   Old school ambience and classic dishes done well made for a good night at Wellington's. The menu offered up typical steak house fare but the one standout was the beef wellington. Prepared nicely, it was a tasty treat that I don't see or have often. Wellington's offers up great value when compared to other steakhouses in Calgary.

   From the minute we got there we were greeted with smiles. Our server was amazing as was all the staff that helped us. The restaurant is very classy looking and the Ambiance is wonderful. When the food came out it was absolutely amazing. I can't think of a restaurant where I have had better steaks or better beef wellington. I gave this review five stars because there is no option for 10 but if there was it would get 10 Stars easily. Everything was perfect and the desserts are to die for.

   We order the Caesar salad table side and carpaccio. Both were very good! Then for the main course we ordered Beef Wellington, Steak Diane and the special of the night - Steak and Lobster. Generous portions, great flavouring of the all the dishes. Really good food. For dessert we shared cheesecake. So light and airy. Everything was just really good and we can't wait to go back there!

    I asked my wife where she wanted to go for our 20th anniversary, she picked Wellingtons and it was fantastic. I would say it is like one of the classic Calgary steak houses. Complete with the chef cooking in the window.

    I would give it 100 stars if I could. The best dining experience I’ve ever had by far. The soup was the best soup I’ve ever had in my life, my partner said the same thing (I’ll be dreaming of it until I get to go next). Service was fantastic and the food was just as amazing.     Nice ambience, good service and the food was great. We went for a family event and the restaurant was not too loud, so we were able to have conversation, visit and catch up. Wellington's lounge across the hall had playoff hockey on and so after dinner we had a cocktail there, again, not too loud so we could visit and enjoy our family company. Really enjoyed our family get-together and would go here again for that type of an outing. Recommend!

    Service was quick and the food was excellent. Seafood bisque was served hot and tasted delicious. Bread could have been warmer. Steak Neptune was fantastic, tender and flavourful asked for med rare and got med rare. This is a traditional steak restaurant that has been around for more than 30 years.

    My rib eye steak was good, not outstanding, but overpriced. I've eaten better. A friend had cold mushroom sauce which was quickly replaced. It remains my go to restaurant in Calgary.

    Came here for an early dinner today, our server was really nice and attentive. Had the French onion soup to start and the beef Wellington for main, both were good but not amazing, definitely have had better. Desserts were very mediocre, had the cheesecake and the sticky toffee pudding (would skip dessert next time). Would definitely go back, seems like a good find based on my dining experiences in Calgary overall.

    Looking for a good steak while in Calgary on business. Visited Wellington’s and came way more than impressed. First of all, the prices for steak are so reasonable, coming from the United States. I haven’t seen prices like this for this quality of meat in a long time. This is not your typical Outback Steakhouse quality this is steakhouse quality up there with the best steak houses out there. Beef Wellington was the best I have ever eaten. Service was excellent and I would absolutely return to this place next time in Calgary for another very well priced, delicious and well served meal.

    The food and the service was fantastic,. The only thing I would have changed was having more hollindaise sauce on our steak neptune, and the crab didn't have alot of flavor. It was really good though.

    First time diners at Wellington’s of Calgary for a birthday dinner. Most of us wanted to try Beef Wellington for the first time. We skipped on the appetizers this time and one member of the party tried the cream of chicken soup that was on special which was delicious. The Beef Wellingtons we’re all cooked to perfection. The gravy was delicious and the stuffed potato was amazing. The whole table agreed beat twice baked potatoes we had all ever had. The seafood pasta had a lot of seafood in it - shrimps were a good size. Dessert was cheese cake and sticky toffee pudding. Great portion size for price and both tasty. Spicy margarita, wine, Coors beer and Caesar (garnished with celery, pickle and pepperoni stick) were all good. (Kokanee on tap was a bit flat which was only minor hiccup). Service was polite and friendly and right mix of present but not overbearing. We were left to eat our dinners after the initial check-in to see how it was and a bit later to top up waters. I would go back here in a minute. It is pricey. Need a $65 minimum budget per person with tax and tip for an entree and drink in the dining room. Definitely worth it.

    We have been regular patrons of Wellington's over the years and to be honest have never had a poor experience, meal or service. In regards to the service level I consider it top notch and the staff are polite and friendly. Awesome place!
