   Ｗe went to Victor for the Vancouver Dine-out festival, the set was $65/person. We started with aburi salmon and lobster & crab bisque. Both appies are generous in portion and bursting with flavour. We had the Diane Steak for entrees; the steak was thick and well-cooked for medium and medium rare. The dessert was indulgent but not overly sweet. The server was attentive and friendly. Overall, Victor was exceptional even during dine-out. I highly recommend people to try the Victor. They were detail-oriented and provided outstanding quality food, and excellent service. I would go back for regular dining!

   Overall average experience. Our table of 8 were all seated by 545pm ordered at 6pm but did not receive our entrees until 730pm. We were seated for a total of 3 hours and were getting annoyed by the end. The servers were friendly but seemed flustered by the busyness. Locations and views were incredible. Good tasting food (steak & sushi) but small portions and the majority of us agreed overpriced, especially the drinks. It was an overall average experience, glad we went but wouldn’t go back.

   Unfortunately the kitchen was so behind that we had to wait for each course for more than half an hour. The appetizer and dessert were excellent and the main course was average.

   When I walked in, the candy station was semi empty, but the decor inside was very nice. My reso was for 1.30pm, but I didn't get sat until 1.50ish. I stood around waiting and went to grab some left over candy but there was no plates so I had to ask the hostess for some and she said she couldn't leave the stand so I'll just have to wait. We got sat right by the furnace heater, which was extremely hot. I asked for it to be turned off and it was for a minute but the table across us (further away from the heater) kept asking for it to be turned on. I asked to be moved to a different table and was told no. My friend and I were so hot during our whole experience, and it wasnt comfortable. The waffles were delicious, Ceasars were a great concept BYO. Our main dishes took over 1 hour and 25 minutes to be brought out. Our server kept apologizing and telling us it was coming. Because we had to wait so long, we asked for our desserts to go because you guys were closing and I had another engagement at 5pm. I asked for my steak to be medium, it came out well done and was extremely hard to cut. I honestly expexted a better experience for what we paid and for the reputation and brand you represent. All in all, it was okay. We did have to wait almost 10 minutes for our server to even welcome us and give us water after being sat, but his service improved throughout the dinning experience and he was more attentive after after being short with us at first.

   Hands down the worst dining experience I've ever had. Service was extremely slow, and the food, once received, was either under or overcooked. For a brunch reservation, our drink order wasn't taken until 45 minutes after we sat down, and the entire process of eating took upwards of 2.5 hours. Our server also made some strange comments about the quantity of food we were eating. Specifically saying "wow, you must be really hungry - I couldn't ever eat all of that in one sitting". After voicing our concerns to our server, they offered to bring the manager over to our table, who never showed up. Overall, this was an extremely unpleasant dining experience and I wouldn't recommend The Victor to anyone.

    Service was unfortunately quite poor. Although the servers were quite nice the service was extremely slow to the point where we had lost interest and wanted to leave. The food was not great and could be much better. Not a place I would ever go back to

    The ambience was lovely & enjoyed the Dine Out Vancouver preset brunch menu. I returned my Bananas Foster French Toast because it was raw inside. They brought me a new order but my party had almost finished their meals. They should have comped my meal or at the very least given a discount.

    Meal was great ! Did off the menu and dine out Vancouver. Good value for the dine out menu. They did forget the bacon in our bacon and eggs . The manager made a sad attempt at an apology not very authentic or friendly in his approach or demeanour. Our waiter was a great guy served us well and checked in on us multiple times throughout the meal and cleared plates quickly. Ps. The Pomegranate/Raspberry mimosa is yummy

    It was my bday dinner and our server was absolute trash. He did great with smile, he was very rude, telling us to hurry up cause he had other tables. Didn’t get our orders correct. Appetizers came out after our mains. It was just a mess, he was so rude and I just don’t understand why we deserved that.

    Was here for my birthday with 7 other people. Sadly had 2 tables of about 8 guys each sit beside us. They were loud , stood up most of the night, walked around socializing… like it was a bar instead of a restaurant. Obnoxious. Food was good, service was great , drinks were good. Prices are high. Restaurant itself was very nice, nice decor but very loud.

    Portions of food for dine out Vancouver were rather small. We had to stop for another quick snack before heading to our show. Staff was great but the clientele was rather rude which is expected at a high end restaurant

    Outstanding experience. Could not say even a slightly negative thing about the food. Everything came out bang on. The wait staff were all super friendly and attentive. Service was prompt. Worth every penny. This was probably my fifth time dining here, and it will certainly not be my last! Can’t get enough of the Victor.

    All was perfect until a woman with a loud microphone started talking and later on, singing, in a section of the restaurant. I think they were celebrating Chinese New Year. Our young server was so good, professional! We'll be back to experience the restaurant later on in the year ... when there's no special celebration!

    I go there from time to time. I notice this time when I got the bill, the server didn’t allow me to change the tips, it’s already set to 20%. Honestly the the food & service is only alright for the price, not bad but definitely not good, definitely not worth $60tips for 2 people

    I was very disappointed where my table was set up, right buy the cash register with the consistent waitresses and waiters behind me. It was my birthday and in every photos I had a screen and people beside us and had to patiently had to wait for them to move. It was extremely loud when they were communicating. I was also far upset that we had a very low table.

    Food was outstanding. I love lamb and the lamb duo was so tasty and could easily be shared by two. Our server, Christian, pointed out the favourites on the menu was helpful. Loved the ambiance. Would go again.

    Was first time here. Nice ambience in the bar/lounge area. Group of mid twenty something girls party came in next to us and took over with loud and annoying screaming partying etc. basically ruined the overall experience. Not sure why the staff didn’t address it. Perhaps that’s the crowd they like to serve? Likely won’t be back.

    I went for my birthday excited to try this place for the first time. I ordered a rib eye thinking it would have great marble and flavour. I asked for my steak medium. That was the toughest piece of merat I’ve eaten in a long time. I actually had to apply force to cut my steak and it had a red pinkish centre.
