From the moment we drove into the parking lot for valet, the service was slow. We frequently had staff apologizing for the slow service but would do nothing to improve the experience. The restaurant was loud, especially considering that there were only 2 other tables there. All the waiters were congregated by the doorway that led to the restroom. Our waiter was nice but the service was slow. Overall, the food was not good. - bread and butter (2/10) - extremely oily, bread was burnt, but the lemon butter was ok - chilean sea bass (3/10) - sea bass was a bit chewy but had a nice sear to it. Romanesco on the dish was the best part of the meal. - lobster pasta (0/10) - the entire plate tasted fishy! Both my husband and I ended up with stomach aches after eating at this restaurant. I would definitely not recommend coming here.

I had the roasted the chicken, the chicken breast was dry and a little tough, the Polenta was delicious and vegetables were ok, the onions could have cooked a little longer. Our server seemed to give a little more attention to my wife and gave her the check at the end, which she said was weird, like he was trying to show disdain or something towards me. It was ok though, I am not intimidated by such behavior, and it took a long while for him to come back to the table for our second drink, maybe because it was only two of us and it was crowded for our 7:15 p.m. appointment on the high seating. It was a good experience, but I would try another restaurant before coming back there. We have eaten at several of the other restaurants that were just as good or better.

Food was ok, service took longer than we expected, it took about 40 min to get to our table, and the restaurant was not full at 3 pm. The ambience is amazing though, Location could not be better.

The remodel of the hotel is amazing. And this lobby level hotel definetly looks trendy and beautiful. Even though it's at the lobby level, this resteraunt has a beautiful view of the ocean, golf club and grounds. You'd never know that you're not actually on a higher floor. Very nice!

The restaurant is very upscale, but, not so pricey. We ate here on Mother's Day recently. We mentioned to our server that our kids have certain food allergies, and we thought that it was communicated to the chefs. Whether it was not communicated to them or if the chefs forgot, my daughter was served her food with the food allergies that she asked to have excluded. Thankfully she noticed them before she ate her food. So, then they remade her food and it took forever. She had to scarf down her food just so we wouldn't be late to our next destination due to the delays. The restaurant did not charge us for her food, which was nice and we thanked them. The valet parking area is confusing because we were able to park in the valet area without any barriers to parking in their lot. We were not sure if this was public parking or just used for the valet. Just note the valet is in front of the hotel, Vea. For such a fancy hotel and restaurant in the Fashion Island area, my expectations were not exactly met.

Great hotel with lovely views. It's fun, but the food is mediocre at best. The $65 steak was about 5-6 small fatty slices that became bite sizes when we trimmed the fat. The waiter said the sushi came with 8 slices. There were only six which didn't really work family style with 4 people. Just overall, not worth the money. Better for drinks and heavy apps.

This is the first time at this restaurant and probably my last. I booked a room for a weekend race and decided to eat dinner there. It took 50 minutes just to get my salad and my food arrived after 1.5 hours!!! The waiter kept coming back saying “thank you for your patience” but honestly this is beyond having to have patience. The food was not bad but after waiting for 1.5 hours I was so upset and hungry that I couldn’t enjoy it.

We had a fun dinner there. Sunset was in view. We had the NY steak which was very good, the Black Cod was good too but very small portion. Chopped salad was ok, needed something. Oysters were tasty, very small. Glad we went there to celebrate a birthday. Valet is complimentary if eating there. We’ll go back!

We went here after dinner before returning to our room to have dessert & drinks and ordered the chocolate cake, cheesecake and the fruit plate. Prosecco was very bubbly, all dessert dishes looked amazing but we didn’t care for the chocolate cake, it wasn’t the typical cake texture but more like brownie but was bitter (tasted like coffee beans were grounded in it), so we just took one bite & didn’t want to finish. The cheesecake & fruit plates were both good. The server was very friendly and we liked the ambiance

Great experience, thanks to Breanna, our server, who really made it enjoyable. She was fun, engaging and knew her stuff. Food was good and we want to go back to try other menu items. Can’t do it all in one sitting of course, ha! Also will go back to enjoy drinks at the bar, the trendy design and ambiance and excellent views.

We had dinner at the hotel during our visit for my husband’s birthday. We love the remodel and new concept. We had a couple of different appetizers, a sushi roll and the salmon- everything was tasty and well prepared. We also enjoyed the chocolate cake they brought over as a birthday treat! Our server was attentive and personable. We would go back again!

We had a bad experience. Some influencers showed up and we ended up moving tables and got little to no service after they arrived. Very disappointing, but I will try again. My friend said she absolutely will NOT go back there. Service and the managers need to seriously up their game.

We went for the Valentine’s Day prefix menu. It was a great dinning experience but we did have an issue with one of our meals ( Wagyu sirloin) coming out cold. My fiancé and I understand that dining on holidays can be pretty busy and tough in restaurants and we never complain about food, but we did have to send the plate back. Our server was incredible and solved the situation right away and was very apologetic. That being said the second plate came out at a much better temperature. Overall we had a great evening and we will definitely be back again with some friends.

Horrible XMas dinner experience. Unfriendly, disinterested, unhelpful hostess. Prix Fixe dinner @ $95pp + beverages. Seated in basically the bar area with TV and very very loud patrons in shorts and baseball caps. Not quite the atmosphere we anticipated. Restaurant was virtually empty for 7:30 reservation - but hostess did not want to move our table for 3 to a quieter location - leaving many empty tables - there were only 3 or 4 tables occupied. She left us standing after we insisted she check on another table. Apparently the manager told her to move us which she did. We were seated. Noise from bar literally prevented us from being able to hear each other. Server was very apologetic. They ended up moving us outside - putting 2 small bar tables for 2 together to accommodate the 3 of us. Manager came over to apologize several times. $400 dinner - not enjoyed at all. No accommodation offered. We won't be back - and suggest that they either train or get a new hostess. Very unpleasant experience and sad way to "celebrate" a holiday.

They did a nice job with this property, and we will be going back for an event in a couple weeks, but probably not going to be back to the restaurant itself until summer time. The food was good, but other places in this same price point are better. It was really noisy and hard to have an intimate conversation over the noise from a neighboring table. While the restaurant bar has a good vibe, it really feels like you are in a part of the hotel lobby, and not in an upscale restaurant. We are thinking it will be better in the summer when the outside area is open and you can enjoy the view and sunset.
