   Food was delicious! Server was brand new and in training with the owner, Yvonne, and was an absolute delight. She did a great job! And meeting Yvonne was wonderful. She made you feel like you were sitting at her dining room table!

   We had a fabulous dinner on Saturday night . We were a large group and they were very busy. Service was a little slow but the waiter was nice so we were patient. It was worth the wait . Food was outstanding as was house cocktails !! Get the peach ole fashion yummy. Stuff pork chop was delicious. All in the group raved about food ! Ambience 10+ loved the upstairs dining and decor. Be prepared for noise lots of tables upstairs. We met the owner very nice and humbling down to earth and mingling with guests while supporting her staff on floor. They needed it !! We will be back next time we visit !!

   3 People not showing up for work explain slow service. The bartender (where we were seated) was making drinks and serving tables, so 2 hour dinner was understandable. The tasteless food was not explainable. I had the spring salad with poached egg and duck confit, bland. Salad dressing was simple oil like someone forgot the rest of the components. Ordered the gulf fish stuffed with crawfish stuffing over linguine and greens with burre blanc sauce. The crawfish stuffing was excellent! Great flavor! But it was on top of a bland fish over bland linguine....where is the flavor? My wife ordered her steak medium well and it came out medium. Very tender, but sauce and potatoes were bland and steak not cooked correctly. Had to ask them to bring out our dessert, white chocolate bread pudding. The taste was great! But still cold on one side. We are foodies and don't care if it's a hole in the wall or fine dining...atmosphere, taste, and service are hallmarks of a great experience. We had none of these at Vyonne's. One thing doesn't ruin an experience, but we couldn't wait to leave! Management should have recognized this and at least warned us before hand. We had to watch boxing on the tv above the bar and we both thought that lip reading an episode of Matlock or Murder She Wrote would have been more entertaining. And the wine, which I asked to suggest a pairing with the fish dish - don't get me started. This was a Fail. With a city full of incredible restaurants... pick someplace else!

   This restaurant was recommended to us. Initial impression was great. Cool ambience. Nice space. Wait persons were friendly and welcoming. French Onion Soup was excellent. But things seemed to go downhill. Little or no trace of orange in the "Duck L'orange" and the "roasted" vegetables were boiled/steamed. Like, really boiled, a lot. Our bottle of wine arrived after a looooong wait but at least we got to examine it at leisure for the ten more minutes it took for a pair of glasses to appear ... from the bar ten feet away ... This was not a budget-oriented meal; overall rather disappointing.

   Vyonnes is a bit of a hidden gem in the Arts/Warehouse District of New Orleans. The food and ambiance are wonderful. Vyonne is a gracious and exuberant host in her lovingly restored historic building with a charming courtyard. Save room for her award winning bread pudding!

    Yvonne the owner was our server and she was absolutely so rude and condescending and singled out women in our party to practically bully throughout the meal. The food was absolutely not worth it by any stretch of the imagination; when I first ate the shrimp I thought it was spoiled until I ate another and it tasted equally as awful. The French onion soup tasted old. I do not have unreasonably high standards for dining but I do know a mean lady when I meet one

    This was the best restaurant that I had eaten in while attending a conference in New Orleans. The ingredients were fresh and the dishes were so flavorful. The French Onion Soup was not your typical bar dish. The broth was thick and flavorful and the cheese was not over powering the soup. I also had the pork that had a delicious au jus sauce on it. The pork itself was grilled to the perfect temperature, just a very faint pink and so tender. Most restaurant tend to over cook pork and it becomes dry and tough. For dessert do not miss the bread pudding, it was creamy and so delicious!

    One of the most charming restaurants that I have ever visited. If the weather is good, sitting in the courtyard is just magical. Our waiter was fantastic. Very sweet and charming young man. The meal was good, but the magic was really the restaurant. A hidden gem for sure.

    Amazing!!! Amazing !!!! Get the duck and seafood bouillabaisse!! Classics!! Dont pass up on cocktails the owner made me the best peach old fashion ive ever had !! They were short on staff but didnt miss a beat on service. The owner took care of our table and was so humble and gracious!! Just excellent all around !!     We had to wait in long line in lighted hallway to he seated but it was a Friday night in NOLA. It made us as few minutes late for reservation but lined moved quickly. We sat on the courtyard. Service was slow but there was only one server in our section. Once he got it going things moved along and it ended up being a wonderful evening. We has the white bean cassoulet and salmon canapes both very delicious!! For entrees the beef Wellington steak was over cooked . The duck was the best. The savory bread pudding melted in your mouth. Dont sleep on craft cocktails!! Yummy!! The owner was very gracious and helping server with tables as they looked short staffed for a Friday night so we appreciated the effort!!

    Arrived at 7:00 for a 7:00 reservation. Waited in line for almost 30 minutes just to check in with the hostess! Seated, ordered drinks and appetizers. No food arrived until 8:09. The bbq shrimp and Brussels sprouts were delicious. Entrees were good. But the wait time and extremely slow service really put a damper on the evening.

    This is a great date spot if you are not in a rush. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Drink and food orders take a while to arrive at the table however. Food was good-not excellent.

    Ambiance setting and staff were wonderful and attentive Food did not live up to expectations. Ordered the World Famous French Onion soup tooooo salty The Beef Wellington in puff pastry..was not! When this arrived at the table the beef was wrapped in-uncooked looking pastry dough - not puffy or golden! Sent it back to kitchen twice and was not flavorful at all Many other great restaurants in area

    This was first experience with Yvonnes. The entry to the restaurant is a hallway that is beautifully lit with string lights, the welcome desk and an open air patio follow. It reminded me of restaurants in Europe or Mexico. The tables and chairs were very comfortable and the surroundings were serene. The service was good but not special part because we didn’t find the greeter or the wait staff especially personable, friendly though. We ordered the prix fix , appetizer, entree and dessert, for $10.00 extra the meal is paired with a glass of wine, saving you $2.00 on our glasses. I ordered the fish and my wife ordered the “Chicken Fricassee.” My fish entree was very good but the chicken fricassee was not what we expected. No sauce, actually it was just fried chicken . The bread pudding was great. When we received our check, it was in error by $30.00, but our wait person had it corrected quickly. All and all it was a nice restaurant for a comfortable and casual night out. Great ambience!!!

    Everything was just ok. Service wasn’t the worst I’ve had, but it definitely left room for improvement. Drinks were generally not the best and not always as described, and felt a bit overpriced. The French onion soup was pretty good, the rest felt lackluster. Half of the food came out cold, which was disappointing. For what it was, the food prices felt a bit steep too compared to other NOLA restaurants of a similar style/vibe. Other than the host who seated us whom was a bit abrasive, the staff were nice. But even though the staff were nice, it felt disorganized - perhaps this is why our food came out cold. The outside area had a nicer vibe than inside, given inside it was very echo-y and hard to hear across the table. That having been said, I’m happy they didn’t have music on inside because that would have made it even harder to hear one another. And then the bill was incorrect. Perhaps they’re understaffed. Could it be good? Probably. But it has room for improvement as of now.

    We were thrilled with this restaurant find. We sought a small, quiet spot, preferably with a courtyard, and what a find this was! I was enchanted by the twinkly fairy lights surrounding the alley. This quickly dispelled my disgust at barely avoiding stepping in a dog "deposit" left directly in front of the restaurant. The weather was perfect for al fresco dining and the waiters (including a trainee who was shadowing the veteran) were great. The menu was small - which was a relief after several nights of dining at establishments where we had too many decisions to make. We went with the fixed price menu and weren't disappointed. We wanted wine and declared our preference for cabernet sauvignon. No wine list was produced or options given, leading me to believe that choices are limited to house wines. That's OK since the wine we got was just fine. I recommend that the waiter simply state the name of the wine they offer. We enjoyed our dinner (including a decadent white chocolate bread pudding) so much that we made a reservation for the next night, only to have to cancel later since I was under the weather. Next time, I'm going for the snails which smelled devine.

    My friends raved about the BBQ shrimp, gumbo and crab cakes. Salads were delicious as abdominal dressed perfectly. Chicken fricasee was very go9d but a little too crisp. Vyoone took our orders and was very attentive.
