We loved the service, food, and ambience of the restaurant. I wish outdoor seating wasn’t a first come first serve basis. If we wanted to seat outdoors, it was a 30 minute wait.

We had some out of town guests join us for dinner - they were so impressed with the food and the view of the water. The waitress was so nice - gave the the history of Vola Lawson and what she means to the City of Alexandria. She also brought a special desert out to the newly married couple as a celebration!

Our server Sophia was so kind and efficient. Reason enough, besides that fantastic outdoor right on the marina, to return and enjoy delicious freshly shucked oysters or a top notch Lobster Roll

My visit was worth the short walk in the rain from my hotel. The service was attentive and helpful. The crab dip was delicious, as recommended by my server and the sauce for the coconut shrimp was a perfect compliment. Both were in the starter’s list and it was perfect for a meal.
