25 wedding g anniversary - arrived early for reservations and seated immediately - nice - very attentive wait staff - good bar drinks and nice wine list - oysters and four gras were excellent and main course the same - halibut and none-in filet cooked nicely and good flavor - only down side as dining room was really loud until brown thinned out later - tough to have a conversation
Excellent food and excellent service. We always enjoy the western door niagara. Love going there. It’s our favorite restaurant.
Once again our meal at the Western Door was Fantastic. My wife had the bone in Ribeye with a 7oz. lobster tail and I had the scallops in Lobster sauce both meals were cooked to perfection. Our waiter Jeremy was outstanding as well.
Excellent as usual. Our waiter Steve was great. We really enjoy this place, highly recommend.
First time here, food was fantastic, service was fantastic. A little bit pricey.
Although there was an ongoing snafu at the check in line, the manager made it up to us by the end of the night- giving us complimentary desserts for our party of 4. The food was a mixed result for us. Mine- a porterhouse- was very tasty, just a bit redder than I normally get. My friend also had a steak, and it was spot on! The sides overall were fantastic!! But 2 of us got dinners that were undercooked and not up to their usual expectations even when touched up (filet mignon & prime rib). 3 of us live in the area and eat at Western Door often, so it won't prevent us from coming back, but I was slightly disappointed that my visiting friend couldn't see Western Door at it's best.
Wonderful as always. Rachael is a super waiter
Steak was great. A little pricy but the food and staff were great.
The food and service were perfect as usual but the large party that was near us were literally screaming across the table. At times our table could barely talk to each other.
Great experience, French onion soup were great. Service was excellent.
Normally we come twice a year but this year have been a bit more often. The food is always exccellant and the service wonderful. It is pricey but well worth the few extra dollars
The crab salad special was amazing! My husband and I have been to the restaurant many times and we are never disappointed. The food is fabulous and our waitress on Friday night was so pleasant. We will definitely be back. Western door is our date night away from the kids at least once a month.
We celebrated our 5 year anniversary last Friday and everything part of the meal was outstanding. Our servers were so sweet and attentive. The cosmos were delicious and the ribeye and filet mignon were perfectly cooked and tasted great. We shared the baked potato and ordered it loaded and were provided a potato cut in half with your traditional "loaded" toppings on the side to create your potato to your liking. Overall, we had a fantastic dinner and will most definitely be back in the future.
This was one of the best dining experiences! We were on our honeymoon and after we stuffed ourselves with the amazing food...they brought us over complimentary dessert....which was amazing!!!!! Thank you for a wonderful honeymoon!!!

Everything was excellent especially the filets. The sides are large enough to share. Can’t wait to go again!
The atmosphere and ambiance is comfortable and lovely. The service from our 2 servers was great and of course, the food(crab cakes, steak, potato and dessert) fantastic. The rib steak is among the best I've had, cooked to perfection.
Been to dinner several times and enjoyed every time.
My wife and I were there for our anniversary.
The clams casinos came out hot, the rest of the food was Luke warm at best. Desert was fantastic.
Just very disappointed in the food temperature.
Good service and always accommodated by the Maitre
'd with any seating requests and a friendly attitude
Halibut Special was very over cooked and dry
Absolutely delicious as usual. Already booked two more times in the near future. Rachael is an excellent waitress.
Great service and wonderful food
Perfect! Enjoy and Cheers
Bit pricey but worth every penny.
The meal was outstanding. We each had their fabulous French Onion Soup. Then we shared a porterhouse steak and mashed potatoes. The meat was ever so tender and prepared just right. The mashed potatoes were yummy and a very generous portion also. The coffee service presentation was delightful. Our server was very pleasant and attentive. I couldn't come up with a complaint if you paid me!
Already have! Excellent meal, wonderful service.
We will be back. Great way to celebrate our anniversary. Thanks!
I would not recommend this restaurant. Our initial table was at the kitchen swing door and after watching a tray stand set up 2 feet away and a herd of people passing us I had to ask to be moved and since we were there for an anniversary dinner I felt we never should never have been seated there. It's really all about the food and when the wedge salad is the best part of the meal that's not a good sign. The clams casino had no clam basically an over worked tasteless and under seasoned crab cake mix with a giant glump of melted cheese. My "Wagyu" steak($65.00) was ordered at medium and was medium rare to rare the farther I ate. It had a terrible wild game flavor and was drowned in butter. It was on the menu at 12 oz and at best was 9oz. Honestly I can get prime NY strip at $10/ lb. Alaskan king crab ($38.00/ 8 oz) arrives pre cooked and only needs to be warmed, my crab came all dried out especially the thinner portions. My wife had a scallop dish which were tasty and cooked properly which is the reason the food got 2 stars. You can decide as a meal with tax and tip was $241.00 but never again for us. LasVegas pricing and Applebee's quality.
Our meals were perfectly prepared, our waiters were friendly, attentive, efficient and remembered my “party of four” from our last visit which was over 8 weeks ago! (Kudos to waitress Sharon ( and waiter Steve?). I live out of state, but visit the Niagara Falls area about every 6-8 weeks, and the WD is my go-to restaurant for business dinners, celebrating with friends, or just in the mood for a relaxing meal. Both the food and the service is consistently excellent!
The Western door is Seneca Niagara Resort's most upscale restaurant. The food is a bit pricey but high-quality and delicious. The service is excellent. I don't think you could find more delicious scallops anywhere.
Went here for my 10th anniversary with my wife many problems that weekend getting to the restaurant with my hotel and having to move my reservations because my tour ran late when explained to the staff they were friendly professional and AMAZING gave us a window seat free dessert and the food was out of this world...the best I have ever had without a doubt it was expensive but worth every penny it was romantic quiet very upscale the staff all the staff was amazing it was very clean top to bottom it was without a doubt the best part of our trip everything we ate was amazing no wrong choice I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a amazing restaurant and I cant wait to go back..
Once again our dinner and service was wonderful. We had a great Time can’t wait to go back
Excellent as usual and Rachael is great!
The food was delicious and the service was great..I will definitely go back.. This was my sixth visit.
Always a wonderful meal and great service! I would reccomend , lots of choices!
We enjoyed celebrating our wedding night dinner there. Food was fantastic we ordered the prime rib, chicken and scallops.
We will definitely be making reservations when we return.
Visited Seneca Niagara for three days. Ate here two of those days. Great appetizers, salad. Steaks phenomenal. Had 12oz filet one day and 16oz bone in filet. Very comparable to Ruth’s Chris or Morton’s in my opinion. Sides and dessert options about average. Nice wine selection. Will go again!!
The food was delicious our server was just ok, never told us of specials like other servers told other guests. Came to us in limited amounts his name was john
We had our first dinner of our honeymoon here and it was absolutely wonderful. Jimmie and Aung were fantastic servers and they even brought us a small dessert with candles to share in honor of the occasion! The scallops and the lobster bisque were absolutely to die for. We will definitely be back the next time we are in the area!
We enjoyed our lobster bisque very much. The steak & baked potato were as expected for the price. I liked the drink special. We will visit it again on our next trip.
The meal was outstanding, food was cooked exactly as ordered. Service was timely and very professional. Price is very reasonable considering the quality of the food and the amenities at the steakhouse. Looking forward to our next visit there.
