    Outstanding brunch! The food was so well prepared, the flat iron wagyu was full of flavour and very tender. The Shakshuka was delicious! Bob, our server, was the perfect host and we loved the mimosa cart! Can’t wait to go back!

    The first server was HORRIBLE and didn’t tend to our needs whatsoever, did not check on us when drinks were done, I didn’t like my drink (which wasn’t his fault to be fair) but he didn’t offer an alternative. Our food took an hour to even come with no updates and our waters weren’t even refilled. When i expressed my disappointment in our service, he deferred to his manager (which i didn’t want to get involved) instead of taking accountability or giving some type of excuse. However, that manager got rid of this excuse of a server and got us a better one who tended to our needs made sure we had a good experience. Because this is what you pay for. Experience.

    For $85/person. the selection for the brunch buffet was very little. More options for that price. Wouldn’t eat that again. $750 for 6 adults. Do better

    The service was amazing! Food was great but we found the steak was cold. Music was awesome and the theme was fun but it was super loud and could be a little difficult to have a conversation during meal. We did enjoy this experience and will most likely do it again in the future.

    Amazing experience! We sat yesterday at the bar and were well taken care of. All the food we had was delicious! And the cocktail Impresario is a must. I will definitely be coming back.

    Our experience at The Victor was quite underwhelming. We had been seeing rave reviews on social media and now suspect those were all by paid influencers? We specifically went to try their porterhouse steak and for a restaurant that introduces themselves as a steakhouse, they did not know how to cook the cut. We asked for medium rare and it was BLUE. It was presented on a stone that wasn’t even hot? When we asked to get it cooked further to the temperature we requested, they took it back and after about 10-15 minutes it came back and was barely cooked further. The restaurant comped the side dishes that we ordered (and ate without steak because we were starving) and brought additional of the two but we really did not need two extra plates of the same sides.. perhaps a different appetizer would’ve been a better choice but what we really needed was for our $155 steak cooked properly. We also found it odd that the waiter kept pushing the sushi on us when we were clearly there for a steak dinner. Service was friendly but extremely slow. Needless to say we went elsewhere for dessert because we just wanted to get out of there. Very disappointed.

    Eugene was fantastic! Everything came out in a timely manner and we were very touched by the complimentary champagne for our anniversary. Very special night and great dinner.

    Had a great brunch with two friends. The restaurant is beautiful inside and outside. Situated in the 6th floor of PARQ attached to the JW Marriott. There is an outdoor water garden with a view of BC Place. Interior decor is very tasteful and classy. Onto the food was there for brunch and chose the Steak and Eggs Dianne from their menu. A classy take on simple eggs and steak. The steak was very delicious, I'm not usually a steak person, it was cooked to perfection at medium well-done still very tender, eggs were also medium but was still partially runny accompanied by smashed roasted nugget potatoes and a very large deep fried onion ring that was sweet and crunchy. I definitely recommend trying out a brunch from here the ambiance was quiet and the waterview from our seats were very nice, also of course the food was excellent tasty, good portion and well seasoned. Will definitely come back again maybe for dinner next time.

    We always love eating at The Victor. Haven't had a bad experience to date. Bob our server was amazing. Really went above and beyond to accommodate the needs of our pregnant friend. Thanks!

    Food wasn’t that great when compared to other high end places. Steak was cold and service was slow. Our cocktails came after our appetizer, then it took forever to get our mains. They sat us at a terrible table when other nice tables were available. Won’t go back.

    The service was good but at some point, the server was too pushy with getting drinks. We mentioned that we weren’t going to get anything but she still kept asking. Otherwise, she was good. The vibe has changed over the years here such as the music selection. At one point, it would be jazz then it’s pop then goes back to jazz then to really energetic music then goes back to mellow. It gives a radio music vibe which defeats the purpose of having a fine dining. It almost seemed like cactus or earls. Taste of the food would be 2.5/5, we ordered a medium rare porterhouse but it was close to medium well and the side of broccolini, it was overcooked. It says grilled but it was so mushy so we barely touched it. The highlight of the food was the bread and butter they give, that was the only thing that was good out of all the 7 things we ordered. It wasn’t honestly worth the price what we paid for our mea.

    Absolutely amazing place! From the drinks to appetizers, to the entrees. My husbands lamb shank was delicious but as he got to the bone the meat was cold, we asked to have it warmed, they brought him a brand new one. That one was perfect and he proceeded to eat it all. Our server was happy, funny and knowledgeable of all the wines. Our dessert was given to us for free. The best Basque cheese cake I’ve tried so far. A really good spot to enjoy a very lovely meal! Will love to try it in the summer months.

    Food was overpriced for portion size. Mixed up food order and gave a steak sushi roll to a pescatarian Drinks had sticky stuff all over the outside of the glass and when we asked they said “yeah it’s a new drink and everyone complains about that” but yet they still do it? 2/5
