   First time eating here— loved everything! Excellent food and outstanding service— really appreciate the vegetarian options. We’re here for a conference —had reservations @ a different restaurant tomorrow evening— was very fortunate to switch to this restaurant— can’t wait to return! Isabella was our server— she went above and beyond!

   This was our first night in town dinner spot and it was perfect! We had an awesome table upstairs overlooking the courtyard. It is upbeat, alot going on, so not a quiet intimate dinner, but great atmosphere for a nice dinner. The food was overall good.

    The restaurant is in a great location, has pretty great food, but is nothing magical. The chances are taken on the menu, the presentation and quality of the food is fine, but I get the feeling that this is a restaurant is built for tourists looking for a safe meal. Nothing wrong with that, but can't give it a higher rating.

    The quality of the cooking has slipped since Virtue first opened. They have one of the most desirable spots in Old Town and the ambience is great. But for the price point, their menu options and food preparation is headed toward a mid-level chain restaurant quality.

    Great Mother’s Day spot! Great service, great ambiance, great food and drinks. If I were to provide any feedback, $10 for kids buttered pasta was not awesome, but waiter did a nice thing making chocolate milk for the kids. Highly recommend for an Old Town day.

    Excellent restaurant! Dog friendly and so so accommodating! Wonderful staff was able to accommodate our family of 4 with our Standard poodle service dog ! Placed us in a spacious cozy booth upstairs! We are not local, but we keep coming back to Alexandria and this wonderful place every time we visit ! ❤️❤️

    The Fish Tacos were superb! The Squash Blossoms were disappointing because we could not taste the crabmeat! The service level was exceptional and the outdoor seating was fun!

    Our waiter Julian S. was fantastic. He made our dining experience excellent! I ordered the shrimp quesadilla and my husband ordered the fish tacos. We both got a martini which was delicious. And we split the peanut butter pie for dessert. I am very sad to say I would NEVER go back to this restaurant. 2 days after leaving this post I happened to look at my credit card bill and they added a $15 tip to my credit card, however I left a $20 cash bill as the tip! I immediately called the restaurant and the manager is crediting my cc the $15, but this is beyond unprofessional! And I feel it’s important for people going forward to look at their credit card receipt to make sure the tip wasn’t adjusted.

    Not great. The service and venue are nice, the drinks were not great, and the food was not good. It could have used a great deal more seasoning, or flavor. It was bland and just overall not good, especially for spending $90 on an app, two drinks and two meals.

    Out door dining with the puppy baby was fantastic!! The brunch was incredible, I will definitely go back for lunch and dinner, and the scenery was great because of the water view. It’s tucked away on the side to avoid the mid-rush on the main road. Our server was fantastic and chipper full of happiness and joy. We had a great time!

    Very good food! Service was a little slow because of how busy it was (3:45 pm on a Saturday). Get reservations early (we set ours on Thursday). The only availability we had to choose from was either 3:45 or 9 pm! Definitely worth it though. They offered some unique drinks as well - I recommend the Sangria over the Stardust drink if you're not a fan of pulp in drinks.

    We sat outside at a table really close to the water at the back of the outdoor seating, and there was a musician playing guitar for money the park. He was great and really made the experience fantastic. Great weather, great food and exceptional service from the staff. Thank you!

    We were there about an hour and 45 min before closing. It was busy but quickly died out. Honestly, the food was ok. My kids loved the food, so did my husband. It was just ok for me. Service was off to a decent start, but towards the end, it quickly dropped off. We waited a long time for re-watering or for someone to check on us...even longer for a check. It just seemed like end of night=end of service.

    Food, service, & atmosphere is always on point. No matter if your going for a casual dinner, date night, or business meal you can’t go wrong. Two things to keep in mind: 1)Make reservations because it’s always booked. 2) Realize the size and know it’s going to be a little loud when it’s packed.

    This place was great! Love the ambiance and the location . Food was amazing (I had the shrimp and grits). The only thing that I would recommend is to add a nice toast to accompany the dish.

    The food was great, service was prompt, staff were so friendly, and we were well accommodated. For starters we had the chicken wings and the old town crab dip. Both were delicious, but I did have to remove one star because the chicken wings were warm, not hot, when they came out. The rest of our dishes - 2 kids grilled cheese & fries, lamb chop entree and short rib entree - were hot and tasted amazing. We are already looking forward to a return trip. This experience made for a great birthday dinner.
