    I should have paid more attention to the reviews, which paint a very inconsistent picture of this restaurant. We were visiting Montreal for the weekend & wanted a place with ambiance and a 'special dinner' feel. We were first seated at a table next to a window that had the air conditioner blasting incredibly cold air directly down on it. So much so that the woman at the (very close) next table had to put on full jacket. We requested to change & were instead seated at a table right next to the main entrance. The ambiance wasn't great but we were happy to have been moved from the arctic table at least. It took a very long time for our server to come greet us. We asked for a drink menu & it took a long time to get it, then it took quite a while before he finally took our drink orders. Throughout the night there were long gaps between stops to our table - except after the check came - then they rushed us. I would describe the service overall as perfunctory at best, not what you expect from a restaurant that bills itself as high end. We started with French onion soup & the lobster bisque. The French onion was fine. The bisque, however, had a strange texture. It was very thick & instead of pieces of lobster, seemed to have pulverized lobster which created a gritty mouth feel. We ordered the burrata for my meal & the special strip sirloin with the shallot sauce for his. The steak was cooked very well & the mashed potatoes were good. Our server did not accurately describe the shallot sauce but was fine. Very salty, though. The burrata was an unappetizingly melted pile on top of standard sliced tomatoes with a basil puree & balsamic glaze. It badly needed some kind of seasoning, which I asked for. Even then it was so-so. Given our experience thus far, we did not order dessert. A different waiter got us the check & then stood there as my husband reviewed it. He also watched carefully as my husband added the tip (odd). Next visit we will try one of the other steakhouses.

    Had a chance to grab dinner there with my family on their outside terrasse, the ambiance was excellent it was very busy on a hot summer evening yet they had more than enough staff to delivery outstanding customer service, I ordered a fillet minion steak and it was perfectly seasoned and juicy. Overall a great experience

    My girlfriend and I weren’t floored away at the food but it was good. I had the steak frites, the sauce was good and overall taste was pleasant. It is very similar other steak places. If you’re looking for a unique steak place though, I would look elsewhere. Service was ok at best.

    The good was good. But for the price, I would hope my steak would be seared on a clean grill. There was a taste of burned carbon, it didn't ruined it, but again, for the price, it is a little bit frustrating.

    We started our anniversary dinner with drinks on the terrace, where we received some of the best service that we’ve ever had in our lives. The waitress was attentive, personable, and made a connection with us. She gave us spot on recommendations for an amazing drink. Inside, our food was delicious and fitting for a special anniversary meal the server was busy but he was trying to keep up during the rush. As expected, the prices were a bit high due to the location and the ambience, but we are very satisfied.

    Elias was a fantastic waiter! and shrimp were fantastic and the chocolate mousse cake was delicious! Reasonably priced drinks and nice patio too!
