    We had the Calamari to share as a starter which was excellent & a good portion for 2 people. This was followed by the chicken which was nicely served with fresh vegetables - a bonus. We enjoyed our visit, thank you.

    Great food and service! My only complaint is that I entered "celebrating a birthday" on the reservation. But it was not acted upon. I had to ask my server.

    Ribeye steak ordered “medium rare “ per chef’s suggestion. It was thin, well done on one edge and essentially raw next to the bone. It was way undercooked for 80% of the meat. Service was good and atmosphere enjoyable. If you order the steak, test it in different places to check for fineness. I waited too long to figure it out.

    A few dishes were served cold… one steak was cooked medium rare, was ordered medium well!! Waitress was pleasant but we only saw her once after meal was served. Never came back to ask for a second round of drinks . They need to hire more help ! Disappointed customers here

    Whilst acknowledging that the restaurant was very busy, our food was served cold, and my New York Strip was just a regular thin cut sirloin. Very disappointing. In fairness, we were not charged for any food.

    Nourriture vraiment excellente, ambiance parfaite, beau restaurant. Ça vaut le détour. Ce qui a gâché notre enthousiasme c’est à la fin. Très long (nous sommes arrivés à 18h et nous avons quitté à 22h avec un peu de pression pour accéléré le processus.Les facture ont tous été mélangé. A dû se reprendre à plusieurs fois pour avoir la facture correctement.

    My wife and I dined here during our first visit to Montreal for our 10 year anniversary. The food was above average, but this was the only place we visited in Montreal where we experienced a bit of coldness with our lack of French-speaking experience. The hostess, and both servers at our table seemed less interactive with our table than other tables around us that were French speaking. We didn't experience this anywhere else during our stay. Overall it was definitely a positive dining experience, albeit one that left us both feeling a little less welcome than the other locations we hit during our stay.

    We came here for our 5th wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint! The food was delicious (we ordered a steak and the cod) and the wine pairing suggestions we got were very good. Our waiter, Monosh, was very attentive and helpful. We will absolutely go back!

    The ambience was great. The service was ok. The poutine was really good. The steak was ok - I asked for a medium well and got a medium - not cooked enough to my taste - too red for a medium well. Also, the sides (vegetables and mashed potato) were warm - not very hot. We went to the restaurant last Spring and it was fantastic. Last night was just ok.

    A very nice and heated terrace is this restaurant’s huge plus. The staff is kind and our waiter was particularly friendly and helpful. However, unfortunately, the food was extremely mediocre all around - steak, lobsters, vegetables and potatoes served cold and either tasteless or improperly cooked ( and I got the priciest to ensure best ). My son did enjoy his garlic shrimp which were good. The waiter was very friendly and did offer us complementary desserts, which were quite tasty. I really liked the atmosphere of the terrace with lots of green so would go back for coffee and dessert but nothing else.

    Truthfully, I expected better. The service was quite bad, when I asked about the different sizes of the salmon tartare to determine if my spouse and I wanted to split it, the waiter seemingly berated me for even asking--saying the small was an app and too small, we would need to order 2 and the large was clearly a meal--all as he was walking away. When he returned, we decided to order 2 steaks (ribeye and ny strip) both medium rare with a side of spinach. The ribeye came out medium rare and the strip came out medium well. The spinach never arrived. Then we got someone else's check. Truthfully, I believe that they are understaffed, but after that experience, I would rather spend my $ elsewhere.

    Online menu indicates Table d’hôte is from Mon-Frid but when we sat down and looked at the lunch menu, it said Sat & Sun only- waiter confirmed this. Also, when I reserved online, they asked me for a reason why booking- I indicated it was for an anniversary (we were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary) however, no acknowledgement was made to this 😞.

    The food was not as good as I was expecting for the price. The lobster was over cooked and the overall plate was not appealing. I had to ask for bread. They never refilled our water and before we were ready to leave the waitress came to our table with the bank machine!!! I was going to leave 10% tip (which I think it was too much anyways) but the waitress said that the minimum is 15% on the machine so I had to ask her to change it to 10% (because the machine wouldn't do it for me) and she did it reluctantly.

    For the price, the food was nothing to come back for. We had the roast beef poutine as our appetizers(which was the highlight) and then had a lobster linguine and Steak Frite. We decided to sit outside and it was a nice experience, but the chairs and tables were too tight and no space to move around. All in all I would give it a solid 6/10 but definitely expected way more for how much the meal was.

    Okay just gotta say if you wanna eat here you gotta have some money cuz it is not cheap to get the good stuff. That said, steak was delicious! Whatever you do though, you gotta try the creme brulee flambé cuz what a show! Truly a great dining experience

    I admit that my expectations were moderate for a steakhouse in Montreal, but from walking in the door we were impressed. The menu was eclectic and unique, the wine list substantial and ambiance warm and welcoming. My filet was perfect, especially paired with a ‘18 Syrah, and my bourbon apple crumb pie was perhaps my favorite of the evening. Five stars all around.

    Quelle déception! Les prix sont hauts, mais c'est le vieux port alors je ne me plaindrai pas. Par contre, 35 minutes d'attente entre l'entrée et le plat principal c'est long. Très. Long. Mais la plus grande déception c'est le fait que j'avais mentionné que c'était pour l'anniversaire de ma femme. Rien n'a été retenu.
