Visually, Skylight is impressive. I was turned off though because the moment we were seated the 1st comment from the host was ‘ you only have this table for 2 hrs’. I was unimpressed. We were given the option of a seat in the back corner or a high top by the window. We chose high top for the view. The seats/stools are not designed for short legged people. We we’re unable to touch the foot rest, in addition the table top is far too high relative to the seats, making for an uncomfortable and annoying. I found myself standing more then sitting. The DJ started at 8pm and after that, it was more like being in a bar atmosphere. Its definitely simply a place to go for drinks.

Wonderful experience at Skylight Rooftop Bar. We had reservations at 8:15pm and were instantly sat. We were then greeted by our server who started us off with 2 cocktails which were superb. Server was knowledgeable of the menu as well. We got 2 apps and tried the Wagyu as an entrée. Hummus and Wagyu were excellent tasting. Oysters were good, but the Smokey fries are what did it. Would definitely recommend trying those. Ambiance was nice, we had a table inside somewhat close to the outdoor section. Beautiful views and ambiance. Overall great experience here, will be back!

We were absolutely stunned that two standard drinks (not specialty drinks) came to $64 — two very small martinis. They must have made a massive mistake or purposefully boosted the bill. We were so stupefied that we simply walked out after paying. These were two or three ounce drinks. Very nice people with lots of smiles, but this is outlandish and absurd. I hope they post a reason or a response.

Service was brilliant! I have mentioned that it’s friends bday when I made a reservation our server provided us brilliant service. The only recommendation is chairs are too high and not too comfortable.

Congrats to Johann and team for a successful Soca Brunch. The whole experience was well thought out - service (thanks Julie! 😉) music, menu and Dolce Den went above and beyond. We had a good time celebrating our anniversary - our first time at Skylight. Future themed menus sound intriguing so will definitely look forward to returning. Thank you!

Cocktails very average , Paloma not the greatest.. no agave .. pornstar martini = pineapple juice .. Martinez not even close .. our waitress was stunning yet another one approached us which had her friends in one of the cabanas.. it was ok for her friends to Vape in front of her, so i took my vape a while later and then she approached me and asked me not to smoke, didn’t want to make a fuss about it but I wasn’t happy !! Our waitress was First Class !! Connected with us, few laughs , thats what service is all about ! Emotional engagement! She’s a superstar when it comes to that ! Even when i shared my feedback with her , you can see that she tried her best!! Food was DIVINE !! Kudos to the chef !! Amazing understanding of flavor and balance ! Hostess was spectacular! Very genuine and cosmopolitan! Wouldn’t go back for a cocktail experience but definitely for food !

So far the best restaurant in Toronto with middle eastern food I’ve been to. So unique yet delicious Service TOP, food AMAZING, music PERFECT And let me tell you, I am very picky when it comes to high end restaurants I’m really happy I chose this place for our dinner Will definitely come back ❤️

Disappointing flavour notes on the dishes we had. From a too vinegary salad to poorly seasoned dishes… the food was a let down. The staff was over stretched so once the restaurant got busier the service declined. I love the room and the decor and it was that that really inspired us to spend a special night at the w hotel.

My waitress didn’t hear me right and ended up giving me a whole new meal on top of the one I had asked I asked for extra chicken and she gave me the hummus chicken which was too much food and also $27 over what I had asked for And then when I told her for her, she didn’t even try to adjust the bill. I felt quite annoyed with that. The DJ was such a beautiful and energetic person. However, the music was way too loud at one point I was screaming during my mail, and that was too much for me.

Would have rather gone for fast food kebabs. Ordering a la carte for the exact same dishes would be cheaper than ordering the summerlicious set menu. Get your Instagram pics here if that’s what you need, that’s all it’s worth.

Came here for summerlicious with my fiance to and have to say that everything we ordered was delicious. For the price, it was worth it although drinks were a little pricey. Service was attentive and they had a live DJ as well!

Food and service were outstanding. However, when we got our car from the valet we were surprised to be presented with a $40 tab! It is wrong to charge your dinner patrons that much for 2 hours. Unfortunately, that will affect my willingness to return.

Everything was AMAZING! We ordered a lot of food and our server was amazing! She even gave us the dessert on the house. The manager even came by and said hi to us which was really nice! The only thing was that I didn’t really enjoy the music but honestly it wasn’t a big deal.
