    Overall, I love this place. The atmosphere is great, and the place is beautiful. I was a little disappointed in the food and service this time, which was unfortunate since I brought 3 people who had never been before, and they were not overly impressed. First off, we waited forever for a waitress. She eventually came, and took our drink orders, which were fabulous. We got our appetizers, but had to wait forever for utensils. The apps were excellent, we had the beef tips and the goat cheese. Two of my friends had the apple brie panini for entree, the bread was very dry, and their sweet potato fries were not cooked. My other friend had the garlic linguini (which I also had), asked for no hot peppers, but got hot peppers. Mine was great, not temlerature hot enough, and although I love olives, there were way too many. The waitress never came to check on how our dinners were, so my friend had to pick out the hot peppers. I flagged the waitress down to enquire about a glass of wine with my dinner, she brought me the menu, but never returned to take my wine order, so I ate my dinner without. Not sure if she was just having a bad night, but like I said, not sure if my friends will return, which is too bad since I was raving about the food and service. On the other hand, the guy in the gift shop was amazing, so funny and sweet! Because of his outgoing personality, I bought way more there than I had intended, lol! I will be back, since I realize this is not the norm, but I was disappointed.

    Had a Birthday party reservation @ 6:15pm for 6people and was able to up it to 8. Food was Incredibly good. Tasting flights were great warm up. Service was amazing, our server was on point and kept all drinks topped up. Wolfhead provided the perfect night and nothing felt rushed.

    Service was adequate. We had a server change and could not figure out why. Waited for 15 minutes to see our server so we can get our bill. It was busy but not overly busy felt a bit neglected. Food was good however everything seems a little expensive nowadays because just the cost of everything over all four or five.

    French onion soup is yummy. Love the garlic linguini. The maple bacon hamburg was good but a little dry ( over cooked) The beverages are a unique and fun treat with Wolfhead’s in house flavours. I like the grapefruit vodka. Good service…, a fun night.

    Everything was exceptional - the food, the service, the music, the patio. We were very pleasantly surprised, and my husband was happy to find an almost-local beer (Bayside) on tap. An excellent late lunch and afternoon. Will definitely recommend Wolfhead Distillery and Restaurant to others.

    As a ladies day for my wife and five of her best friends I planned an Amherstburg outing with the limo including the Macassa Bay boat tour, wineries, shopping and the highlight of the tour, Wolfhead for supper. None of my wife's friends had ever been to Wolfhead before but by the time we had finished dinner they vowed to return. Maddy was again the personable yet professional server for the evening and made the evening memorable. Six bowls of French Onion Soup, excellent entrees and tasty drinks completed ladies day in Wolfhead fashion. Thank you Wolfhead.

    What a wonderful experience! Our server, Maddie, was attentive but not in our faces. We were able to take our time choosing and enjoying all of our tasty meals. Food was fresh, hot, flavorful. Interest menu. Pricing is reasonable for quality and portion sizes. Definitely be back!

    Maddy, our server for the evening was outstanding. Personable yet professional she entertained us with the way she presented our flights of Wolfhead and serving us our food. The French Onion Soup is our go to every time we are there and every entree that we have been served is tasty and well prepared. We won't even write on how good the drinks are. Outstanding food, outstanding drinks and outstanding staff (you too Melissa), what more could you ask for.

    Too much cinnamon in French toast. However, because I didn’t like my meal they did not charge me for it. Definitely will return in future.

    Food and bar service was great. Sat at a table for at least 5 minutes watching 4 servers talking and not paying attention to us so we switched to sit at the bar.

    Made online reservation for 3 for 1pm Sat.- table was ready. Appetizers cajun beef tips and mushroom escargot both ezcellent and served piping hot which we liked. Cajun beef tips spiced well a bit more than expected but truly cajun. Service was excellent even with large table 20+people beside us. Tomato soup delicious- hot, tasted homemade and seasoned with herbs . Steak wrap, cajun burger, and surf and turf- all great; only turf was cut pieces of filet and my son wished it was a steak. Drinks were great -4 different from the menu, coffee good too. No room for dessert. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Made a birthday meal specia.l
