    What a special tea and even nicer being around Christmas with the beautiful decorations and the "Nutcracker Tea". Service was excellent & food amazing. We enjoyed ourselves so much...it will become an annual tradition for the holidays.

    This was my 4th time havibg high tea here over the course of a few years. I was disappointed with the quality of food this visit. Sandwhiiches tasted as though they were made a few days prior & refridgerated. Desserts were ok but did not have the freshness I've experienced before. Service was very good. Being the holidays it would have been nice to have quiet festive music in the background.

    The tea was good. That’s the nicest thing I can say. The sandwiches were stale and bland. The scones were under baked so doughy in the middle. The service was awful. We didn’t get water or anyone’s attention while tables seated after us were served. Refilling the tea water took 4 tries. Staff kept saying they would do it but did not. Same when we asked for the check. The room is uninteresting with little atmosphere. There are three tables in the lobby. Those might be a better choice. For $80 per person, I would try somewhere else.

    This cafe was located inside the Omni King Edwards, a great venue with history. Food was fresh and good. You can choose one choice for tea per person. You can choose vegetarian or meat sandwiches. The meat were delicious, beef, salmon, egg and the most delicious fruit sandwich I've ever had. The scones were my favorite. Service was above and beyond. There was a bit of delay in being seated, but not too bad. Getting to the location can be a challenge right now due to construction downtown.

    The food was lovely. The water for the tea was lukewarm --- I had been looking forward to a nice, hot cup of tea. Service was great --- since we were celebrating joint birthdays, our serving tray was delivered with Happy Birthday written on it, along with two strawberries with candles. Wonderful touch!

    Excellent! Booked Tea for my moms birthday. They were so nice and accommodating. They even took note of my message that I left, and wrote “Happy Birthday Mom” on her plate, with a candle lit and sang for us. Food was delicious. And we were in and out in an hour. Such a beautiful experience. Especially since it was my first time having high tea. I would definitely come back.

    Had a great time with my mom. It was very organized and the service was great. We were actually quite full by the end and had to take some pastries home! Perfect amount though. And the tea was delicious

    The Omni is a beautiful, perfectly appointed hotel. However, it suffers from the same food woes as hotels sometimes do. The breakfast menu is impressive but disappoints in presentation, taste, and value. I have had better fare in far less prestigious spots and surprised that BOTH quality and quantity were lacking in my meal. The eggs are bland. Fillings are sparce. Cheese, invisible. The rosti simply inedible it is so dry. Even the toast is not....toasted. The coffee, which could have redeemed the meal, is simply subpar. Service and setting were outstanding. The staff try hard.

    There were some very tasty treats like the rarebit and the pumpkin madeline with chocolate but the sandwiches were not as elevated as their write ups might lead you to believe. On the savory side especially, the Victoria could up their game a touch to make the $75 you pay feel slightly more worthwhile.

    Food was ok… scones mediocre at best … waiter was intrusive for the wrong reasons (ie he kept interrupting us to ask if all was ok ) and inattentive on important matters - like refilling water for tea bringing side plates etc

    My grandaughter and I had a lovely tea on Sunday. The food and service ere perfect. There seemed to be a little confusion about our reservation but it was resolved.

    My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here with high tea. The tea selection is very nice withany high quality options. We had the King Edward house blend and the Jasmine Snow Dragon green tea by Sloan. Both were excellent quality. The savoury course came with delicious sandwiches that were perfectly prepared and served. The smoked salmon on a cream bun was the most delicious smoked salmon I have eaten in recent memory. The scones were nice. The lemon cream and jam compliment the scones perfectly. I have to note they gave a little jar of Greaves strawberry jam from Niagara on the Lake. I grew up in Niagara and this is the best jam made there. There is pectin in it and the flavour is juicy and rich and the texture perfect. The petit fours were seasonal autumn offerings. Perfect! Another strong point if the meal was the service was excellent. The maitre d gave us our choice of table. Our server Hector was friendly, welcoming and attentive. He was knowledgeable in the different types of tea on offer and explained all the different courses that came. Hector told us the optimal brew time length for our tea and made sure our glasses were always filled. He also packaged the sweets we couldn't finish tableside with care. Chef Wong was passing by our table and noticed that the plate on the top tier of our high tea service was backwards. There was a message written in icing on our plate and the message was facing away at the back and was apologetic and rotated the plate correctly. Hector has presented the plate correctly with the message facing us, but I had rotated it at some point to take one of the sweets of the top tier. For me, if staff notice small details like that then I know I am in good hands. Very minor: the dining room is very dated; not in old world charm but very 1980s. I wish the tea pots weren't plain typical white pots. Not a huge deal but I would have liked an ornate pot that matched the cup and saucer like at the Windsor Arms. Recommended!

    Hadn’t been to Victoria Cafe for a few years, and found that the overall quality had gone down. Though said, the service remained very good. Food wise, the finer details were lacking, but the teas were great.

    I took my wife for her birthday and we had a wonderful experience. I booked it the day before and called and left a message about my wife's dietary restrictions, and they modified the menu on short notice. The service was excellent and very courteous. They also sang her Happy Birthday, which wasn't expected but much appreciated. The tea selection was excellent, and the food was delicious.

    We came here to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary at the King Edward hotel but nothing was done to make it extra special :( I thought at the minimum they could have congratulated us. Other than that, staff was very nice and friendly. Food was delicious. It just felt like an “everyday” treatment very a very special and meaningful day to my husband and I.

    Went for afternoon tea and the service, food and tea were great. Portions were larger than expected; we brought leftovers home. The wait staff noticed the birthday tag on the reservation and even wrote a nice note and give some extra pastries.

    So lovely. I am gluten-free and let the staff know prior to my visit. They had a special plate or yummy finger sandwiches for me and a stack of wonderful sweets. It felt so special and I was so happy. I'm used to not getting what other eaters are served and having to work around a menu. This was just such a special and lovely service. Thank you.

    I can’t say enough good things about this place!! The server was so kind I wish I asked his name, he was so attentive and seemed like such a great person. The food was a good value for the price, and for such a high end place the price was amazing ($65 for 2 meals, and 2 bottomless fresh pressed orange juice) Everything was great and I can’t wait to come back
