   Service was great, but the food was not the quality you would expect for the price. All the steaks were very rare when medium was requested, they fixed the problem, but it was disappointing. Some of the steaks were filled with Gristle, making a large portion of the steak inedible. Although the food was disappointing, all the servers were attentive and polite.

   This restaurant looks nice and fancy but unfortunately the dinner was anything but. The service was slow and unattentive, the food alright but nothing to write home about and the atmosphere was nice except for the strange bass-loaded, muffled dance music in the background. The manager went into hiding after we voiced our concern about the long wait time in between courses and sent the seemingly inexperienced server back to speak with us. Very unprofessional and honestly quite awkward. For this type of restaurant and the price one pays, the service and food should be elevated quite a bit. Really too bad, we were looking forward to a nice dinner.

   Never had a bad experience at Vieux Port Steakhouse. We were a large group. Food was great, beer was cold. Would recommend.

    Nourriture bonne mais rien d'exceptionnel pour le prix. On nous a expédié rapidement alors que je n'avais même pas terminé mon dessert et que nous étions là depuis 1h20 seulement.

    Downstairs looks old and not well kept. Scratched chairs. Not like the pics on the web! Coffee cups extremely small. Food and service are good, not outstanding.

    Lovely restaurant. Great food with great service. The value of the menu during the Happening Gourmand is really good. The waiter was fantastic. He was extremely busy yet he managed to provide a great service. The food tasted great. Fries were a little too salty to my liking but the rest was great. I'll definitely go back

    We had an amazing dinner at Vieux-Port! The three course “Happening Gourmand” special was delicious and a great deal! The salmon and steak were cooked perfectly, and there was a good selection of dishes to choose from. Excellent service as well, very friendly wait staff! Beautiful, cozy ambiance inside the restaurant. Will definitely return!

    Ca l'a prit 1 heure et demi avant que le serveur prend notre commande. Nous avons été 1 heure sans aucun drink. Mon steak de surlonge etait tellement coriace que j'avais mal au doigt a essayer de couper le gras avec le couteau a steak. C'est la premiere et derniere fois que je vais manger au steakhouse du vieux port.

    We were there for the Happening Gourmand and although our waiter was very busy, we were quickly and professionally served. The food was great and the ambiance just right. We've been there before and have never been disappointed.

    Great service from David R. Happening Gourmand's Brunch menu is a bit weird. As a starter, you must pay extra 5 for a cream Cheese bagel , but not for the Breakfast poutine that has Meat in there. 🤔 The Salmon Bénédictine were good. My friend tried thre Tiramisu dessert. It didn't se to be Fresh and was tastless, but since she paid extra, she ate it all. In general, it is good. Just a few fix to do..

    The calamari & wedge salad were delicious. Espresso martini was one of the best I’ve had. However the lobster was basically inedible . Also fair warning the steak is too chewy for medium well in my opinion. I don’t recommend this steakhouse for steak. But I recommend it for their apps.

    Love the salad, the main dish was amazing. Perfectly cooked with the perfect combination of sides. It’s the happening gourmand month and this menu was on point. The only thing I would change is the dessert , the crème brûlée the caramel on top was very chewy very difficult to brake. Flavor was good thought. Presentation no so much.

    We were a group of 8, most ordered steak, the steaks were not cooked to order, the vegetables were room temperature. The one pasta dish was overcooked. We were very disappointed with the experience. We will not be returning.

    Although a special birthday occasion, the OpenTable details got lost in translation. That said, the service was impeccable. Dmitry was amazing! Even got to get recommendations for trip to Crete. I’m looking already as I forgot about Crete as a travel destination. Dmitry was on top of everything, making great recommendations and just friendly as hell. When I come back, I will ask for him. We come to Veux Port Steakhouse almost always- and always walk away happy. No complaints ever. The steak was impeccable and no comparison to the Keg, which we dine at. If you get seafood or “fries”, realize you are at a Steakhouse. So expect the best steak when eating here :) The mash is awesome and the steak amazing. Want seafood, go to a seafood house but understand some can’t eat but seriously don’t complain about French fries lol. We are always satisfied and will continue to come back. It’s great we came early - the rush whether booked or walk-in started flying in as we were leaving. But ambience and noise levels just right.
