Service was exemplary, I don't recommend the sous vide lamb steak- it arrived well done. I expected (when I was not asked how I liked it) that it would have come medium rare. The rabbit was outstanding.

My Vista 18 server helped to make my birthday experience memorable. They found a candle and put it on my plate with my brulee like a birthday cake. It was amazing.

Best prawns I’ve ever had in my life. Another highlight was the peanut butter cookie for dessert but overall not a single dish disappointed. Server was so friendly and attentive. Fantastic experience.

I wanted to love the experience, but sadly was let down. Greeting upon arrival was great with a quick trip around the restaurant to our table seated next to a gas fireplace. Great ambiance for an evening dinner. The server had a mild way about him. My guest loved her beverage but mine came with egg white froth (not a sour, and not listed as an ingredient on the menu), which was a huge disappointment. Dinner was alright, but certainly not worth the cost. I had steak and my guest, the ravioli. She explained hers to be bland and the pasta far too thick which made the taste very starchy. My steak was cooked perfectly to my liking but the presentation was all brown and heaped in a pile. And not a pleasant decorative pile, just a pile. Mushrooms, onions, potatoes and bacon all slid off to one side in a brown pile. The server had upsold the addition of prawns which did not arrive. When he came back I mentioned that if they were missed, no need to rectify. When brought to his attention that it was missed and no longer needed, he just said “ok”. No apology, no shock, no, ‘let me fix that’. Nothing. Just ‘ok’ and walked away. He came back to say he realized that he hadn’t rung it in and was his error. I applaud the honesty and all, but poor response overall. In my opinion, the meal and drinks were not on par with what the other hotel restaurants in this city are providing. If you want to look out the window into the kitchens of the lower 18 floors of the condos next door and have standard meals, please enjoy your visit. We both agreed that more care is put into service, food prep and overall experience at Moxies. Consider taking your special occasion dinner elsewhere with a water view. The town has plenty.

Vista 18 and our server Scott took great care of us! When making my reservation I requested window seats and they gave us THE most beautiful corner spot to watch the sunset while we dined. Their food was amazing!!!

We happened upon a “quiet” evening in Vista 18, so the question regarding how quiet the venue was directly related. We considered that a bonus for us. Visits at other times certainly had more “buzz”. It was a wonderful dining experience.

We came here for Sunday brunch, and it was excellent. Not only were we asked if we wanted our poached eggs, soft, medium, or hard, but they actually cook them in the way we requested. Very well priced, beautiful views of the city, and very good coffee, which is not always the case with breakfast and brunch places.

We enjoyed our dinner at the Vista 18. We were a party of 4 celebrating my wife's birthday. We were seated promptly and with no wait. Three of us ordered the Pork Chop dinner and my wife had the daily special (Sole). My wife enjoyed her sole dish immensely. The three of us who had the Pork Chop dinner found the dish to be very good. Although we all thought the pork was a little over cooked. Then service was very good. Our waiter's name was Kevin and he served us professionally and with a great attitude. The ambience was perfect. We enjoyed our evening and will be back in the near future. The view is to die for.

The views from this restaurant are wonderful, even on a cloudy evening. Sunset is amazing. The food was perfectly prepared and served hot. This wasn't a special occasion but still a special evening for my wife and I.

This is one of the best values for breakfast and brunch I've ever seen. I've been going there for about 10 years, and most of the waiters and waitresses are still there, which says something about how they treat their employees. The view is fabulous, the meals are excellent and comparable pricewise with much more downscale breakfast places, but much better food for the same price as t he more more downscale places. I hesitate to recommend it publicly because I don't want it to get too crowded!!

Although it is on the sub-penthouse level, we could not enjoy the harbour view, due to our sitting location. The night view was quite pretty looking at the downtown side even though it was a bit cloudy day. I could call it even more romantic with all those pretty lights. However, unless you are in the bar area or, closer to the northwest corner, forget the harbour view. The parking was a little bit confusing for a first-time visitor. I had to park the car in the left-side parking lot and went to the front desk to get a pass. Later, I learned I could park on the right side where it was easier to get in and out of the hotel. The food was pretty good and enjoyable. I would not put in one of my favourites, but it was acceptably good for a romantic birthday. The staff's friendliness was probably the best part of the entire visit to this restaurant. From the front desk, the bar and the waiting staff, they were all friendly and happy to have us kind of attitude. That surely made us feel welcome.

The pro's: The atmosphere was really nice and not too loud so it was easy to talk. The view is of course stunning. They made accommodation for my disability. The food was reasonably good with a few glitches The con's: One of our orders we asked for the bacon to be done extra crispy and the hollandaise sauce on the side. What we got was extra bacon and the hollandaise not on the side but put on the eggs Benny. Then I asked for mine with Hollandaise on the side and it was put on too. Plus it was cool sauce so the breakfast became luke warm. We do think that if they had listened, it would have been much better and if the sauce was at least a lot warmer it would have been good. They did take off the charge for the extra bacon so that was good.

Great ambience, friendly staff and delicious food. We did the Dine Around menus. Tuna poke dish and desserts excellent! Pork osso bucco was delicious but the 2 orders of Moroccan lamb were on the tough side and didn’t really notice the spices. We appreciated the larger coffee mugs and our waitress was attentive to refills! Would definitely go back as the regular menu looks good and reasonable prices.
