Chef Hans is also the Executive Chef of Vines Pasta Grill, part of the VINES GROUP and a most awarded Italian destination restaurant.

Vines Fusion Grill is located in the ocean-view historical building of Dartmouth Downtown. The dining area has seating for 80 people and the private dining area has seating for 14 people. It also boasts a large facing ocean patio and perfect spots in summer and can hold up to 28 guests.

Vines Fusion Grill has been awarded by Halifax community votes in the best fusion & Indian food category two years in a row, since its inception in 2020.

    I have been to your restaurant several times. I have tried different items on the menu. Never have I been disappoint with anything. My company from New Brunswick had requested we go there again. Your restaurant is my go to restaurant when I have company and want to take them out for a delicious meal.

    Very overpriced portion sizes for the same meal were very uneven. Ambiance is terrible really bright, lighting like a cafeteria. Wanted to try, but would not return.

    They charged me for my coffee refill and $3 for Parmesan. Ridiculous.

    I love this place! My family had been looking for a good Indian place to frequent since moving here 2 years ago and we finally stumbled upon this place… and now it is our go to restaurant. The food is amazing and the staff are super friendly. I highly recommend to anyone and everyone.

    They changed the stuff and cook . Very bad idea , food was terrible and uncooked and raw . The Chicken Parmto be exact , it was pink in the middle. The waiter we had was so embarrassed, she couldn't believe it . Very scary situation

    Excellent food. The waiter was very good. We sat outside on the patio which could have been cleaned. Other than that it was excellent.

    We enjoyed a meal at the Vines Fusion and Grill while on vacation with family. We were a larger group and as such had a chance to try out lots of different dishes. Overall the food was good. A few constructive observations would include; possibly too much oil used in the pasta dishes for some. Many of us had tough pieces of chicken in the pasta dishes. The whole soup / salad offer is not well explained, soup is free however a basic salad will cost an extra $4.00. On the plus side, all of the Indian dishes ordered were really good. The atmosphere in the restaurant has lots of potential to be very romantic, however, needs a little TLC. The awkward plastic see through COVID screens are still up between the tables which might be a plus for some. Hopefully this restaurant finds its identity and lives up to its true potential.

    This was our first time at this restaurant and it was not good. There was only one person on that was providing functions as the server, the bar person and the greeter. It took almost an hour to get our first drink order, and it was the only drink order we received while we were there. Our water wasn’t even topped up. The server was very nice but didn’t acknowledge or apologize or explain why there was such a long wait. We asked if he was the only one on and he said yes, for the whole restaurant !!! Him and whoever was in the kitchen… The food was ok but not something that would make the wait worthwhile. We would never go back , and we were a party of 7 people and we all said we wouldn’t recommend to others. Also we found it a bit bizarre that kitchen staff walked around the main floor and were not dressed appropriately or cleanly. One person had long hair with a baseball cap situated backwards on his head with hair everywhere and not contained and he was also wearing jeans that were hanging halfway down his backside with his underwear showing. The menu is now cheap and so you expect good timely service, amazing food and a professional clean environment. Sorry that is not the case and we should have read reviews before we booked because the service being slow has been acknowledged on other reviews.

    We had a very nice meal here. I had the chickpeas which were heavenly, my husband had the Lamb Rogan Josh, he loved it but found the rice serving skimpy and my sister had the chicken curry pasta which had a nice flavour but was quite sweet. Our server was nice but very inexperienced so service was a bit spotty. Nothing to get upset over. A nice gentleman came to check on us & we appreciated it but it would have been even better if he had taken more care with his appearance. An enjoyable evening, great food.

    You may have been short staffed , it took our server a little too long. Maybe because there was a large group of people in another room that was demanding attention. Not our servers problem, our server was really great In your question below you need " maybe " as an option

    The service was terrible. The waitress was lovely and all but it seemed like she was way over her head with too many tables. We didn't have cutlery until we asked for it. She dropped the dessert on when serving. Instead of returning it for a new one I had to pick it up and place it back on the plate. The food was just ok. I won't be going back there anytime soon.

    Calamari, Butter Chicken Pasta, Tiramisu... all absolutely delicious and priced well. The service was professional and freindly. Seating was comfortable with a great view of Halifax Harbour.

    There was a slight mix up with our reservation but they quickly rectified it. The food was delicious and the portions are generous. The servers were all very nice even thought it had been a long busy day for them (Mothers Day)

    Nice location, and great service with excellent food. Our party of 4 ordered a combination of pasta and Indian dishes and all were of excellent quality One of us forgot to mention lactose was an issue, when the pasta dish arrived with cheese on it, we mentioned the issue and they replaced the dish in short order. We had 2 minors with us and they ordered some mocktails. These were a big a hit with everyone.

    What a spot! The ambiance is amazing, the high ceilings, community tables, guest chatter, it's fantastic, but noisy so if you do not like that, this is not the place for you! Food is very good, the Indian dishes we had were so flavorful, yum! The Italian dishes were also good, but some of the guests at our table found their dishes to be slightly bland. The waitress was very busy..... She forgot one of our appetizers, but did correct it quickly. Our drinks were only refilled if we asked and it was tricky to grab out waitresses attention at times. Other than that, great spot, would go again!

    Lot of work needs to be done on the murg malai kebab. it was overcooked and rubbery, almost felt like we were eating store-bought kebabs. And the chocolate dessert, lacked oomph. It could have been a little more decadent. But apart from these two things, everything else was spot on! would definitely reccomend to a friend

    Everything was amazing, I had one slight issue with my app but Brandon was absolutely great and his service was superb! Only thing that will be a problem if it is on going .. the OWNER definitely made his presence KNOWN. Very uncomfortable the way he watched your every move . At times find him peeking around the corner . We watched another table tell him they were okay and thank you 4 times , before he left their table alone . Other then that very nice restaurant. We will return
