We always enjoy our nights out at Wildfire. There was an unusual lengthy delay between our appetizers and our entrees but our waiter, Gregory H let us know it was due to a large party order that had come in before ours. He comp’d us 2 desserts for the 3 of us as a result. We felt he was very attentive and knowledgeable about customer needs.

Husband really enjoyed the Tenderloin fettuccine. I had the New York strip steak, and it was ok but not a great cut of meat and needing a little more trimming. Service was very attentive. Atmosphere was fun if you are looking for something a little young/contemporary.

Our server was personable and attentive. The bartender made my husbands modified manhattan perfectly. The food was a disappointment especially since it was a steak house and we ordered steak. The potatoes and veggies were barely warm and the steak was overdone. We ordered medium rare and got a solid medium. Chef should have taken the steaks off the grill when the sides were plated and it would have been perfect. I expect that misstep at home but not from a professional.

While the service and food was very very good it felt like it was missing something, ambience wise. But like I said our server was amazing didn’t rush us on our anniversary he was very personable. Overall it was a very fun night!

For what we got it was not worth it. Food was pedestrian at best. Burger tasted like it Was frozen and defrosted multiple times before cooking it. Ribs were basic, artichoke dip tasted just like anywhere else even though our server told us it was a specialty. Overall I probably won’t go back. It wasn’t terrible, but it was far from great.

Service was terrible, took over 15 minutes to be greeted after sitting for a pretty slow Friday night. However, once ordered food came relatively quick. Drinks took a while.. food was great. hostess is amazing!

The location was convenient and inviting. However, I wasn't a fan of the high seats in the bar section; seating can truly shape the dining vibe. Now, let's talk about the stars of the show—the food! The tenderloin fettuccini was an absolute delight, bursting with flavours. My wife opted for the burger and couldn't stop raving about it. Kudos to the chef! A small hiccup with the drink order was swiftly handled by the bartender, who caught the mistake but brought the drink to our table anyway - before saying he would remix. I'm guessing he was hoping she would say no problem. And dessert... oh my! The salted caramel cheesecake was a slice of heaven. Easily one of the best I've ever had. Despite a few minor bumps, the overall experience was very good. Wildfire, you've won us over with your culinary prowess. I can't wait to explore more of your menu!

Our server was beyond amazing, we found out that there was only ONE chef creating all the dishes so the service was a bit slow we totally understand why! The chef needs more praise. But our server did an amazing job on keeping us updated on the times of our dishes etc. She really made our night :) Great restaurant for a little date night in the city, highly recommend

This is hidden gem! Great food, attentive waiters and atmosphere. The only improvement I would suggest is for a little more time before removing plates, glasses, etc considering there were times we hadn't even swallowed what was in our mouth. We would definitely go again!

My friend and I had the 4 cheese spinach dip, tenderloin fettucine and I had the portbello ravioli - we cleaned our plates! Server Sienna very nice and checked on us frequently and a nice guy whose name I didn't get brought us our food right away. We made reservations in case it was busy on Fri night, but it was decent traffic. Would def come back!

Wildfire is a pleasant place with a warm décor. The service (as others have mentioned) is a little slow, but I actually enjoyed the relaxed evening. The prices are good. I paid $35 for an 8oz sirloin steak that was every bit as good as a $65 steak elsewhere.

Aiden and Peter were both very accommodating to me and my gf. They kept checking up on us to make sure our experience was enjoyable. The steaks were made to our liking and were very flavourful.

I had a pleasant dinner at Wildfire Steak Restaurant in the Cosmopolitan Hotel. The food is very tasty - good steaks and appetizers, especially the garlic bread and four cheese dip. I really liked how friendly the servers were and helpful with serving the dishes and getting the drinks without getting in the way of our conversation. I had a great time.

The food and drinks were great. We had a lovely waitress and others who checked in on us, refilled water, dropped off cutlery and more. The staff was incredible. Food was incredible. The ambience was very nice however we got sat next to two larger parties and one group was taking pictures with a very bright flashlight right in our direction. This was slightly frustrating as they didn’t have much respect for those dining around them and could have turned the other way go take pictures rather than pointing bright lights right at our table. The ambience was great but again, the lights and louder parties took away from our experience. I understand nothing can be done and it’s just luck of the draw, so that being said, I hope we have better luck next time.

Staff were friendly, ambiance was great- very nice for a date. Food was so so. Steaks were over cooked, and very heavy handed on the spices in all the dishes. The veggies were great.

It was the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. The ambiance is lack lustre, dead and the space is so small which I was not expecting from the photos. The food was not great. We only had apps and it was mediocre. Ordered the spinach dip that originally came with cheese on top, it was so greasy that we had to send it back. My sister got the calamari, it was not fresh and portion was pretty small for what your typically get elsewhere. The service was soo incredibly slow like nothing I’ve experienced before. We did order mains, but because it was taking soo long to get, we decided to cancel. They had a private event at 9pm which we were notified beforehand. It was 8:40pm and we still hadn’t received our mains. We were waiting around 40 mins to get it and prob around 20-25 mins for the apps. We were over it by that point and we were not going to rush to eat our food. We asked our server to cancel our order and the manger came over and told us that we can’t cancel and that chef was plating our meals. It was 8:45 at this point and the food came out while we were speaking to the manager. We said that the whole thing is ridiculous and that no one should be waiting that long. The manger kept pushing back saying we had to pay. He didn’t apologize or anything. The explanation he gave didn’t make sense. He was so rude and unprofessional. Our server on the other hand was great. She totally understood where we were coming from and she took the mains off our bill. Needless to say we will not be returning and would not recommend this place to anyone.

The Wildfire Steakhouse in the Cosmopolitan Hotel in downtown Toronto is very nice. In fact, you would be quite impressed by its decor. A very sophisticated decor inside an unimposing building. The Food is very good and so is the service. We were there for Summerlicious 2023 so we did not expect to be blown away by the food but it still was very good. In fact, great value for the money. I am looking forward to going back for dinner and trying some of the items off their regular dinner menu. I would highly recommend this place. The have an extensive cocktail and wine menue and the service is great.
