Went with 7 family members for the Sunday brunch. The menu to choose from was great, but we were hoping for a brunch buffet which we had here before. Anyhow, the service was awesome, so was the food. No one left hungry and everyone was happy with everything there. Will come back another day. Thanks

Food was great however the past couple times, the service has been extremely slow. After being seated by the hostess, it took about 15 to 20 mins for the server to actually come to our table. And then food took another 40 mins at least.

Wing Day at White Squirrel is great value. We go Wednesday evening because Dustin SkySmith is playing but we are always impressed with the service and quality of the food. I am in a wheelchair so I am most appreciative of the elevator and the accessible washroom. Staff members are friendly and efficient. We hope you will continue to have Dustin playing there for the rest of the summer.

Seems the night we were there, the restaurant just seemed to be starting up for the season. Drinks came late to the table. My salad was drowning in dressing.

There was eight of us. Had to ask girl who brought our appetizers (not our server) to take the empty plates from appetizers as there was no room as she came to the table three times with food and took nothing back. She wasn’t very friendly. Everyone’s fries was cold. The two poutines where good but the gravy didn’t make them any warmer. The one person who had the steak said it was tender but absolutely no flavour ( chucks 100 times better). He never leaves food in his plate and left half the steak,the lady who got the butter chicken hers was 2 in high of rice and 6 small bite size pieces of chicken with a wee bit of sauce. That was $30. Meatloaf one fellow ordered was runny never seen meatloaf like that he was great full he ordered wings too. The fish orders guys said was good. And the appetizer platter was good. We go out every Saturday night for dinner and haven’t had this happen yet where we all said we wouldn’t go back again.

Glad to have tried the pizza, it was simple and good. Overall a fine spot for lunch with its small-town feel. It was a rainy afternoon. The restaurant was about 3/4 full, with no patio service of course so I could not account for the rushed service we encountered. Zero time for questions or interaction with our server until it was time to make a decision on the tip. We may return but there are other options in the area that have a more welcoming environment.

We had reservations for 6:30. Everyone arrived on time and drinks were ordered in a timely manner. Food orders were slow and we didn't get served our main course for at least 2 hours after we arrived. Some of the plates were not at proper temp. The music was too loud through most of the meal and it was very difficult to carry on a conversation. After some complaints were made, we were only offered one free dessert per couple. We normally like going to the White Squirrel but this was a bad experience.

All 12 of us would gladly return. Our server was excellent since she was the only server when we were there. They have a good selection on the menue, slightly over priced, but what isn't these days. The price of the alcoholic beverages was about $3.00 over priced prompting most of us to drink ice water next time.

The food was very good! The salads tasted fresh and crispy. Good choice in LOCAL craft beers. White Squirrel supports local businesses, then I will support them, unlike chain restaurants that only supply multi-national breweries. Our waitress was fantastic. Efficient, friendly and always a smile. Prices were reasonable and competitive. We will come again!
