat in the lounge at a cozy table with a couch and pillows.
I wish I could remember my servers name because he was fantastic. Everyone I interacted with were very warm, welcoming and friendly.
We shared the whipped burrata and mac and cheese waffles for our cheat meal date night and both dishes were amazing. Thank you for a great time, we will be back.
This restaurant is a must try as a new destination. Merely getting to the restaurant is a visual treat, as you take in the roof-top patio with water features, surrounded by the downtown skyline and architecture of BC Place. The choice of food options is fantastic. My mother said the salmon entree was the best she ever tasted, my sushi from the raw bar was extremely fresh & delicious and the Creme Brulee Donuts are unique and photo-worthy. Note, however, that this is not a restaurant for quiet conversation, as the design does little to dampen the energetic vibe. Our server was fantastic in explaining various menu items and offering up suggestions. 'Service' would have received 5 stars, had it not taken an extraordinary amount of time to get our bill.
15 yr wedding anniversary dinner. Christopher our waiter was fantastic. The food was amazing. Would recommend highly.
Celebration life miracles
The food was fantastic and the service was super friendly and professional.
Great atmosphere, very good food - though expect to pay for it-innovative cocktails and a great server !
I'm not sure what atmosphere the Victor is going for. The food was good, the restaurant looks good but the atmosphere was a bit boring.
Best steak I’ve ever had! (28oz Porterhouse) Was a bit too loud because of the pride week events going on directly outside but other than that a great experience. Wish we had a window seat though as we told the girls at the front it was our 10 year Wedding Anniversary and they told us they’d get us a really good table. Oh well, next time.
First impressions: we were made to feel important throughout our dining experience! Our server, Matthew C. was both professional and courteous. He was part of a cohesive and efficient team that serviced our table with equal precision. Very impressive! We enjoyed the delightful Pride set menu with the ribeye entree cooked exactly to our preferences. When the creative Pride rainbow cake for two arrived it was a real showstopper and nicely sensed by a waiter that we wanted a photo of us with the cake.
Disappointing not to have received any goodbye greeting from the hostesses at the door. Also being our first time dining at the Victor we thought finding our way from the Smithe Street entrance to the restaurant was confusing as we saw no signs. Thankfully the charming fellow at the top of the casino escalator showed us the way.
We went to Victor for our anniversary. Unfortunately we didn't have a good experience at this restaurant. The service was good and the ambiance was nice but the food is below average. We ordered sushi for appetizer which was fresh but the taste was not comparable to other fancy sushi restaurants like Miku or Minami. For the main course we ordered steak and it was the worst steak we have ever tried anywhere. The meat was cold when they brought to our table and there was no flavour and the taste was awful. My husband had only two bites and unfortunately the whole thing was a waste. The mashed potatoes were so buttery and so heavy! We told the manager and he offered to bring salt and pepper! But salt and pepper doesn't make the meet hot and juicy! We would never go back to this restaurant as I don't want to waste the food and money!
I definitely would return to try more dishes. The steak was done to perfection and the mashed potatoes dish was just delicious.
Service was well-timed and friendly, Mathieu, our waiter was outstanding!
Great selection of steak
I'd come more for drinks and appis than for dinner. Though the food was nice, steak tender and juicy, it was overpriced as the serving sizes were so big that we couldn't finish the meal. The shrimp tempura was amazing! Also, I am super disappointed that there was no acknowledgement of our anniversary, which I put into the notes for our reservation. In other years, we have received a hand written note from the chef at restaurants thanking us for spending our special day with them. Something as simple as that would go a long way.
Amazing ambiance and service. In particular, our server Rio provided an amazing experience for my wife and I and made it an unforgettable night. He truly made us feel welcome and was very helpful with the menu. He also made an excellent wine pairing which just added to the already good food. We loved the ambiance and it is definitely a place to people watch!
Fabulous food, service and value for money. We would definitely recommend the Victor and will be returning for sure
My husband and I went to Victor for our 6th Year Wedding Anniversary on Saturday and wow did they ever take amazing care of us! The food at this restaurant was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent even though they were packed. We both had the Rib Cap Steak and as well as almost every side they offer and everything was just so perfectly seasoned and tasty. Oh my goodness those mashed potatoes and mixed mushrooms were good! They gave us complimentary champagne and really made us feel special. The pace was just perfect they really gave us time to enjoy each other, the food and our special night. Highly recommended!
Came here for my girlfriends birthday dinner , came excited because i had a great time for brunch last year . Unfortunately we both left extremely disappointed .
Service was terrible and not up to par for an “high-end restaurant “ . Took over 30mins for my water glass to be filled . Had a fly in my girlfriends drink waited 15mins for a replacement .
Amazing service, food, drinks, atmosphere. the patio is fantastic and the vibe is great
The service, food and drinks was outstanding, super satisfied with the whole experience
The moment we walked in the hostess asked if this was our first time eating, it was my first time and my wife’s second. They immediately welcomed my wife back and thanked her for bringing a new guest. The restaurant had a great layout, perfect for a summer dinner. Lots of open space and fresh air with beautiful views.
Matthew was our server and he was excellent. Gave us great recommendations on steak and wine selection. We ordered the crab cakes, striploin, petite filet mignon, mashed potatoes and Mac n cheese waffles. Everything was amazing, and the Mac n cheese waffles were a game changer. I would definitely recommend trying it.
Matthew would refill our waters consistently without us asking and at the end of the meal, he even asked if we wanted the bill split. Usually for higher end steakhouses they would never ask that, and I appreciate him asking in such a casual way. It was a great experience, and the Victor definitely made it to my top list of restaurants in Vancouver from this one visit.
Our group of 5 had a fantastic enjoyable evening.
We were all very impressed with the food the service the ambiance.
Jeffrey was amazing!! He was so attentive, funny and personable!! Great time
Celebrated my friend's birthday. Excellent food and Excellent service. I'll be back again. O
Awesome dinner with my friends. Great food, patio and atmosphere! Every time I’m in Victor, I feel like I’m in modern brand new city.
Great service and food, on a beautiful patio.
I had the steak and Alaskan crab , the wine was fantastic any the waiter was excellent.

This is a beautiful restaurant that has so much to offer, from meat to seafood to sushi, all is done with great style and care. It was my wife's birthday and they couldn't have been more accommodating.
Our first time dine at The Victor. It was exactly what we were looking for before attending a concert at Rogers Arena.
From the moment we arrived we were treated with smiles and enthusiasm for our evening. Our table was perfect. The noise level was nonexistent so easy to converse.
Our waiter Ken was helpful in choosing our wine. The menu was great value $49.00 for delicious sushi appetizer. We chose the ribeye for our main and it was melt in your mouth delicious. Dessert was a sumptuous chocolate mousse. Can’t say enough good things about this restaurant and the service

We look forward to welcoming you back to The Victor and Parq Vancouver soon. Warmest Regards, Emily Davis Community Relations
Thank you to our waiter Leo for helping us celebrate our anniversary with a wonderful dinner! Service and food was excellent. Our view of False Creek was appreciated too.
Despite asking a day before for an intimate table suitable for a date, we were offered a booth facing the busiest and loudest service station in the restaurant! We were given a different table upon requesting s change. Not impressed!
It was also surprising to see that Victor’s steak prices have gone up by ~30-40% !! And when I asked why my favourite side (Brussels sprouts) was no longer on the menu, our waiter’s answer was because the ingredients became too expensive!
