   Service and food was top notch. Ambiance was a hotel lobby, so you go with your expectations. But the food and service were really great.

   We had the supreme chicken which was dry and may have been better with a sauce to help give it more moisture and flavour. Also had the fish and chips and the fish was watery and flavourless. The waitress was very friendly and attentive which helped the experience.

   We had the Mother’s Day Brunch at Waters Edge. The food was delicious (breakfast was amazing) all the food was hot and always restocked. Lots to choose from. The dinner menu was fantastic. Vegetables were fresh and had a lot of flavour. The meat was cooked to perfection and kept nice and hot. The staff was very helpful and always around cleaning plates and offering coffee, juice etc. It was busy but quiet and not crowded. We will definitely be back.

   This was our first experience at Waters Edge. Excellent food. Great atmosphere for Christmas. Our server was excellent! Very accommodating. Pleasant and informative. Food portions are very generous as well. We will definitely be back again.

    Service was great for us. But that’s the only redeeming quality of this hotel lobby restaurant. First off, with the name you’d think there would be a water view. Nope, not even a window. You can see the lobby though. The dip came with the famed PEI potato chips and some kind of ripped up flatbread. Neither are edible. The chips were cold and hard as cardboard. We had to apologize to the very nice waiter and went to another much better restaurant down the street. One silver lining was we got to ruminate and laugh at this shared culinary nightmare while enjoyed our much better dinner at the Brick House closer to the Victoria Row. Our theory is that the chef is quiet quitting …

    Like eating a hotel lobby. Food was all very good but the waitress was very inexperienced and offered poor service (she was pleasant, but just didn't know what she was doing).

    Food was great and not outrageously expensive. Location is great right Downtown on the waterfront. Was able to get a same day reservation and service was excellent. We had a child and the back room was great for the noise and activity of my child.

    Had the buffet breakfast 2 days and the a la carte once Service was a bit hectic, but they were super friendly and apologetic. Alina was our server for 2 of the 3 breakfast and she was a delight.

    Atmosphere was very nice . We waited over 30 mins and had to ask if someone was going to take our order . It was about another 30 mins to get food. Food was ok. Home fries did not taste freshly cooked. Service was very poor . Food over priced for quality .

    While it is not at the edge of any body of water, the service was great and chef went above call of duty to provide an excellent cheesecake gratis for our wedding anniversary - very thoughtful!

    Our server took our order and then never showed up again until they passed us the bill. Food brought by another server. Other than that no contact to offer more water etc. We did have our drinks comped and free dessert that we brought home, only to find a hair in it.

    For some reason Open Table did not let me know that this restaurant had been closed for renovations. I had made the reservation quite some time before and also received a confirmation the day of. When we arrived we were told the restaurant was closed. Very disappointing.

    We were at the Delta for a staycation and decided to stay in to eat. The staff was incredibly helpful (on a Saturday night no less). Our waitress was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and made some great suggestions. A HUGE shout out to the bartender. We sampled a 4 different drinks between the two of us and they were all amazing. The standout for me was the Espresso Martini. HIGHLY recommend that you try this, even if you are not a martini lover. It's like the best iced coffee you've ever had. We will definitely be coming back for another visit soon.

    For a generic hotel restaurant, Waters Edge is a good one. Very friendly, personable service offering useful advice. Small menu but something for everyone. Reasonable portion size.

    Had reservations, but said we couldn’t be seated for 1 hour as they were busy. After I protested they did seat us but we still waited 1 hour for our food which was terrible. Worst meal I’ve had in a long time.

    There are many excellent restaurants in Charlottetown PEI. Water's Edge is average at best so I would recommend it when there are so many better choices.
