The food was spectacular, as was the service. I wish I knew her name! I wok up wanting a cinnamon roll from Walton St and wondering if if I had dreamed about them. Also, that bacon was special. I don't know what you did to it or where you got it, but it was my favorite bacon ever.

Our experience was just about perfect until the table of young couples who each brought a toddler was seated next to us. The toddler noise grew quite terrible, which I can't be mad at Walton St about, but it affected the experience, unfortunately. I mean, it was 5 or 6 toddlers. I applaud them for getting together as families and I roll my eyes at them for sitting near us.

The food here was phenomenal, I’d recommend for anyone (specifically, the Roasted King Crab). To top things off, our server, Mariah, was an absolutel gem. She was pleasant, friendly and made great suggestions on what to order. In the words of Schwarzenegger, “I’ll be back.”

This place is quickly becoming my “go-to” spot. It’s great for a date-night with my husband, entertaining clients, or just a great dinner with friends. As a non-drinker, I especially like that they offer a “designated driver” selection on the menu. So far (I think I’ve been there 6 times in the past 2 months) the service has been impeccable. Has more of a local, upscale, but not too fancy vibe. Excited to try brunch next. Thanks for another great dinner.

This is the restaurant that our neighborhood has been needing for years! I love bringing colleagues, friends, and family here for business, happy hour, or boozy brunch. The service is kind, welcoming, and so warm. The food is always great, cocktails are well made, and the wine selection is diverse.

Great dining experience in the Gold Coast from the team that brought us Gemini Bistro and Coda di Volpe. Delicious menu options, attractively presented with attentive service. We dined on a Sunday evening and enjoyed booth seating for our party of 4 in a conversation friendly setting (although the dining room was only half full). Interesting wines. We will be back!

We went to the Walton Street Kitchen and Bar to celebrate three birthdays. We had an amazing time there and all of the little touches that Walton Street did made the occasion feel very special and personal . We went there for brunch and were immediately seated in a beautiful sunlit dining room. Walton Street had personalized the menus to honor the birthday recipients and we were given a complimentary glass of champagne to start off the celebration.. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were perfect! The service was great and we were given complimentary desserts to finish off a fantastic brunch.
I would highly recommend Walton Street for brunch - I will be back there for sure!

This was a repeat visit for me, yet the first for a friend. My friend was blown away, while the excellence of the experience was not diminished. I have to give a mention of out incredible server, Darma. She was nothing but incredible. Equal to the food and the surroundings was this joyous person.

Every time I come here the atmosphere seems to get progressively worse. The food is good and service is usually excellent, but this used to be a great setting for an enjoyable evening in an energetic atmosphere. The last three times I’ve been here has been bordering on chaos in the dining room, and my last experience was by far the worst. There were two tables around 7pm with little kids that the parents could not control and the kids were emitting short bursts of screams every five minutes or so. Of course the parents did nothing about it, but unfortunately the restaurant management did not either. And, one diner actually brought her own whistle and blew her whistle loudly during dinner — which made the entire dining room go quiet only to hear this lady announce to everyone that they should sing happy birthday to her friend. Are you kidding me?! No manager approached her, educated her on proper decorum, or apologized to anyone who thought that was obnoxious (I know my table and those around us certainly did). I never expected Walton Street to turn into an Applebee’s atmosphere, but it certainly has felt that way lately.

We had a great experience last nite at Walton st kitchen. It was our first time there. The wait staff, table attendant and food was superb. We got there about 15 min after the pre-fixe menu was iver but they honored it any way. The salmon and the herb chicken, salads and deserts were amazing. We will definitely be back!!!’

This is a relatively new restaurant with a sophisticated decor for informal dining. The menu is a creative take on many traditional dishes. We were there this time for a Sunday brunch and enjoyed fresh baked pastries, perfectly cooked omelettes, maple bacon and hash brown potatoes. The service was attentive but timed perfectly. We all agreed we would be back there again soon.

Really liked this restaurant. Very pretty upstairs and very comfortable. The servers were attentive without being overbearing. The lunch menu was nice. The tuna nicoise salad was very good. They did not serve bread or rolls of any kind and we thought that was missing. Would have been nice to have some bread with the salad.

Solid addition to the Gold Coast food scene. Fairly new and still perfecting its selections and menus. That said the pork shank, the trout, and the meatloaf were outstanding. The wine selection was solid. Keep an eye on this place as I think they will evolve into something special.

This was my first time at Walton for their lunch menu. I ordered the salmon and greens salad. I enjoyed it a great deal. Also, you can't go to Walton Street without ordering their homemade honey bread with honey butter. I could probably order three of them and that would suffice for lunch. The managers always check in with diners to see how things are. The servers and bussers do the same. Even the hosts seem to enjoy working there, and it shows. In some restaurants, the staff can be surly, but I've yet to see that here. I will return again to try other menu items. And I will definitely come back for dinner because their dinner menu is fantastic.

This was our fourth time visiting Walton Street and we have yet to be disappointed. My fiance and I split an appetizer, salad and an entree between the two of us, and the plating was perfect. Their wine list offers quality options for every price range and they are great about giving you tastes if you are between two different glasses. Their espresso martinis are a perfect treat to top off a great meal! We will definitely be back.

As a frequent patron of sister restaurant Gemini, I wasn't surprised by the quality of food. I think one of the noticeable strengths of this restaurant group is their attention to service. I have always been impressed by the personal touches and interactions with the wait staff, managers and owners. My husband and I are big fans!

The food was wonderful. We were surprised not to receive bread with our salad and entrees. The waitstaff interrupted our conversation 3+ times without apology, speaking right over us. The noise-level was high. I give an overall 4 stars because the food was excellent but it seems there are some rough patches this restaurant needs to overcome if they will last.
