   Beautiful place, amazing staff but the food was sub par. My wife and sister got the chicken biscuit sandwiches and were highly disappointed but the drinks were amazing and our waitress (Michelle I believe) older woman, was SENSATIONAL!!!

   Finally made it to Willa Jean. It is fun and has a lively atmosphere. I had the hamburger. It was cooked well and high quality, but boring. Dressed with cheese, onions and mustard. Slap some lettuce and pickles on there. Option for more toppings. Serve it with fries. It came with chips that were too salty to eat. (And I love salty) Freind got the chicken sandwich.    It was very lovely. The biscuit and jam was different but very very good and rememberable. The hangover bowl was nothing short of amazing. Server was super nice! Will visit again next time im in town! Ooooo dont sleep on the chocolate chip cookies either!!

    This restaurant is amazing. Went for breakfast and everything was on point. Fresh ingredients and creative combination of flavors. I had the hangover bowl and it was delicious. The service was excellent and I can’t wait to return.

    The fried chicken is seasoned well. I enjoyed the drink options. Our server was busy and still made time to check in with us frequently. We had no problems with the service or the experience. I will definitely return. The biscuits are top tier.

    Burger was dry… very very dry and then I had the “short rib” that was top round and dry, Stringy and not good enough for 25 bucks! I would go back for the biscuit and chicken with side of gravy! House fries should be French fries but the sauce was great!

    We stopped here for our last breakfast before leaving town, and it was outstanding! They were kind enough to store our suitcase behind the hostess stand because we were literally headed straight to the airport. Outstanding food and great service!

    Willa Jean is absolutely one of the best restaurants not only in New Orleans - but here in the nation. It is truly the most pleasant atmosphere. I had the best tomato soup in my life here - and I am particular. Friendly staff go out of their way to help out the patrons. Everything is delicious!! Biscuits to die for and some great New Orleans dishes also. You will not be disappointed! Promise!!

    We both had biscuits. I had the fried chicken honey + Tabasco soooooo good. The biscuits are laminated, the butter layers make the biscuit moist and flaky. My husband had the Grandma’s sausage gravy. A lot of cayenne that left a lingering heat. A bit intense for us, but if you like heat it’s a great biscuit. Great ambience, great service.     Great breakfast! Really enjoyed Willa Jean. Great choices for unique local southern breakfast fare. Iced chai was delicious. Bloody Mary’s just ok, too much pickle juice maybe? Great wait staff. Overall highly recommend!

    Boy, the service has really gone down hill over the years. Our server disappeared after taking our order. I got up 4 times to get various things throughout the meal. The chicken sandwich made up for the miserable service. Sadly our biscuit and gravy was so tough on the bottom it was difficult to cut with a serrated, steak knife! Seriously. Ending on a positive note, the near Carnegie deli-sized, triple layer coconut cake was a 10 out of 10.

    One entree didn’t come out and had to wait awhile to get waitresses attention to tell her. She had to ask what he ordered as she clearly didn’t put in order. Well done burger came out medium rare and we were never checked on to be able to tell anyone. Nothing done to make up for entree that my husband had to eat solo, as we were done eating. Very disappointing experience.
