   The food was magnificent. The server got my husband’s order wrong, so we all had our food, but my husband had to wait for it to be fixed. Which was not nice. Maybe next time write orders down when you take them. It really took away from the family dining experience.

    Nous avons eu un assez bon service (sauf qu'il a fallu courir un peu après notre serveur pour commander et pour avoir la facture), puis celui qui apportait nos assiettes ne les donnait pas aux bonnes personnes et avait aussi oublié d'apporter 2 extras que nous avions commandés (par contre, notre serveur est venu rapidement rectifier l'erreur). Les légumes que j'ai commandés en extra sont arrivés froids, je n'ai rien dit et finalement, ils n'apparaissaient pas sur la facture...c'est OK! La bavette et pommes de terre en purée étaient excellentes, mon conjoint a trouvé son steak bon, mais avec un peu de "tiraillle". Mes amis voulaient des filets-mignons avec la cuisson Chicago et ça a l'air qu'à ce resto, ils ne peuvent pas faire ça.....assez spécial pour un restaurant de steak!!! Mais bon, ils ont quand même aimé les steaks saignants qu'ils ont eus. Très plaisant la terrasse en arrière du resto. Je recommande et y retournerai sûrement.

    We had 2 rib steaks . They had to be the worst steak at a STEAK HOUSE that we ever had. The steaks were thin so they could not char them without over cooking. Meat was also dry. VERY VERY BAD. Would never go again.

    High Expectations, But Unfortunately Underwhelmed Upon reserving a table for a Mother's Day meal at the steakhouse, we were filled with anticipation, however, our experience was regrettably less than satisfactory. We had reserved a week in advance, and upon our arrival, we were ushered to a table in the middle of the second floor. We had hoped to be seated by a window for a more enjoyable dining atmosphere, but we were told those spots were reserved. This, in itself, was not an issue as we understood the need for reservations. However, during our two-hour stay, we noticed that three of the window tables remained unoccupied. It was disheartening to see the very spots we had requested remain unused throughout our meal. The food left much to be desired. The truffle in the Mac and Cheese was undetectable, the pasta was overcooked, and the portion was disappointingly small. The Lobster Linguine suffered a similar fate, with the additional $15 lobster tail tough and inedible. The Lobster Bisque, served colder than the plate, was another unfortunate miss. Despite these shortcomings, it is important to note that the service was commendable. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive. However, it was clear they were understaffed for the evening, which perhaps contributed to the lukewarm bisque and overcooked pasta. In conclusion, our Mother's Day dining experience was underwhelming, with the quality of the food and the seating arrangement not living up to our expectations. The restaurant clearly has potential, but during our visit, they fell significantly short. Here's to hoping they can improve on these issues for future diners.

    went for the Mother's Day Sunday buffet brunch - first time, wasn't sure what to expect. Found the price to be extensive for the offering. Basic breakfast items and meats. Roast beef was severely undercooked, saw a few people complaining but it wasn't resolved so people just skipped over it. Desserts were sub-par. Was all serve-yourself, which is fine, but for a higher end restaurant having some staff serving would have been preferable. Area was very loud and people all over the place. We were seated right next to the hot plates so lots of people passing by right next to our table, watching us eat while they waited in line. It was also very hot due to the proximity of the hot plates to our table. Was a fine buffet, but at $60 per person unfortunately it just did not meet my expectations. Could get the same quality for a lesser price at an everyday buffet. Would return to try a steak dinner - but definitely would not return for the brunch. Waiters were great though and overall table service was nice.

    We did not feel the quality and quantity of the food was worth the money we spent for Mother's day brunch. The buffet was not replenished regularly and offering was low cost (drumsticks vs chicken breast). Dishes at the buffet were just out of the dishwasher, still wet, but were dirty like if they were taken out before the end of the wash cycle. The service at the table was good.

    This used to be one of my favorite sunday brunch buffet before COVID. I made a reservation for the mother's day brunch (59$+txs) and, unfortunately, this place has changed for the worse. The food was not good (mashed potatoes tasted weird), the salads were very basic, they had old stale table syrup instead of maple syrup. Coffee and juices were included before, now it's 3$ and 4$ and no refills. Overall it is very disappointing. Last time I ate here I had given them 5 stars on everything.

    Avant la pandémie, j’adorais aller dans ce restaurant surtout pour le buffet qui offrait une grande variété de plats délicieux. Le personnel était très amical, accueillant et attentionné. Depuis quelques temps, j’ai remarqué pas mal de lacunes au niveau des plats (bagel brûlé, toast à l’avocat anémique, purée de pommes de terre trop salée, œufs brouillés blanchâtres et trop brassés, tartare de saumon sans goût…). Plusieurs plats ont également été retirés du buffet qui est de retour depuis peu après la pandémie. Malgré la gentillesse et le professionnalisme du personnel, j’ai attendu longtemps pour avoir ma table! J’avais pourtant fait ma réservation depuis le mois de mars! Je comprends que c’était une fin de semaine occupée puisque c’était la Fête des mères. Par contre, ce que je n’accepte pas c’est le fait que l’hôtesse a amené mes invités et moi à une table sale pour deux quand nous étions 4! Un serveur s’est empressé de venir nettoyer la table d’à côté et la coller à celle où d’autres personnes s’étaient assises auparavant! Les nouveaux couverts étaient sur la table près des ustensiles sales. C’est moi qui les a retirés pour les mettre dans un bac près de notre table comme l’hôtesse et le serveur s’étaient déjà déplacés. J’ai ensuite désinfecté mes mains et la deuxième table avec des lingettes désinfectantes que nous avions dans nos sacs à main. Tout cela m’a enlevé le goût de retourner dans cet établissement.

    Le service de Louis est toujours hors pair! De l’accueil à la table, tous le monde a le sourire! J’adore leur steak et leur côtelettes d’agneau… mais cette fois ci j’ai pris le saumon, et pour être honnête, je pourrais facilement boire leur sauce au citron! C’est un très bon restaurant dans le vieux port, avec de multiples salles et une magnifique terrasse! Ne vous posez plus de question; réservez! Vous ne serez pas déçus!

    Was seated at bar. Got a glass of wine and placed my order. Received my soup 45 min later. Waited another 30 min never received my entree. Finally the waiter comes over ask if everything was good and was I ready to pay. I told him I never got my food he acted shocked and said would you like a drink to make up for it? I declined and left. Stoped and spoke with the manager who was not overly concerned and said I will look into it. So 1:30 later and now I have to find somewhere to get dinner. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!!

    I had been looking forward to some quality me time and decided to try out your lamb chops. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with my meal. The lamb chops that I received were burnt and the pieces were very small. I was shocked that for the price I paid, the meal wasn't as prepared as I had hoped. However, I must say that the mashed potatoes and vegetables were good. In terms of the service, it was decent. The staff was courteous and attentive, but the quality of the food left something to be desired.

    The $69 steak was so-so. My husband asked to have bacon and chives on his potato but not sour cream, but the kitchen said that wasn’t possible — either all or nothing! The cavatappi could just as well have been made from dried pasta and store-bought sauce. The few mushroom bits had the texture of canned mushrooms.

    Notre serveuse était débordé et elle n’avait aucune aide de ses collègues (qui eux ne l’étaient visiblement pas) ni de la bussgirl qui a refusé de nous apporter du café pour nous faire patienter à la fin du repas. Nous aurions voulus commander café et dessert mais comme au bout d’une heure notre serveuse n’était toujours pas venu nous voir, j’ai dû la chercher pour lui demander qu’elle m’apporte la facture sur le champ.

    It took our waiter 15 minutes to come to our table after we were seated, although he went to other tables seated after us. There was some bizarre thing about a bloody Caesar that we did not order. We got a bottle of wine, followed by our then-cold app. Over 1 hour later, we still did not have our entrées. I gestured to the manager, and voila, by the time he came to our table, our food magically arrived - overdone, as it must have been under the heat lamps for a long time. We were asked if we were happy with our food, and said no, it was overdone. The plates, barely touched, were immediately whisked away with no offer to replace them. The manager then took off the cold app from our bill, still leaving us to pay for 2 dinners we did not eat. I do NOT recommend this restaurant. There are loads of other options in this city.
