Très bon service de la part du serveur et de la gérante.
Nous sommes à notre troisième visite et reviendrons très bientôt c’est sûr!

I love coming and eat at old port restaurant. Is one of the best restaurants there is in Montreal.

The person in charge of the wine does not know how to serve wine.also they did not have the wine i ordered,they suggested another one more expensive,I did ask to pay the same price,I think it was 7.00$,and it was a flat no.it’s not my fault if they don’t have the wine I ordered.I spent 355.00$. That night.
It is Their décision,it’s too bad because the flood was fine

Best steak I’ve ever had! Great wine pairing as well.

Great restaurant in the Vieux-Montreal. They really know how to cook a steak.

Two "complaints":
1. With this "social distancing" ambiance is not the same. Closer spacing between tables probably feasible, still in accordance with Covid rules.
2. The water in the plastic pitcher on the table is not "Gibbys style". Glass bottles would be better.

There was a great atmosphere, the food was lovely and the staff friendly.

The terrasse in the back is interesting. Good food and great value.

Juiciest steak in all of Montreal. We were 8 for our dinner and everyone of us emptied their plates. I had a chocolate mousse cake and it just melted in my mouth (it was on the house 🥰). Their shrimps were so juicy, I wish I could get their recipe. Overall it was amazing.

My boyfriend and I had the best dinner. The service was exceptional and the food was delicious. They were cautious of my dairy allergy and it was the perfect stop for a romantic date :) would recommend and definitely visit next time we’re in Montreal!

Vieux Port Steakhouse is a must go to when in Montreal. The waiter was extraordinary, the food was exceptional and the atmosphere was spectacular.

Very nice place. Lots of spaces. Food was really delicious. Good variety of wines.

The meat was too cook in all the dishes. Not much of lobster in the linguini pasta ..

The food was delicious and the ambience was quiet towards romantic. My wife and I were there for our 5 year wedding anniversary having held our original wedding dinner at this same restaurant. The staff were friendly, courteous and not overwhelming. They gave us our space. This is a steakhouse so obvs pricey but worth the $ you spend.

Probably the largest restaurant in the city and you don't get there by chance.
Food quality great and service great, Consistency in a giving a fine dining experience.

It's a great place to visit for a relaxed dine-in experience in the old port area. Moderately priced, good portion sizes.

This place is very good for steak.
I tried the salmon and was dissapointed cause to dry its definately the best steak house in town.

Le service était très très lent, la soupe était froide, nous avons dû retourné nos repas deux fois puisque la cuisson demandée n'était pas respectée.
L'ambiance était quand même agréable, le restaurant est propre...
Le buffet n'est plus disponible les dimanches à cause des conditions de COVID, mais rien ne l'indique sur le site du restaurant, aussi lors de la réservation personne ne nous a informé de ce !

Should have been way more evident that the brunch buffet was not available (there were two brunch menu page)

The brunch's Table d'Hôte was very very disappointing - Almost no choice. We had the omelette, the benedictine and the avocado and the salad was way too salty, the avocado spread was overpriced for what it was... the Vienoiseries (one mini-croissant and one mini-muffin) were below average and the coffee nor any juice was included in the 17$ price.

All in all, not at thequality level expected from the Vieux-Port Steak House.

Wondering if we'll be back even after COVID...

Food was good...but the steak for what you get is a bit pricey. The patio is fantastic and beautiful and we had a great waiter. I would go for the patio alone. Just be aware that they do not take reservations for the patio in advamce.

Avons pris un excellent souper Samedi soir je vous recommande la morue noire elle est divine. Belle accueil excellent service J'ai adoré ma soirée

We went to Vieux Port Restaurant on Saturday for our anniversary. We sat on the terrace, which was perfect, as it was a beautiful day. Our waiter was terrific! He was very friendly and attentative. We each had a cocktail, which was good. For dinner, I had escargots au gratin, which was very good, a caesar salad, which could've had more dressing, but was ok, and the salmon and veggies, which was very good. My husband had calamari to start, which he enjoyed, the caesar salad, and the lamb chops. He found the chops to be small, so he could've had one more, but he said they were tasty. Because it was our anniversary, our waiter brought us a piece of cheesecake to share, which was very nice. All in all, it was a perfect day in Old Montreal! Will definitely go back again.

This restaurant is my favourite and the old Port of Montreal. I always have a great experience whenever I go.

Not enough safety measures, we had to ask that our plexiglass was moved from between us and the empty table to the side where a table of 10 was seated. It makes you wonder... what is happening in the kitchen and elsewhere , staff not overly concerned with safety precautions, a no go until a vaccin

Great deal during happening gourmand but no dessert included! The steak frites was a little smaller than expected and no vegetables. Our serve Audrey was fantastic, great service and went above and beyond to take pictures of us for my moms and brothers bday. Overall good dinning experience!

Loved it. We will be back without grandkids :)

Very good food and it was an extraordinary evening. Beautiful weather not too hot. The rear terrasse has a nice ambience.
