    On a whim, dined on Thanksgiving day. First time to Wilson. Don't believe I have ever encountered such genuinely friendly staff. Husband had traditional turkey dinner (very good) and since I'm not a turkey fan, went with recommendation of boneless friend chicken which was incredible. The side dish of greens and carrots were delicious also. Also, a one-of-a-kind and delicious bloody mary! It is an easy 1 hour drive from Germantown. Interior very well done. We will definitely return.

    Overall, this experience was a little disappointing. My group of three were taken to the bar area which was in a separate room and seated near a large party of 10-15 people who were having happy hour drinks. They were very loud, but this was expected. We were sat there when the main dining room was nearly empty and this was a mystery to us. Myself my two guests were working outdoors all day and we were dressed very causally, not as dressy as the two tables in the main dining room. We felt we were shoved to the back because we were not as well dressed as others. Maybe we assumed wrong. Dinner overall was good. One guest ordered the special of the evening, the Jerk Chicken and he loved it. My other guest ordered the short rib gnocchi and he enjoyed it as well. I ordered the crab cake and it was past the point of salty. It was so salty, it was inedible. I took only two bites and sent it back. Our server --- she was highlight of the evening --- said we were not the first guests to complain about the level of salt in the crab cake. She also hinted that the chef did not seem to believe either what she said or what other customers were saying. It had been an on-going debate. Overall, Wilson Cafe is a gem and I will be back. I'm not going to let one salty dish keep me away. But I will be more mindful of the dress code and whether they are keeping the more casually-dressed patrons hidden from view. If the want to have a certain dress code, it needs to be on the website.

    There are several bars, seating areas, and sections of this restaurant. It is unclear why we were sat in a specific location, or what the different areas represent, but we will return to find out. We enjoyed a meal inside and then sat outside for adult beverages and live music.

    The food was plenty but all of it was way to salty. I got the pork chop breakfast. The pork chops had too much breading and very salty. The sausage gravy didn’t like on top of the pork chops and was very salty. The fried green tomatoes were mushy and very salty. There were 3 in my party and it was $133.00. Over priced!

    We love this charming restaurant. The food is always superb - this time sole perfectly cooked with a delicious, light butter sauce - and so it the service. The 45 minute drive from Memphis is part of the experience. I highly recommend this restaurant for everything from dinners for two to family celebrations.

    I think the waitress was new, she was very nice and polite but didnt have much knowledge of the menu. The steak I was was well done, and I ordered it medium rare. Maybe just a fluke.

    A Delta oasis with classy and casual atmosphere, friendly and professional service, and not a weak link in any of our generously proportioned lunch entrees (jambalaya, salmon and turkey club). Looking forward to a future visit to include an evening meal with wine and a night’s stay at the next-door Louis boutique hotel. Wilson the town and Cafe are not to be missed. Kudos to the chef and well-trained staff!
