It was my husband’s birthday and we chose Volare. I wanted a nice dinner together but we were seated at a postage stamp sized table that was practically in an aisle. There was always a jostling of our chairs as waiters went by. The was no room to open the menu or shift out of the way. The food was delicious and would have been very enjoyable if we had not been so uncomfortable. The server was polite and prompt but overall this was a disappointing meal experience.

We came early and got seated immediately. We were promptly served water and bread, and then our server came and took our drink order and food order. Everything was delicious and we were even surprised with a piece of cheesecake for our anniversary. Delicious! Thank you!

This was a magical experience. The food alone was marvelous! The atmosphere was to die for. I came here on a date with my lovely girlfriend, and we had such a great time.

Excellent dining experience!We sat on the delightful patio on a perfect evening. , Server was attentive and friendly. Water glasses were always filled by the assistant who also was friendly. Our meals were plentiful and our cocktails were delicious and reasonably priced. Our heath chocolate cheesecake was amazing and a great finish to our dining😉

Valet parking is available and worth it, there's no charge, but you're expected to tip the valet. It's worth it as parking is limited. We dined outside. Nice evening, service was great, food was very good. Inside seemed a bit noisy to me, so outside was better for us. Overall, highly recommend!

My return to Louisville for a visit would not be complete without dinner at Volare. There is nothing like it in San Diego. My guests all raved about the dinner. It was so nice of Josh to come out and welcome us. Will be back whenever I'm in Louisville. Hopefully soon.

This is a very good restaurant. The food and service top quality. One big issue for me is it’s way too cold. I was there a year ago and miserable because of the cold so this time tried it again it’s just as cold so we moved to the outdoor patio.

The first time I ate at volare it was amazing. I ordered the risotto and loved. The second time however, I ordered the New York strip for $48. It was cooked well but had no flavor. The grits, carrots, and green beans were amazing though. Just for the price point I would expect the steak to blow me away. I would recommend Volare, just not the steaks.

a very good classic Italian restaurant. Our waitress Claudia was fantastic and clearly explained the dining options to us. The buffet line was a bit long at times and the desert selection, was limited in my opinion. However, the quality of the food was excellent and the ambience, was very good. A bit pricey, but it was Mother’s Day !!

We dined last night with another couple My friend ordered a scotch, he was charged a dollar for ice!! My husband ordered a vodka on the rocks, he was charged .50 for ice and .50 for olives! Really!! This is an insult to customers that paid a $300 dollar check! Please do not nickel dime your customers! I am not happy, pay for the dang ice and olives!!! No other restaurant is doing this, even in Naples FL

The food was well prepared, however the sides served with your meal were mediocre at best. The Osso Bucco tasted like pot roast, again not bad but average. With the price point being on the high end, I expected to be impressed.

Everything from the cocktails, appetizers, and entree's is exceptional. The service is outstanding and they really care that you have a good time. They know the menu very well and if asked a question about a particular item, they can tell you! We always have a take home bag and can enjoy the dinner a second time!

Volare’s is definitely one of the finest restaurants anywhere. The entrees are always delicious, and fresh. The weekend fish special is my favorite. It’s amazing what Chef Joshua Moore can do with these ‘whales’ freshly shipped in from all parts of the world. The ambience is pleasant and takes you on a mini trip to Italy Along with fantastic entrees, they have an exceptional staff, both attentive and personable, which adds to a pleasurable experience. Highly recommended Volare’s - I plan on making it a weekly treat!
