My server was great. I was put off because breakfast/brunch wasn’t available even though the website says it’s all day. My mimosa didn’t taste great either. Please keep your menu simple and only offer regular juice and champagne. No need to add extra stuff.

The staff went above and beyond what I’ve ever experienced. Unfortunately they didn’t have a change table for my baby in the washrooms, but the host opened up Skylight (when it was closed at the time) so I didn’t have to change my baby in an awkward/uncomfortable way. When I was trying to pay for the food, the waitress was absolutely a blessing as she kept my baby busy so I could do what I needed to do and it was so nice seeing my baby have fun with her as well.

My ratings might seem over the top, but they are well deserved. To find a restaurant so well located is an achievement of sorts. But to discover its attractive and serves quirky yet recognizable delicious food that’s eye catching — and at a decent price point — is a bonus. Add friendly and engaged staff, and ambiance, and you have a bonus. But the crowning glory is the quiet. My lunch partner and I could hear one another perfectly — even when we dropped our voices to discuss subject matter with discretion. We will be back. And often.

Went for Summerlicious (which they had advertised outside) but they were only offering it during the week, not on weekends!!! Whaaaaa? Never heard of a restaurant deciding to forego this event on the weekends. Also, our server was nice but seemed stressed. And they were out of a few items off the menu. Food was beautiful with flowers on many items and we all thought it tasted quite good, but we were all looking forward to a 3 course Summerlicious meal ☹️

Quiet restaurant in the bottom of the W Hotel. Food was great, the fries were very good. Burger pop up was cute and tasty. Very cute decor.

I was excited to introduce this place to celebrate my friend’s birthday as I always walk by public school. The service was poor, felt rushed; was still eating and waiter just put her hand on my plate to grab it instead of asking; the table was small hence why the waiter took all menu even the drink menu which we still wanted to grab more drinks, expected better on the food, the experience was not good.

The staff is poorly trained. The wait is so pretentious, and snobbish. Food was good, not exceptional. If you only drink water and tea, they seem to ignore you.

We took our aunt for a birthday breakfast and it was the worst place we could have gone. It took 20 minutes for our coffees to arrive And the food was rather disappointing. The flavours were overwhelming and the bread tasted like cardboard. I’m not sure if I can think of any other place in Canada that has screwed up breakfast or brunch so badly.

I checked the menu prior to coming here so I can already choose what to order. However, upon ordering, everything I asked for on the menu was unavailable. So I had to settle for what is available. Although it is also good, I was just sad that it wasn’t what I came here for.

It was a lovely brunch. Menu is small but the dishes we ordered were delicious. The restaurant was relatively empty which was surprising. The waiter was very quiet and difficult to hear over the music and didn’t hover at our table. Overall it was quite pleasant, i would recommend.

Probably one of the best hotel restaurants I’ve been to. Food tasted great and was full after. The establishment as a modern cool feel to it and the service was what I expected from the hotel standard. I was happy with my experience, probably of the of the high light from the hotel.

Went here for Sunday brunch with a friend. We wanted to try something new but keep it local. Food was pretty tasty. Drinks were ok, a bit overpriced but that’s to be expected in a hotel restaurant.

We had the brunch as the first visit. The cost means that we probably will not go back very often, though the experience is very pleasant. The food is definitely cuisine art, in material, taste and presentation. The decor falls plain, unimpressive though comfortable. We love the service, casual yet attentive. Not recommended for pure desire of feast.

Hostess was great. Waitress took away menus from my table when I went to washroom. Waitress was slow. Waitress didn’t ask if we wanted more drinks. Seats were uncomfortable. It was pretty dead. Table wa close to door and it was cold.

They don’t answer the phone when you call; doesn’t feel like a place that should require a credit card hold. Menu isn’t that exciting and quite empty in there. Not an exciting vibe. Doesn’t have the same menu items as SCHOOL. Thought it would.

We had business lunch at Public School. The host sat our parties in two separate tables across the restaurant. Couldn’t see each other and after 15 minutes we were wondering where half the party was. Service wasn’t that attentive and we received apps after mains. Food was over priced and mediocre. The space is nice but probably wouldn’t go back there.

There was no acknowledgment of the comments left on OpenTable. Servers did their jobs but it wasn’t a memorable or elevated experience - no pleasantries at all - perhaps the staff was new. The food did come out in time and the portions were good, most of the dishes were delicious. Their waffle fries and stuffed French toast were hits. The experience to get into the restaurant from the underground parking is not seamless. Someone needs to buzz you in or a person opens the door. Was nice that they were able to provide a baby chair though the person who brought it didn’t know how to assemble it.
