We were celebrating our anniversary and ordered the 5 course tasting menu with wine pairings. The staff here was amazing. We were greeted by a "Happy Anniversary" on the printed menu and the house comped our ordered glasses of prosecco. The food was really good, the wine pourings were very generous and the service was perfect.

Great Birthday dinner at Wink! They even customized the menus. The 5 course option was perfect and I loved that you could interchange some courses to more fit your tastebuds. The wine pairings seemed to be well thought out.

We had an amazing dinner last night at wink! We ordered the five course tasting menu with the wine pairing. Everything was excellent. The service was delightful. The attention to detail was impeccable. Loved the wine pairing! Highly recommend this restaurant.

We went for a birthday and they printed his name on the menu as well as offering one that was signed with a birthday greeting. Very nice touch! We did 5-course tasting menus with wine pairings, one regular and one pescatarian (they also offer vegan and vegetarian). Everything was amazing! It was such a lovely evening and a perfect place for a special occasion, but also felt homey and comfortable. I would get any of the items we tasted again so I’d be confident trying anything they have to offer!

Went for my Anniversary, told them before going when I booked the reservations and they put Happy Anniversary ON THE MENUS!! & even did some extra things with our meal. The 5 course meal was absolutely worth it with the wine pairing, BEST food I’ve ever had. Flavors were incredible with the wines, VINCENT was the best server as well as very knowledgeable. My fiancé is gluten free so they made sure to make everything accommodate for her. I recommend this to everyone, they have a wine bar across the restaurant and it’s every bit as amazing before or after your meal. The price is totally worth it, I can’t wait to come back!

Excellent cuisine, very high level. Offers a la carte and multiple course tasting menus. Just be prepared for the small portions. Dessert trio (creme brulee, lemon, chocolate cake) was amazing; possibly best tasting dessert in my memory. Deserves 5 star. Also a wine bar next door for burgers and snacks.

Had a wonderful experience with Austin as our waiter. Enjoyed an unworldly experience with excellent food paired with wine that was presented in such a unique way. Will be returning for special occasions AND recommending this place to friends and family. Wine bar across the alleyway also has a happy hour. Perfect atmosphere to start off the evening before dinner, or to have some dessert wine afterwards.

Outstanding food (we did the 5 course tasting menu + wine pairing). Service by Austin was very professional, yet engaging. He was very knowledgeable on the food and the wine. We had a 6pm seating and it was quiet, by the time we were served desert, the noise level had risen to moderate. First class venue for that special someone in your life!

Enjoyed celebrating our anniversary at Wink and appreciated the cozy atmosphere. We chose the 5 course sampler. All selections were delicious and exquisitely presented. The service was excellent and our server, Austin was very friendly and attentive. Very nice wine selection. The desserts served with the sampler were delicious.

Excellent service. The entire staff was outstanding!!! Good food. My husband ordered the 7 course and I ordered the 5 course. We were not disappointed!! A little pricey but worth it. We will be back. Would recommend.

We celebrated my boyfriend’s birthday here and chose to share several dishes rather than do the pre fixe menu. We had the crudo, foie gras, crab cakes and duck breast. Everything was delicious. Ended with the chocolate dessert and espressos. Service with Austin was fantastic! Highly recommend getting to your reservation early and grabbing a glass of wine at the bar next door. Great wine - every bottle was also by the glass. This was our 1st time at wink and not our last! Think we’ll check out service at the wine bar next time, looks like the have a killer happy hour.

Wink was a wonderful experience. The exterior and interior are both not great representations of what to expect. The unassuming exterior and interesting interior decor do not prepare you for the beautifully crafted dishes. My partner and I did the 7 course tasting menu. I do not care for seafood and they were so kind and told me it would not be a problem to sub out courses. There was one dish that was far too spicy for my comfort level and they were quick to swap it out, despite me saying I was okay to skip the course. The presentation of each dish was beautiful, and the taste was good. This is where I've reduced a star, everything was good, and I mean that with utmost sincerity, just not exceptional. The portion sizes were very generous, I would have been satisfied with only 5 courses. I wish I could give 4.5 stars because that is what I would give the restaurant if an option.

Unbelievable everything! Wink is a gem of an upscale restaurant and wine bar. If you don't book a reservation here, you are missing out on an Austin institution that serves the umami of your taste bud senses ridiculously well!

Service was excruciatingly slow. There were not many diners there and the kitchen was not busy. After 2 1/2 hours the wait staff was cleaning up and we were the last diners in the restaurant, still waiting for our last course of the tasting menu

We went to Wink for our wedding anniversary. She ordered the 5 course meal and I ordered the 7 course meal. I took pictures of every entree, because the presentation was outstanding. the taste was outstanding. Our server, K____, was very good. I would recommend Wink for not just special occasions, but also when we need to spend some of our childrens' inheritance.
