This place NEVER disappoints me!!!! Even after returning 3years later they are still good! Great service! Nice ambiance! Food is delicious. Fresh. Perfect portions! The drinks, hands down, one of the best pina coladas I’ve had! Went to another popular spot and the coladas were HORRIBLE! The Skirt steak was cooked just right! Tender! Seasoned well! The empanadas were sooo tasty! Lets not forget the shrimp and chicken rice with the plaintains, so good! If you haven’t visited, please do!!!!

Very small casual place. Easily overlooked on the street. Seating of maybe 6-7 tables inside, three outside. Tiny bar with about four stools at the bar. Server was very pleasant, service was fast. The food, both very good and authentic. Enjoyed, and I would go back.

Waiter's is an unassuming place with some of the best food in San Juan! We keep going back and it has not yet disappointed. Everything is delicious from the empanadas to the local sausages. And their paellas are all outstanding!

We were looking for a local casual restraint that had PR food, but had some bailout options for our picky teenagers. I scoured the Open Table menu and reviews. Waiters lived up to its billing. We went at 7 pm the place was empty Jain met us at the door and showed us our table and gave us great service through our meal. He suggested an amazing rim old fashion that impressed this bourbon snob. All of the food we had was excellent. Our kids order traditional items such as wings, salad and fried mozzarella, but enjoyed our empanadas, grilled sausage stuffed avocado. As many of the reviews stated don’t be fooled by the curb appeal and sit inside. Thanks Juan and sorry about the spilling the water lol.

Last night in Puerto Rico. I am glad we went there. This was a good find from open table. The appearance from the outside is deceiving. I probably would not have stopped. It is amazing. Looks great from the inside. (Don’t sit outside). You definitely need a reservation as it is a small place. Juan was our waiter, host and the door bouncer:) he was great though. We only ordered appetizers and it was so much food. Ceviche, fried cheese, top fish, empanadas were awesome. Mojito was very good as well.

The whole red snapper was amazing. Had a great dinner. Just don’t opt for outside. There were being vaping and warm air from an exhaust vent did not make it pleasant. But inside is quaint.

We sat outside on the patio. The place is not attractive, but do not be put off by the building. The food is good. I would not expect to take a date there for a fancy evening. I went with my relatives and it was very nice. Be sure to have a reservation; we saw multiple parties turned away.

The food was so amazingly flavorful. I’m so glad that I went here, all of these reviews are TRUTH. A small hidden gem, if you want authentically great tasting food and genuine service. The steak was very flavorful and juicy. The plantains were kind of ordinary I recommend getting the vegetables. BEST tasting vegetables, yes I said vegetables. I will be going here again before our trip is over. I recommended HIGHLY.

As many other reviews state, do not be fooled by the exterior, this place is legit. Service was prompt and friendly. The food was AMAZING. We started with the ceviche, then had deep fried Red Snapper (yes, the whole fish, eyes and all) and seafood stuffed avocado (half a large avocado smothered with shrimp, mussels, calamari and a ridiculously decadent sauce). We didn’t have room for dessert, but it looked delicious as well. I’m not sure why there was a single empty seat available, would HIGHLY recommend.
