The food is always great as was our waitstaff, Sara. The customer service goes above and beyond. I made a special request when I booked the reservation and the management could not have been more accommodating! Vin48 will continue to be our 1st choice for dinner when we arrive in town. It never disappoints!!

We had a fantastic dinner at Vin48. All of the courses were excellent. My filet was cooked to perfection. The service was exceptional as well. It will be on the “Go to Again” list the next time we are here.

Have been to Vin48 a handful of times. The food is always solid as well as all staff being very inviting. Great place to share small dishes or if you need a whole meal, they have you covered.

We had dinner at 3 restaurants in the Vail Valley, and this was the highlight of our trip. Service was friendly and attentive. Food was truly outstanding, both in taste and presentations. Their suggested wine pairings were truly perfect. When I made reservations at each of the 3 restaurants, I noted that it was our anniversary. This was the only place that acknowledged that. We'd gone last year and liked it enough to return. This year they seemed much busier, full of locals greeting each other. I also think they'd stepped up their food. All of that seems like a good sign for their longevity and I'm delighted!

Loved trying the different tapas. We loved the quail, Ragu and meatballs best. Our absolute favorite was the delicious most amazing CARROT CAKE for dessert. I’d go back just for that! Nice restaurant and good wine list as you’d expect.

Vin 48 is our favorite restaurant in The Valley. The menu includes seasonal dishes as well as regular favorites. We ❤️ the ability to choose from small and large plates. The wine list is outstanding. The service is awesome and so is the setting. They have outdoor seating as well as indoors with high top and standard. the desserts are scrumptious, especially the carrot cake.

This is our second visit to Vin 48 and this time to celebrate our 35th anniversary. From the moment we entered through the time we left, everything was perfection. We were greeted with a Prosecco toast and congratulations by all staff. Our server was attentive, interested, knowledgeable and generally cool. We were so pleased to meet Sarah, the sommelier-equally accommodating, knowledgeable, and fun. The wine selection is deep with some Good values and hard-to-find bottles. We enjoyed 5 small plates and starters between us -all were excellent! The mushroom starter was a real standout! Looking forward to returning to the area soon.

We absolutely love Vin48. The food is different and always delicious, incorporating fresh ingredients and combining them in creative ways. Service is spectacular. During the Summer we have had different people wait our table and they are always knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. One of our top choices in the Vail Valley.

We loved it! The food was delicious! The poached pear and buratta salad was excellent. And the crab cake competed with our favorite at the beach - fresh and lots of crab with no filler. Our server was excellent - paced to us and attentive. Will go on our favorite list and will be back.

I made a reservation a month in advance to get a decent time for our 32nd wedding anniversary stay in Avon. We actually got there a little early and they sat us in a very nice table. They even remembered my note on the reservation for our anniversary and brought us a complimentary glass of champagne. Very nice! We ordered the chicken liver mousse as an appetizer... delicious! My husband had the pork entrée and I ordered a smaller plate of pappardelle, everything was perfectly prepared. So glad I ordered a small plate from their menu. Portions are large! Service was spectacular and you can tell these folks like their jobs! They have been well trained! We have been to VIN48 three times and it never disappoints us! 10/10!

This was our first time here. It’s a pretty place with a really nice outside space. We shared the cheese plate which was fantastic with 3 delicious local cheeses, 2 kinds of preserves and a mustard spread. It was served with toasted baguette slices. We asked for a few extra and ended up getting charged $3. It wasn’t a big deal but the server should have said something. She was great otherwise. We also shared the crispy Brussels sprouts which were so good. The crab cake was tasty too. The only disappointment we’re the mussels. The broth was delicious but the mussels were very mushy. We only ate a few & left most of them. They were served with toasted ciabatta which was great dipped in the broth. Overall a nice experience & we’d go back.

We have eaten here many times in the past. Tonight we stayed with small plates, however, we were disappointed. The meatballs were very dry and well done. The pork ribs were also very dry and overdone; the sauces helped, but not enough to enjoy the food. We cancelled the rest of our meal and stayed with the excellent wines. We love the ambience and always come here when in town, but the food needs to improve.

It was a birthday celebration and it seemed the entire restaurant came by to give good wishes. It began with the General manager and continued through the evening. Justin, our server, was above and beyond the call of duty. Our sommelier helped us with our wine choices. We are not the most knowledgeable wine customers but we were guided into some great choices with zero pretension. Great hospitality. Thanks again Justin.

Overall a pleasant experience. Was put off by the $1 extra charge for an extra cherry in the $23 Old Fashioned cocktail….I mean seriously for $23 they couldn’t add a cherry?! Petty and small.

Another wonderful meal experience based on Open Table recommendations. Bijou was a wonderful server, extensive wine list, and great food. Oyster appetizer excellent, followed by lobster risotto, which was delicious and unique . Wife enjoyed the pappardelle as well. All in all, another wonderful meal. We remain in search of a bad meal, just hope we never find it!!
