   Impeccable service. The food was well cooked and tasted amazing. Even though you don't have to, I suggest you dress up a bit to keep with the integrity of the restaurant. Overall we had a great night out!

   Our server was funny and engaging. My favorite of what we ordered was the lobster bisque! I think this place is something one should experience while in Victoria.

    At first I wasn’t sure about the waiter. I asked him his name which seemed to offend him but after a bit he settled in. My Uncle is disabled and they were amazing at trying to accommodate us with an accessible table. I had the halibut and it was perfect. I would recommend eating there.

    We were 3 couples to for a nice quiet dinner . We were seated at a table in the corner with windows and a peek view of the harbour. Our server was James...serving us with a very quiet demeanour, yet very humorous. He respected our desire for a long evening with friends and new exactly when to attend our table. He was excellent and made the experience that much more enjoyable. Highly recommend

    This place is just an amazing experience. The food is fantastic with very reasonable prices with probably the best waiter we have ever had. I believe his name is Bob and he has been doing this for over 50 years. He always made our table and several others laugh whenever he was at them and yet was a complete gentleman that knows everything about fine dining. Thanks for a delicious well priced steak and lobster. We will be back

    I was there on a date. They have a very good selection if desserts. I eat dessert first and have done so for over 15 years. My date had the peach melba and I had the chocolate mousse. Her lobster was cooked perfectly as was mine. I also had steak, which I wanted medium rare and was concerned that it wouldn't come that way. James (our server) assured me it would. It was wonderfully seasoned and a perfect medium rare. James was knowledgeable about house specials, wines and even a special house drink. He was attentive, he appeared just at the the right move, never had to looking or trying to get his attention.

    My main beef is that the wine prices are astronomical compared to the quality. Bottles of wine are nearly 4 times higher than the retail price in the BC liquor stores. Usually they are closer to 2 times.

    We both enjoyed our meals. We go to the Harbour House everytime we're in Victoria. James our waiter was fantastic! The thing we love is the way James quickly made a meal from one of the starter options that was not a main course on the menu. We always have enjoyed our meals at the restaurant and this trip into Victoria didn't disappoint us!

    Service was outstanding but restaurant was nearly empty so that helped with attentive service. The Halibut was good but steak and lobster was very disappointing. They were sold out of several of the wines on the menu.

    I had high hopes. I sorted by 5 star. Drink service was poor, as it took over 5 minutes to have water and tea ordered. Our waiter seemed more interested in tables of ladies. He even mentioned to one group a table away, it's because of tables like you that I've been married 3 times. Then proceeded not to check on our table. Food was just eh, and the portions were small. Where did you get that rice? Uncle Ben's? The bill was stiff for the experience. Better off somewhere else.

    Our French onion soup was cold and flavourless. The cheese wasn’t even melted. Our waiter made it right by getting us a new bowl which was hot and the cheese was melted but it still didn’t have a lot of flavour. The ambience was nice and our server was pleasant. The value for the cost of food wasn’t worth it. We won’t go back

    Coquilles St-Jacques was very soupy, the oysters rockerfeller sat on a wet cold spinach bed and the sauce was a yellow lump of ??!? My partner’s snapper was as dry as a bone. The service was awesome.

    Typically, I’d rate this experience in the « outstanding » range but service, ambience, value and overall went down a notch because of the noise level created by one table of 8 right next to us on Friday night. It was an unusual experience for us in this restaurant. The service was thus affected as well as ambience and overall value and experience. We choose this restaurant because it is generally one of the best for those of us who are hearing impaired. If only there were a way to isolate or quieten such a loud boisterous group. I missed pretty much all of the conversation at our table of 4 because I could not hear past the loud group next to us. Too bad. Was otherwise very good.

    This was our second time eating at this restaurant when visiting Victoria. We were left a bit disappointed on the sizing of the meal this time compared to before for the price. Roasted potatoes not recommended, they were bit undercooked and lacking flavor. The server did not seem impressed when asked about early dinner deal and after paying he was kind of rude when we were exiting as if he wasn't pleased with his tip.

    For once, a restaurant that is not trying to wow me with it's sleek, modern decor or preppy server with modern forced lingo I don't understand. Just great food, genuine good service and a really homey atmosphere. Don't change a thing...we'll be back!

    Staff were friendly. We had lobster tails, and halibut for entrees; they were delicious. The fresh oysters were pretty nice as well as the lobster bisque; we enjoyed the dinner!

    We expected Scampi and got ordinary Scrimp. The amount of rice provided on the plate was minimal and inadequate. There was certainly nothing very special about the meal and for what we got it was a way too expensive. We will likely never return.
