    Attended a cooking class using a Xmas present. The upside was the group participating, great people and a lot of fun. The downside: in my opinion these classes are poor value for money and there were some organizational issues that really should be addressed. The wines served were mediocre at best and could have been far far better given the price per participant. The introduction was far too long and simple for anyone with cooking experience. The food was fine, but the practice of having appetizer and entree served buffet style at the same time resulted in our eating a cold entree which rather defeats the purpose of what is supposed to be a culinary experience. Thanks but I’ll be avoiding this.

    Food sub-par and very very slow service. It was slow and they did not even have to keep our wine glass filled since we used the tasting system.

    charcuterie board was tasty and crab cakes were some of the best that I have ever had. Yet, the pastry menu is lacking.

    I made reservations on Open Table, but upon arrival we were told there was a very large Birthday party coming in, so when we were seated to avoid the noise of that party, we never got served water, for over 15 minutes. We just left. Would try again maybe.

    The regular menu looked good, but we chose to take advantage of the specials with the wine pairings. The food was fantastic, and the wine pairings made it even better. The wait staff was knowledgeable and friendly. A very nice evening all round.

    We enjoyed a Thursday evening meal and wine at Vino Venue. Indoor and outdoor seating were both available. The Roasted Piquillo Peppers were delicious and I also enjoyed the Heirloom Tomato and Burrata Salad and the Brussel Sprouts. The staff was very helpful about gluten-free options including which were safe for those with celiac or allergies. We look forward to returning and also to trying one of their wine dinners or cooking classes, which the chef also assured us could be handled safely gluten free as well.

    Poor planners-- They overbook, and then tell you to sit outside... (by the way, it started raining and they didn't even offer us to come inside) Horrible experience.

    This was my first time here and I loved it! Very much looking forward to going back. We ended up splitting a bunch of sides and appetizers along with some wonderful cheese suggestions. We loved them all. Great food and great service. We will definitely be regulars here going forward!

    Our waitress was terrific, helpful, attentive but not intrusive. Ambience is pleasant and feels up to date. The menu had a reasonable variety of both innovative and comfort items. We had lobster summer rolls that we wanted to have more seasoning or sauce. Alas the lobster was overcooked. Salmon rillettes were a new experience and were very good. Risotto was well prepared. Cioppino also suffered from overcooking the seafood. Desserts were a highlight of the meal. Creme brulee was splendid and a generous portion. I plan to return, but will caution to cook shellfish only to the tender stage for me.

    We discovered this gem through Dunwoody restaurant week. We had no idea this place existed. So glad we took a chance. The food and service are amazing. We'll definitely return.

    We came here for date night during the Dunwoody Restaurant Week. The RW menu didn't have a lot of gluten-free options so we both opted for the regular menu. The charcuterie board was amazing as was our reasonably priced bottle of Pinot Noir. I had the stuffed peppers and brussel sprouts and my date ordered the burger. All were pretty good. The venue itself has so much potential to be great, it was just empty/quiet even at 8pm on a Saturday. I've very interested in returning to do a wine tasting or cooking class. We could tell our server was new so we didn't get a good background on the venue's potential like their wine dispensers I had read about, but overall a great dining experience.

    I would recommend they expand their food menu. The wine selection is good and I have been to the cooking school before. Both are worth the trip. However, my friend and I ended up going somewhere else for dinner after we had a glass of wine at Vino Venue.

    Every time my sister visits from Charlotte, we visit Veno Venu. And, we always enjoyed the food. Both the mushroom flatbread and chicken are excellent! She really loves the white bean hummus.

    This is a unique dining and WINING experience and well worth the drive, time and money. Do not let the shopping strip/store front location fool you...the surprise inside is incredible. The atmosphere is sophisticated casual...a wine tasting venue, restaurant and bar. Grab a table and a menu to enjoy fine cuisine and grab a chip card, put money on it and start wine tasting by the sip, half or full glass. A HUGE selection for any palette. Try a sip. Enjoy it? Buy a glass. Love it? Buy a bottle to take home. Mike, the owner is nothing short of fantastic...passionately engaged with the customers. We ate for NYE dinner. It was a 3 course meal selection for $40/each. Oyster stew or blue cheese tart w/arugula for appetizer. Braised short ribs or salmon / grits for entrée. Dark chocolate w/orange mousse dessert. WONDERFUL!!! Add a cheese plate or wine tasting. LOVE THIS PLACE and prayers for strength and best wishes for Mike
