   The staff is poorly trained. The wait is so pretentious, and snobbish. Food was good, not exceptional. If you only drink water and tea, they seem to ignore you.

   Excellent place for lunch. Great food. Great service. Excellent espresso. Unfortunately, I was not able to enjoy an espresso this time because they turned off the espresso machine!

   We took our aunt for a birthday breakfast and it was the worst place we could have gone. It took 20 minutes for our coffees to arrive And the food was rather disappointing. The flavours were overwhelming and the bread tasted like cardboard. I’m not sure if I can think of any other place in Canada that has screwed up breakfast or brunch so badly.

   Went here for a birthday brunch for my friend. Staff were lovely. Food was delcious and prompt. Great overall experience. Would definitely return!

   It was a lovely brunch. Menu is small but the dishes we ordered were delicious. The restaurant was relatively empty which was surprising. The waiter was very quiet and difficult to hear over the music and didn’t hover at our table. Overall it was quite pleasant, i would recommend.

   Probably one of the best hotel restaurants I’ve been to. Food tasted great and was full after. The establishment as a modern cool feel to it and the service was what I expected from the hotel standard. I was happy with my experience, probably of the of the high light from the hotel.

   Went here for Sunday brunch with a friend. We wanted to try something new but keep it local. Food was pretty tasty. Drinks were ok, a bit overpriced but that’s to be expected in a hotel restaurant.

    We had the brunch as the first visit. The cost means that we probably will not go back very often, though the experience is very pleasant. The food is definitely cuisine art, in material, taste and presentation. The decor falls plain, unimpressive though comfortable. We love the service, casual yet attentive. Not recommended for pure desire of feast.

    Hostess was great. Waitress took away menus from my table when I went to washroom. Waitress was slow. Waitress didn’t ask if we wanted more drinks. Seats were uncomfortable. It was pretty dead. Table wa close to door and it was cold.

    They don’t answer the phone when you call; doesn’t feel like a place that should require a credit card hold. Menu isn’t that exciting and quite empty in there. Not an exciting vibe. Doesn’t have the same menu items as SCHOOL. Thought it would.

    We had business lunch at Public School. The host sat our parties in two separate tables across the restaurant. Couldn’t see each other and after 15 minutes we were wondering where half the party was. Service wasn’t that attentive and we received apps after mains. Food was over priced and mediocre. The space is nice but probably wouldn’t go back there.

    There was no acknowledgment of the comments left on OpenTable. Servers did their jobs but it wasn’t a memorable or elevated experience - no pleasantries at all - perhaps the staff was new. The food did come out in time and the portions were good, most of the dishes were delicious. Their waffle fries and stuffed French toast were hits. The experience to get into the restaurant from the underground parking is not seamless. Someone needs to buzz you in or a person opens the door. Was nice that they were able to provide a baby chair though the person who brought it didn’t know how to assemble it.

    We had a wonderful experience at public school. The food was delicious and the service perfect. The only negative point is there isn’t any brunch menu on the week days and they run quickly out of dessert.

    Avocado toast was yummy but I wish my server told me it came with a salad greens because I would have swapped it or upgraded for fries! The waffle fries were amazing, they had a nice seasoning on them (my husband got them with his eggs and bacon). My husband ordered a coffee with steamed oat milk but the milk used wasn't the right kind and was separating in the coffee. Overpriced for what you are getting but it was good. I wouldn't go back specifically to eat here, only if someone asked me to go or if I was passing by.

    Our table was nicely set for our group of 6 when we arrived—pleasant and helpful hostess offered to move chairs and check our coats. The menu has many good brunch options—including vegan and vegetarian. Tea and coffee is served in odd mugs with no handles and too hot to hold initially. Our food came quickly but was not hot. The waiter was attentive and knowledgeable. Nice open air space and not too noisy despite the restaurant being full on a Sunday at noon.

    First time at Public School - held a breakfast meeting here. Had to ask to turn down music - which they did. Great atmosphere and excellent food. Given its central location, could be my new go to place to meet up with people!!

    The good was amazing! It’s a great overall brunch spot and definitely go back again! The only thing was the service - they took too long to come to our table to get us water or greet us and take our order.

    Came here for a quick work lunch with a colleague and the food was just fine. We wanted to try something different from the usual Cafe Landwer across the street but at this price point ($23 for a veggie burger with mediocre fries) I think we’ll end up across the street next time. Also, the veggie burger is deep fried which really wasn’t necessary and kind of ruined the whole idea of eating a veggie burger to begin with (I.e., light, fresh, and healthy)

    Went on a Monday afternoon so it was nice and quiet - there were only a few other diners and mostly business people. Food came out quickly and tasted better than expected; usually restaurants attached to hotels I don't have high expectations for, but I was pleasantly surprised! I had the Korean fried chicken burger and it was delicious. There are also some cute spots for pictures!!

    We were extremely surprised that a 5” glass of wine (if it was that) was $30.00. Way over the top in our opinion and so we will probably never come back. Other than that it was very good.
