   Business lunch at Winnie’s on a sunny day with outdoor table was great. Atmosphere galore. Appropriately priced. Very good service. The salmon burger was tasty. Would definitely return for lunch in the future.

   I had an amazing breakfast this week at Winnie’s. The service was amazing. The food was amazing for the price. Atmosphere was great at 9:30 AM. Couldn’t ask for a better breakfast spot.

   Very disappointing experience. The food and drinks were not good and very different from my prior experiences. Our server attempted to fix the drinks and one came out better, but the other was still not good. Mimosas were not cold and no fizz! Burgers lacked flavor and not cooked to requested temperature (Med).

   My overall experience was okay. I think the waiter I had made me give this place a 3 star instead of 4. Next would be the fish tacos were nasty and bland. The environment was nice, mostly everyone was friendly but the waiter we had took away from having a better experience initially. She seemed agitated when I was trying to find out about the drink selection. I have had wayyyy better fish tacos. The rice was really good as well as the honey chipotle wings. They were so good we ordered more. I am a fan of long islands so I did go with the top shelf liquor for the long island, however they only make it as a classic. I usually like either strawberry or blue long islands. Well that is what we were told. But the manager did come out and greet us. He was pleasant. I don't think I would return but I would say that the honey chipotle wings and top shelf long island was really good!

    Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich was very tasty, as were the fried pickle spears. Keeping our drinks full was a struggle for our young waiter, but otherwise the service was fine.

    Hopefully their standard menu items are better than their St. Patrick’s Day corned beef and cabbage dish was. The meat looked like it was sliced from a block of formed meat- it was bland and tasteless as was the cabbage- red spuds were good though! Service was spotty. The waiter was rushed with lots of tables. Never checked in after food arrived. After our plates were cleared by other staff he brought us utensil set ups as though we’d just arrived. He recovered quickly but was obviously challenged to keep everything straight. It wasn’t a bad experience but we’d probably try somewhere else on Main St. before going back here again.

    We've been visiting Winnie's for years, previously Winnie Lebus and I/we have never been disappointed. It's a cozy spot, close enough to our home, and falls in the electric sweet spot of Manayunk's Main Street. Whether we are inside or outside sitting, the service has been kind, and prompt and the menu always has something delicious to enjoy. During this visit, we landed at the Crab Burger and the Southern Fried Chicken Burgers which were both scrumptious, and the truffle fried were hot, fresh, and a lovely accompaniment to our entree.     Just a bad experience. I don’t like to complaint but it was really bad and I felt bad I’d spent that much money and I always spend a lot and am okay with it. Burnt burger, long waits for drinks. App takes 15 minutes to get there and then they bring the entrees 30 seconds later at a small table with no room. Felt rushed to eat and get out of there and we weren’t even there long.

    Winnies was a great place to get together with an old friend. Our server gave us the time and space to chat away, gave wonderful suggestions on what to order, and brought our meals out in a timely fashion. Our lunch was fabulous!

    Was a relatively bot so busy Saturday evening at 730. The place wasn’t packed at all. Our dinner order was messed up a couple times. Some of us received entrees before apps came out. Another received a tuna dish instead of her ordered crab cake entree. The worst part was the kids chicken fingers being served to a CHILD completely raw in the center!! The GM apologized and took the kids raw chicken and some appetizers off the bill. Seemed a bit too little too late.

    We just moved to the area and thought we would give this restaurant a try. Service was just fair. Food was fine, but it took extremely long for it to come out of the kitchen. Maybe just a bad night. We will have to try it again.

    The atmosphere was nice, waiter was attentive. Didn’t like where hostess initially had us seated which was right outside kitchen. I don’t like to sit in areas where there’s too much traffic. We were able to change our seats. Food was good for price.

    Food was excellent (as usual). I had the vegetarian chili with cornbread. Absolutely delicious!! For dessert I had the Apple cobbler. The apple cobbler is not actually cobbler. It’s cake with apples. It was okay but I was expecting warm cobbler with lots of crumb topping. Overall the meal and service were excellent.

    The server was particularly attentive (without overdoing it). He brought me a new ice tea without my asking for it. We both had the avocado club, which I can highly recommend.
