   We came here to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and they literally ruined the whole experience for us. I booked OUTDOOR SITTING for 8 people, and when we arrived they told us it’s busy weekend so if we want to sit outside we should spend minimum 300$ per person. We didn’t want to pay that much, and no one mentioned it on website or on the phone. So we had to sit inside , which was not worth it. We ate the overpriced food and left. Never coming back..

   Hi , We came to celebrate my friends birthday. We were first seated outside where my sister and my friend were bitten my mosquitoes so we moved inside. We ordered the Burrata and it came with 4 pieces of toast and we asked for a 5th one since we were a party of 5 and they said they would have to charge us extra for a piece of toast. The prices don't match the quality of food. The service was a bit slow and it took a minute to catch their eye.

    The food was terrible. The waiter admitted that they have a new chef and they were facing “challenges”. It is also way too expensive for what is not a great menu. The wine list was marginal. Not a good value and not worth your time.

    Don't do reviews much, but left with a bad taste in my mouth and mixed emotions . We met two other long distance friends in Miami and met here fo dinner. Gorgeous place, greeted and seated nicely and as reserved . but then it kinda started going downhill. wed night. place was not busy. lovely dancer with fire show - nice touch. The food pricey , but most of it was delicious, especially the seabass and the side order of foie grass. the drinks pricey as well , but at least they were delicious. so 1st red flag was when one of the guests ordered truffle ravioli and hated it. ( yes , not their fault) but when told to waiter, he immediately sought attitude and kinda disappeared. we waited until he cam back and ordered another pasta instead, as he pushed the truffle one to the middle of the table saying we can share it. hmm . ok. i guess some places would go back , but fine. there was another incident but more or less taken care of ( hair in the dessert - changed it and brought another extra tiramisu - weird cause noone wanted it but ok ) . however, what annoyed me most is when the bill came and they add 18% service charge, we asked if it was gratuity and were told its for everyone but we want him to get the tip, we need to leave extra. kind of pushy if you ask me. although it seems like a new norm for restaurants. we had split the bill 3 ways and the other two families did not feel like the service or anything else was worth leaving any extra. we paid and the music and light were swiftly shut off. and any pretense at service with it. we went to the bathroom and on the way out the waiter , who was so nice just a little while ago, literally turned away passing us. so did the manager. as if we were ghosts. not a one thank you , even for spending over $1300 was not worth it. if the 18% service charge is exclusive of the tip , the restaurant should clearly state so. for example - "18 % service charge is added and a gratuity of 18%+ is expected " . left with a verybad taste

    Food was mid and Service was trash. At least the restaurant has good ambiance and nice drinks but honestly for the price it was nothing crazy. If you are trying to do a party dinner, go to Marion, 10 times better

    PLEASE CHECK THE BILL…..!!! Starting our experience in this place was unpleasant, since we arrived they sat us inside and our reservation was outside they gave us the excuse that they have to modify that online because they charge $300 dollars per person as a minimum consumption to sit outside in a common patio without anything special . The manager was nice and seated us outside. We ordered a bottle of wine for $220 dollars, when paying the bill they didn't charge it at $250, that didn't matter much to us, an extra 20% tip included, normal in Miami Beach, but they were stealing an extra $100 dollars from us at the bill, my recommendation do not go to this place and if you go check the account very well. Comenzar nuestra experiencia en este lugar fue desagradable, desde que llegamos nos sentaron adentro y nuestra reserva estaba afuera nos dieron la excusa de que tienen que modificar eso en línea porque cobran $ 300 dólares por persona como consumo mínimo para sentarse afuera en un común patio sin nada especial. El gerente fue agradable y nos acomodó afuera. Pedimos una botella de vino por $220 dólares, al pagar la cuenta no la cobraron a $250, eso no nos importó mucho, un 20% extra incluido de propina, normal en Miami Beach, pero se estaban robando extra $100 dolares de nuestra parte a la cuenta, mi recomendacion no vayan a este lugar y si van revisen muy bien la cuenta.

    WE love the restaurant, atomoshpere, drinks and services. The food was okay. The Dover sole was very dry and there were alot of bones left in the fish. The sides were okay but not to standards. Pasta was very oily. few things to consider. But overall we will be back as we love the restaurant for the vibe.

    we loved it overall, but the champagn list is unreasonably overpriced, not the wines, you offer choices, but you must offer lower priced Champagnes, it just takes away from an otherwise great experience . special mention to Gerber, such a nice server. so we are going back to Bagatelle and see how they are doing before visiting you guys once more

    I made reservations a month to have a dinner in their beautiful garden. It is not our first time visiting Villa Azur. They do take reservations outside but than they called to confirm the reservation a day before and let me know that the reservation is not guaranteed for us to have dinner outside. However we decided to go there (they do take $50 charge for no show and cancellations must be made prior 24h). After our arrival they did let us know that table should be ready shortly. After 10 min they are leading us to the table inside. I do ask hostess that our reservations were made outside and we would not dine inside, if the table wouldn’t be ready for us outside we would gladly leave just asked to confirm. Hostess went do double check what they can do about it. Than the waitress comes back and lets us know that it would be $300 charge per person if seated outside. We get into argument that there is not a special occasion or performances so we should pay that much. Than again I would ask if we should leave. Waitress goes back to double check. Than after 10 min waitress finds us and lets us know that the table is ready outside. No $300 charge. When we get there we see few tables that still are empty. It is obvious they are going only after money but we didn’t ask anything for free. This is unacceptable haw they treated us. However did have so much after all, but it is very disappointing.
