We chose Vis a Vis because of their advertising as a charcuterie, cheese, and wine bar. We were disappointed to find that only the menu from the pub next door was available. Servers appeared to be working both the pub next door and restaurant so there were noticeable gaps in service. We felt we may as well have gone to the pub (although one of us ordered food we'd had at the pub previously and it wasn't up to its usual standard) and wonder what the intent of a separate restaurant is. Vis a Vis didn't live up to what is indicated on their website nor what has been written about the restaurant.This may have been an off night for some reason but customers should be informed. We're unlikely to return.
I was a little bit disapointed with vis a vis the food was good but nothing special. The resturant is beautiful however and the atmosphere was great. However our service was actually pretty bad. Our server seemed totally disinterested and when our food was brought out I sadi thank you to the man and he just walked away without evening saying your welcome. We spent almost 200.00 there between the two of us, and a little less attitude would have been appreciated.
